Tale of the Dog That Licked Me (A Memoriam)

Poor old Sammy warming his tired bones in the morning sun
the passing car excited him so he forgot his age and tried to run

I got his breakfast ready something easy to chew with an added treat
placing his bowl within easy reach in time he comes to his feet to eat

I stroke his head and I am moved to reflect on the passing of time
In dog years he is as old as dirt surely neither of us are in our prime

Yesterday he could run like a little quarter horse doing what a dog does best
Today he contents him self with short walks, gentle play and plenty of rest

When he barks in his sleep his paws are on the run
running and barking in his dream just having fun.

He’s a Weimaraner in love with a Great Dane her legs go all the way up
love is blind and he’s out of his league but that would be a beautiful pup

As he guards our home all nobel nosed wearing that doggy grin
I like to think his daydreams are of things that might have been

In Memory of our beloved Samson

Licked

As you licked my finger tip
I was intrigued
As you sucked my finger nice and slow
Bliss evolved a dream
As you chewed upon my ear
For a moment I almost believed
But as I looked into your eyes
Saw what your tongue couldn't hide
I fell asleep

Luke’s licking up sweet Haagen Dazs
He’d smothered it over my ass
Our sex life is dreamy
Luke loves getting creamy
On desserts we will never pass!

The Bum Sniffer Then Licked My Face

She's home, She's home
I'm no longer alone
I'll show her I love her
 she'll put down her phone
With a jump and a lick
Maybe do a small trick
She'll get out my lead, but remind me
"Well have to be quick"

I see them, I see them
But wait who is that
The one standing there
With the captivating stare

They're not as fast as me
But its fun just to see
We roll over backwards
nose's face plant the grass
Rufus the big soppy softy
But looks mean and harsh

If only she'd walk over
I could sniff her bum
No not just for fun!
I could tell if we've ever met before
I think we have but i'm not quite sure

Curiosity gets the better of me
I dash over to her at lightning speed
I sniff her nose, her ears and toes
Shall i attempt it
OK, here goe's
But shes already there
the one with the stare
She then licked my face
And showed no grace
Pinning me to the floor
It happened with such haste
Now I remember
We have met before
Shes the one with the smelly paw.

I Licked the Knife

I licked the knife, oh heavens
never in my life have I ever licked a knife
But that glob of peanut butter clinging
to my empty tummy was loudly singing
and I felt myself bringing it to my lips
Open wide was the chorus, and greed
stood before us in the form of glorious
PEANUT BUTTER
and
I
licked that knife!

like puffy clouds
moist from a succulent peach
sunlight on shower fresh face
luscious, nectar covered lips
softly licked
tender explorations
prelude to the day
