Peering beyond reach of human capacity
I revolve around the sun in a solar orbit,
Looking deep in space for origins of bygone
Going way beyond anyone has ever gone,
Exploring unknown world of astronomy
Searching light from first stars and galaxies
Traversing back in time where it all began,
Forming our universe after the Big-Bang.

Some 13.6 billion light-years my eyes reach,
Studying evolution, formation of galaxies,
Vast, colorful, mysterious shapes and sizes,
Eying origins of life and planetary systems
Probing, discovering, unfathomable infinity,
For one light-year equals six trillion miles~
A feat, only for the confidence of audacity.

I capture images spectacular to every sight,
Viewing light that is invisible to human eye
Locating nebulae, gas planets, dust clouds,
Collision of galaxies where stars are born,
Traversing back in time where it all began,
Probing galactic universe~ terra incognita.

No longer a phantasy, I am real as can be,
An eye of science and a mind of curiosity,
Intellectual tenacity and proof of ingenuity,
In acumen and wisdom of Astrophysicists,
I am the bold vision of infrared astronomy,
I am the flight vying hypnotic destination
Buoying on wings of scholarly inspiration.

Much is yet undone, for I have just begun,
Orbiting diligently until my work is done,
Until dreams become reality of my mission.

For insight into creation, I am the ray of hope~
I am the James Webb Space Telescope.

A Kiss

she leans back and points bare toes at clouds
chains creak their rhythmic squeak, hypnotic loud
taken aback, her hair sails slipstream flung
downstream freedom for a moment hung
in mid-air - earth's force gives up its grip
hands sweat, hold tight, they cannot slip...
underneath, grave ground drops and falls away
above, a fraction weightless, she holds sway
swing's song suckle drugs her hungry mind
lids close, sun glows infrared behind
pushed ahead, prow barges coldest breeze -
heady heights drop back to life's sleeze- tease
whistle warns soft shots across neck's nape -
a tug towards untimely no escape
pendulum head, concave waver rocks it
self gives way to backbone's growing grit
back or forth, the dipper croons reprieves unbought
no more a cradle - ladle, once more sought
after - alter course - alter - falter, first
of all, go back, bold, and slake high spirit's thirst

looming dark dips her fears in far off stars'
molten matter - fired white hot globes unbar
eternal flames, external spin as atoms swim
in ether - her thoughts burn bright just for Him

now's the time, now's the place, blown up sky high -
now's the time to kiss the shattered sky.

"Righteousness and Peace - they have kissed each other. " ( the connection of the two will be as evident to all as is the close association of affectionate friends...) Figuratively, a kiss could represent a demonstration of respect and devotion, and often served as a token of affection.

Light, defined as electromagnet,
radiation; photon particles
Natural visible light: with intensity, and frequency
Light wavelength spectrum / polarization propagation

People pleasure and preen at the beach with sunny sun tanning
Sunlight illuminates Mountain trails for bicycling and trekking
Sunsets have lavender with orange bright beams extending
Solar sunrays light a day of picnic park fun with joyful frolicking

Some of the light spectrum is radio, white light, ultraviolet and x-rays
Infrared is only heat visible and gamma-rays are the most powerful
Small lasers are used in disk drives, printers, and fiber-optics
Fiber-optic networks is light fast digital information system

TV plasma, liquid crystal displays, LEDs light-emitting diodes gives visuals
These assist our everyday visual optic neural perceptions
Cars have headlights and ships use fog-lights
Light-towers have flood-lights and we use handy flashlights

Tesla and Edison partook in the light bulb’s invention
Lewis Latimer and Joseph Nichol invented its carbon filament
This did dispel much of the world’s nighttime darkness
Lightning lights reveal a charge of the negative and positive

Colors of violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, red: are in white light
Some colors viewed when seeing a rainbow over a dewy meadow
What can be possibly seen at the other end of a rainbow
This but to note God’s faithful abatement covenant

Starlight is continually being reflected and refracted
Earth and the Heavens is lit up by starry Star Lights
Great Stars round and renowned, in balance and equilibrium
They are fiery fireballs very luminous and bright

Stars dispersing their photon particles at light speed
"Light speed, “299,792,458 meters per second"
Light, is a part of the equation “E=MC squared”
“Energy,” not made, nor annihilated, yet always in flux

Insisting one might was well be dead
Feasting upon dark emotional words
This is how the young have been led
Magnetic this compass for the birds

Drawing them all in by the herds

By misusing the cognitive science

the ether is alive with oscillations
          pulsations and electric frequencies
              satellite and shortwave intonations
invisible, yet carried on the breeze

neutrinos and photonic modulations
          infrared and x-rays, promptly spun
               ultraviolet streams and applications
gamma rays and ions from the sun

ozone filled with radio transmission
          microwaves pass thru us constantly
the residues of past nuclear fission
all that we have yet perceived to "be"

I've always had an issue with believing
          the paranormal "ghosts" phenomenon
yet, with all the atmosphere's receiving
who am I to say what's here ... or gone?

