Looking To the Sky

LOOKING TO THE SKY IN THE DAYTIME CLOUDS SAIL BY

BIRDS FLYING, SINGING SONGS, IN TREE TOPS HIGH

LISTENING TO THE SOUNDS OF BIRDS AND BEES

QUITE A LOT OF ACTION HIGH UP IN THE TREES

AEROPLANES MARK AS THEY FLY THROUGH THE CLOUDS

CUTTING THEM UP, INTO PATTERNED SHROUDS

THE WAKE OF THE AEROPLANE LEAVING A GROOVE

FACES APPEAR IN THE CLOUDS AS THEY MOVE

AT NIGHT THE MOON SHINES OWLS HOOT IN THE DARK

AS THEY HUNT THEIR PREY LIKE A FLYING SHARK

SEE A FALLING STAR MAKE A WISH WHILE YOU CAN

CONSELLATIONS THAT LOOK LIKE A GIANT PLAN

MAPS IN THE SKY SHOWING TRAVELLERS THEIR WAY

NON OF THESE ARE VISIBLE DURING THE DAY

LOOKING TO THE SKY FOR INSPIRATION AND HOPE

THE SKY IS EVEN BIGGER SEEN THROUGH A TELESCOPE

THE WONDERS OF THE UNIVERSE UP ABOVE SO HIGH

MAKES YOU WONDER HOW IT IS AND THE REASON WHY
