The Snake Charmer

She has eyes like a magnet, that pulls one in
To a steel web where there is no escape
Then she licks her lips as she watches you
Tease and taunt you, tell you where you have been
And her evil smile, that is her type of rape
Telling you what will happen to you

A Black Widow Spider's heart and cold to the bone
A forked tongue of a snake and she will hiss
The Devil's child, you are her toy
The Queen of Evil sits on her throne
The kiss of death is her kiss
It is you she wants to destroy

You search for a way out, you beg to be free
Desperate, as if there is no hope
Crawling you are at your wit's end
She begs you to flee
To hang yourself, she gives you more rope
Then hugs you like a long lost friend

Freedom is something in a long lost dream
To the salt mines, ball and chain
Her poison, is your water to drink
All the time she is thinking of another evil scheme
So her pleasure will be your pain
Escape, is all you can think

For every tunnel has some light
After a fog lifts, there will be sunshine
Following every storm, it will be calmer
Sometimes it takes a lot of wrong to be right
And goodness will not die on the vine
Even the snake will bite the snake charmer

Static

Forever lost in space and time,
These stagnant seconds are divine.
With steady hand and shaky mind,
Pursuing something we’ll never find.

Drawn out hours that never cease,
The mental crypt allows no release.
Passing moments as best we can,
Devising yet another ill-thought plan.

Time stands still for those that wait,
Unable to face their looming fate.
Evading restrictions of endless rules;
Brushing shoulders with mindless fools.

Forever lost in space and time,
Those static seconds were divine.
Forever wishing we could rewind:
This is the delusion of our kind.

Open My Eyes

Open my Eyes

What’ going on in this land?
What happen to, “In justice we stand”?
These right-winged judges are making laws
Guarded by a towering wall
Have we the people lost the fight?
Lost the will to protect our rights?

We are now told when we can live, when we can die
Under government’s watchful eye
Where we can pray, where we can speak
Which God we are allow to seek
Whom we can marry, whom we can not
What kind of liberty have we got?

Why are people not accountable for the laws they make?
Why is one person allowed to determine ones fate?
What happen to the rights our fathers fought for?
What happen to the liberties gained with each war?
Am I the one lost in thinking this way?
Am I out of line with too much to say?

I think not, for I have opened my eyes
And I’m trying to do the same to you gals and guys
The freedoms of America, are being stripped away
By lawyers and judges with too much say
Stand up and demand our liberties back
Cause this great land of ours is under attack

In the Mirror's Eyes

Alas, death sets in
The bitter cold at night
The chills that haunt my soul
Creeping in like a virus
It makes no sound
But in your heart
It always will abound

This pain gives offset emotions
In the mirror I hate what I see
I see, me

A person with no future
No hope
No dreams
No aspirations
Just one lost soul

But what I don't know
Is that there is someone who cares
Even if I ignore it
I make myself oblivious to the love around
All I hear is the repeating sound

From lost lovers saying no
To old friends that let me go

I look in this mirror and see
Someone who wants to be free
Escape the bitter pain
But if take my life now it will all be in vain

I am unaware
Of the little things around
The friends that still care
The family I still have
I take it all for granted
And I do not see
How much these people
Really love me

Lost Glove

It’s getting cold and I’ve lost my glove
One hand gets warmth and the other no love

I’ve looked in the closet and under the couch
I’ll keep searching this place for I’m not a slouch

I’m looking through the stuff in my garage
Is that it in the corner?.......oh no, that's a mirage

I grab my coat and head for the door
Have I lost my glove forever more

No glove in sight and it’s time to leave
Take one guess at what’s in my sleeve (smiles)

Now both hands will feel woolly love
For I’ve just found the other glove

Oh, Where Does the Mind Go When It Is Lost?

Oh, where does the mind go when it is lost?
When the day’s trite monotonous tone brings
It madness, causing it to fly across
Realities realm as if it had wings;
Flying, soaring to silent streets far gone
From mortal bonds along beautiful shores
Long, long before civilizations dawn,
Running from the beast that is the day’s chores.
Some get lost in pages of books just read
Or in the search to find a poets tone.
Or, searching for the right words never said
To lost loves ones that we have always known.
The mind is not as lost as it would seem
Just dreaming behind my computer screen.

A Lady of the Night

She was a lady of the night,

doing her drugs seemed somehow to make it right.

Just a clothed piece of meat that was for sale,

how did she ever get entangled in this living Hell?

Another needle filled with delusions and dope,

she cry's out as she injects this short lived hope.

Another John without a face,

she thinks she's gone too far, to receive redemption from our Saviors grace.

How did it start and who's to blame?

does it really matter the outcome seems to always be the same!

No stranger to the county jail,

her name written on every wall in every cell.

Above her name this is what it read,

ten million demons invade and possess my head!

Oh God, I need a fix, please let me die,

please, please help me Lord, her wanton cry!

A cell mate next door called out her name,

she said Missy Magdalene, just what's your game?

Don't you know, no one here cares what you think or do,

we are all lost souls so get a clue.

Then came a bright glow which exhumed her cell,

then a voice so soft said Mary would you like to leave this man made Hell?