The Daredevil Rescue

Stranded in war torn Sudan,
Dreading yet another dawn.
In Wadi Sayyidna town,
Hopelessness was weighing down.

Men and women, young and old,
Watched the civil war unfold.
Homeless, desperate, full of fear,
Longing for their near and dear.

Then on 27th April night,
A C-130J took flight.
Manned by pilots skilled and brave,
Tasked to rescue and to save.

They were flying almost blind,
No navigation aids would they find.
Degraded strip, no landing lights
In the darkness of the night.

Infrared sensors scanned the ground;
No inimical force was found.
Using goggles for night vision,
Thay carried out their tough mission.

An enthralling tale had begun;
Six score passengers and one
Shepherded onto the plane.
Headed for their homes again.

Valor of the highest kind,
Audacity was redefined.
The Hercules and its brave crew
Achieved a feat of derring-do.

India's vaunted military might,
Wrote another chapter bright
In our valiant history;
There for all the world to see.

All was lovingly created by the Master's hand,
With colors shouting out beauty from every land,
Each one perceived, according to His true light,
Like the full view of stars on a clear night!

A spectrum of colors was splashed everywhere,
Including those we can not perceive are there.
Such as beautiful ultraviolet, and warm infrared,
Which is everywhere around us, behind and ahead!

The Master Painter's works are so well wrought,
Like pink rose petals scattered along the sidewalk.
And blooms of color throughout all pretty seasons,
Need no particular cause, nor any special reason!

Blueberry Boat

BLUEBERRY BOAT

I’m going to sea in a blueberry boat
With cellophane sails on cinnamon mast
It could be cold so I’ll take a coat
And In case of a leak some Elastoplast

We shall sail on seas of blueberry blue
with never a clash and no mismatch
You will hardly see us unless you view
With spectacles infrared attach

When cauliflower clouds are in the sky
They shall give us a satiating entree
Then of course the dessert will be blueberry pie
With a creamy cumulus topping soufle

I’ll send you a postcard wherever we land
On finest rice paper so you can then eat
my words, I can recommend them and
You will have a conscience that’s clear and sweet

A life on the sea may not be all calm
The weather can lead you a merry dance
But in case of storms I will have no qualm
With a spare pair of blueberry underpants

So to all you jack tars I say ahoy!
With a yo ho ho and avast below!
When you’re near come across on a breeches buoy
Share blueberry rum on our little bateau

Poetic Justice

I look inside you
I step inside then
Well, well, look what I find here

Is this place Hell
Where my steps have led me
She calls me the Devil
Well that sounds just like him

Comteplations of direct hits
Night Marches regardless
If I’m the Archer or the target
Your still a part of
The weapons aimed in my direction

Shells, Shields, Force fields
Special Forces
Black opts, Black Hawks
Solid truths in soft words
Infrared, GPS, global positional satellites
Inferred here, I’m speaking from the third person

a glutton for punishment, a fly in the ointment
there are no flies on somebody
I’m Dynamic, I’m a driving force
I’m vigorous, full of energy, poetically spoken I got a purpose
Poetic Justice
Poet Destroyer
I tell you in Latin, I’m Acinonyx jubatus
Imma Cheetah
My words travel faster than a Leopard
I ain't no follower, I ain't no lemming
A Legend lends itself to something
Legitimately speaking

“To the system, I speak into the Universe
In the light years I splash and play in”

Empyreal Heart and Soul

O Nebulae of Heart and Soul!
In infrared portrayal WISE,
your colors grace the stellar skies.
Have you a core celestial role?

Supernal presences you seem
that steal one’s fancy unawares,
far-off from earthly human cares,
inspiring a soulful dream.

Does music of the spheres resound
in utterness of heavens’ art
to beating of a boundless heart
we seldom hear here on the ground?

You bring to mind the vintage song,
where lovers fell in love and kissed
one magic night in moonlit mist—
a classic tune, still going strong.

Six thousand light-years from our Earth
is where you two evince your charm—
part of Perseus’ spiral arm—
in cosmic womb for starry birth.

That limb is in our Milky Way.
Cassiopeia holds the Soul
east of the Heart, to make the whole
of the mosaic on display.

Your archetypal names evoke
Cupid and Psyche myths of old,
tales allegorical untold,
poetic visions you awoke.

In concert you’re a perfect pair.
Befittingly you reign on high.
Lest we forget wherefore and why,
our true humanity is there!

