Quite often our interactions bring nothing but misery.
Misguided our intentions.  Elusive our logic.  Making
Mountains out of nothing.  Singing songs without
arrangement.  Overdue on every promise.

Every posture so misleading.  So far
can we be thrown.  Even less be trusted.

my twin sister and I speak almost every day
saying the same things over and over

we call our brother on his birthday
he never answers
but he will text back