There He stood in all His splendor, so pure and bright,

God's only Son, who came forth to be her guiding light!

The need for drugs, He took away,

her life He changed this very day!

Now she spends each waking hour,

showing others that are lost God's Awesome Power!

Meaning

The flowers have lost their meaning
And sun has lost his shine
A devil rises to the power
Turns into something divine
Thought they crumble
Upon the mountains of pain
Sadness piles upon
The madness

Fear
Turn into something
Irreplaceable
Pounding heart
Like a hailstorm
Coldness runs
As the vision get clearer
Tears fall as the memories
Get dear

Lost

You've been gone for a while,
I needed you with me.
Where have u been?

             Was I too much???
Have I lost u for good?

I've found myself up through the night,
Unable to find that piece of u that calms!
So I wander, To no where!!! Stuck in between
subliminal lines....

              Was I too much???
Have I lost u for good?

Seeing only in shades of life,
And none of it is quite what it seems
Everything confuses me, Only with you, Is it clarity.

                WAS I TOO MUCH???
HAVE I LOST U FOR GOOD?

In a world of insanity, phasing in and out of reality...
Every morning my pores start to tear,
Nervously awaiting and hoping you would come back
to me...
                        At the break of sanity
I no longer ask? Was I too much.
Excepting that my pressures are yours ....
When the weight becomes too heavy

                           Poof your GONE!!!

 Dreadfully realizing that without YOU,
 I am nothing......
The one thing I can't bear to lose!!!!

                                  MY MIND!!!

What Do I Choose

There are a thousand reasons for me to cut,
There are a thousand reasons for me to go...
So what do i choose?
Do i want the pain to end?
Or do i want to make sure im still alive?
I lost everyone,
I lost my friends,
I lost my best friends,
What am i supposed to do?
I lost everyone,
Who do i turn to?
Who do i talk to?
What do i do?
I think i should leave..
And i think i will leave..
this harsh,
cruel,
world..

May Be

It's so hard
but you'd not understand it
not understand it at all
how hard i took a fall
when i saw your pretty face
i was lost inside the place
of your beautiful eyes
and lost in your sweetest of voice
and
i know you
you'd not understand
not understand it at all
how hard i took a fall
only if i could fly and crash land
in your arms
only if i could write your name
all over the moon
and only if i could
tear my heart open and gift it to you
may be you'll understand then

Give Me More

I laid it down beside me
just an hour ago.
It seems I must have lost it,
or dropped it on the floor.

Why does it seem so hard
to keep it in my grasp?
I never seem to find it, where
I thought I used it last.

Now, where was it on Tuesday?
I NEVER seem to know!
The thought of it just comes to me
right when I want it most.

I needed it last weekend
but my daughter came too late.
I wanted her to see it
when my grandson came to play.

My friend around the corner
always has hers when
the time comes she must use it.
I think she must have ten!

The pastor’s wife found hers one day,
just in the nick of time.
She always has it with her now.
“O’ Lord, where’d I put mine?”

I’ve looked inside the breadbox
and underneath my bed.
It wasn’t in the basement, now
My face is turning RED!!

“O’ Lord, I’m tired and flustered,
back where I’ve been before.
I’ve lost MY PATIENCE once again.
Oh Please, just give me more”!

You'Ve Lost Your Desire and Your Will Power

You’ve lost your desire and your will power

Written By Dean Masciarelli

September 14, 2010 (3:08pm)

You’ve lost your desire and your will power

And you just don’t want to be here anymore

Because you’ve been living in your darkest hour

And you want everything to end so that it can be over

But listen you’ve got to get yourself back together

Because there is so much more for you to live for

Just let the good Lord lift the weight
of the world off of your shoulders

And I promise you that you will feel a lot better

Because there is still a purpose and a meaning for you to be here

A boy can drop everything for girls, his initial joy,
kissing lips, most now only playing, quickly run,
some take upsets very weakly except you, Zebulon.

Languishing lurid lives from lost innocence
is not a good thing for grown guys and gals.
Peer pressure pushes the inner conscience,
it curbs, questions, considers and corrals.
Some likely live licentious independence,
others stop, sort out, apply tenets of morals.

Hope Gone To Another

Surly we haven’t lost all reason and deity to her
The one who bathes and feeds our souls
Surly we haven’t knocked and
Rambled the pillars four? The ones we waste and stir
Alone by night the breathing is shallow to her.

Surly the earth isn’t lost to the killing machines we erect
The immaculate and wholesome nature of the pool pur-fect
Our inner waste of souls demise
Too perfect and proven in time and time, we only decide
The choices to find a deity in minds that wastefully hide.

Secrecy and lies rise in un born likewise of mind
All that I find, is another one very unlike in all aspects
Unknown and unacknowledged facts
They create sounds alien to our soul and ears
Out of fear, we reject life’s unsought refurnished finds

To boast and crawl away to a selfishness of tomorrow
Wonder around in the deepest sorrow, blankness that draws a memory
Of hurt and un sought of pride so timidly
Speak quiet for soon all hope will leave for another
She the daughter of selfishness, and lies of devotion that draw sorrows