Inspiration for the poem came from the image and article “Heart and Soul”... at [www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/WISE/multimedia/wiseimage20100524.html]

[The Heart and Soul Nebulae are seen in this infrared mosaic from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE. All four infrared detectors aboard WISE were used to make this image. Color is representational: blue and cyan represent infrared light at wavelengths of 3.4 and 4.6 microns, which is dominated by light from stars. Green and red represent light at 12 and 22 microns, which is mostly light from warm dust.]

Mad Shadows

Mad shadows dance in the corners of my room
See them sink like paint into the walls
Hellfire! If they had caught me unawares
Where’s the game in that, my friends, I’d be dead but

I have eyes in the back of my head.

All shades have names, and histories, too
Once crouched like me in shells banded by light,
All definition’s now gone, sparest contrast, and color
Imperceptible new moon black, ultraviolet, infrared…I know, for

I have eyes in the back of my head.

Ragged words, a crone’s alkaline snicker,
What do they know, what have they learned, what secrets
Have they witnessed with a hanging jury’s bored deliberation
Though I have smoked their schemes, in my dreamless bed

I have their eyes on the back of my head.

Hospital

HOSPITAL

A new energy-incarnates

rips, knocking head first

hoarse cry …

oh dim light knife in the pupil !

oh metallic ice bath on the bloody skin !

oh great fall into void ! ...

night - endless night -

roof-quasar fleeing fast

How can a mother in anesthesia vapor

touch the lonely cry of the child…?

How can the useless little hands

swim back towards the warm amniotic ocean?

Oh separating body!!
An own spirit has been given to each body

Each hermit has received his load

The hospital doors are wide open

two shaking wanderers re-learn to walk

and welcome the new light full of painful noise

Hospital, you have injected energy into living matter !

In the middle of the road

a tumor seeds chaotic entropy

a stressed body has lost its order

the immune system army runs scattered …

the patient

is a silent moan between two worlds

is a collapse dragged through naked corridors

In the operating room

energy spreads its huge wings

and dances on a tightrope

Perhaps the traveler

will cry through his salty blisters

the sea will bathe him, returning him to the first cell

the sun will toast two bodies

in total loving embrace

with ultraviolet caress and infrared

Purple Nirvana Journal

‘PURPLE NIRVANA JOURNAL’
Dedicated to the legendary Kurt Cobain—(20 February 1967—5 April 1994)

“What else could I write—I don’t have the right.....”
Words are a big pile of contradiction—split down the middle, sincerity and fiction
Feelings we have, sarcastic rebuttals—bohemian clichés exhausted and shuffled
Finding my nest of salt—every word an imperfection, fault, defected assault
Translated opinions an obvious search—proof of intelligence wasted besmirch

“I’m not like them, but I could pretend—the sun is gone but I have a light...”
An infrared light will stimulate the sun in winter—when darkness comes everything splinters
Infinity does not exist mathematics is based on ten—numeral variations create a retrogressive pen
To be forever positive ignores all that represents significance, value sanctified
To be ceaselessly negative threatens derision creating instant credibility nullified

“I wish I was like you-- easily amused... I’ll take all the blame... Aqua sea-foam shame...”
Talk to your friends, they will offer you lists--- remedies already tried, they don’t exist
Translated opinions are apparent attempts investigating proof of intelligence
Abusive, obscure descriptive words—a desperate expression, sincere but seldom heard
We stare at the sky with petrified vision—clouded images of a purple collision
Sunburn, frostbite, prevailing bronze star-- noteworthy disfigurement scar
All in all is all we are.....

Her Eyes

Her Eyes
Have you seen how ravishing is a pearl
Inside the mouth of a shell?
How it illuminates underneath the sea,
Imagine if it had a pupil and iris as well.
Her Eyes!!!!
So big they could see right through your bones.
A glance into her eyes I could feel my heart depart my soul
As I see the reflection of my heart displayed in her eyes,
At that moment God put an infrared between my heart and her eyes,
I mean how can eyes vacuum my emotions without touching my flesh.
Her Eyes!!!
Angelic, enchanting and prepossessing.
Makes her whole face appear alluring and captivating.
Beauty that makes atheist believe she’s a Goddess.
Roses wish to be watered with her tears as a beauty process.
But where does a poor writer like me fit in?
If I handed her my eyes would she look in?
Her Eyes!!!
An oxymoron of good and bad to my own.
Her Eyes!!!
A lonely demeanor to my soul.
Her Eyes!!!
Makes a cold room feel hot.
If I make a proposal will she accept it or not?
I wanna be part of her eye,
Like a sclera be with her everyday and night
And maybe behind my darkness she could see the light,
Because her eyes is light.
