More Than Machines... Face to face they stand Brain to brain Two-eyed flesh machine And one-eyed plastic terminal Interacting systems Inputting, outputting, precious data. Face to face they sit A complex team Driven to perform With error-free precision In a controlled mini-world Ruled by instant communication. Face to face they lie Worlds apart Stark, cold plastic eye Flashing programmed data; Warm, sentimental flesh eyes Flashing non-programmable twinkles. Sandra, a very well written poem about technology like Jerry said children are born now with the mouse in their hands. I know for one am addicted to the computer it's a shame that I get a lot of research from it. A seven blessings dear friend Eve

You summarized what is happening these days. Children are born with a mouse in their hand. I do hope that they will have a chance to find human touches and feelings and not completely depend on the computer for their outlook and their thoughts on life.
