Best In The Mind Poems
Dream schemes play across the screen
And third eye examines them,
Ever so closely; tonight,
Another etheric flight;
Will show me new horizons
And the beings that dwell there;
The archetypes and images.
Scenes play out in colors,
Shadows weave their magic;
I am inundated.
Visiting spirits came,
Just to bid me adieu;
My guides know what I need.
Somewhere the light starts,
To glow; a pinpoint,
Growing as it moves
Toward each scene, shines;
Revealing wisdom.
A dream is an
Education;
Dream and wisdom
Will come to you.
Dreaming mind,
Subconscious,
Library.
Dream long
And deep;
Dream.
I saw your blue eyes, so gentle and kind
Some things we see, leave imprints in memory
Like a treasure, forever, in your mind
A gentle touch, lasts forever freely
Unexpected hugs can highlight a day
Some things we see, leave imprints in memory
We may bashfully not know what to say
So many things touch our soul and heart
Unexpected hugs can highlight a day
Distance stirs emptiness deeply, apart
Cherish all genuine, that you may share
So many things touch our soul and heart
Cast as far as you can to show you care
It’s a smile, that moment strikes, you’ll see
Cherish all genuine that you may share
Surprises are found in simplicity
I saw your blue eyes, so gentle and kind
It’s a smile, that moment strikes, you’ll see
Like a treasure, forever, in your mind

a mosaic
simplified
pleasing&lovely
compacta with everlasting
sweetness
of heart shaped love
glowing flugens red umbels
of agape
before
withering away
in a forgotten
wreath
in a sky
out of reach
barren&unfertile
yet
unfading
a tricoleur
to brighten the eyes
ornamental foliage
drifts
upon the breeze
a briza of beauty
a catalyst
for pleasure
so pungent
so delicious
so exquisite
flowering in the mind

embracing
the minimalist
to illuminate
to highlight
the golden threads
of the whole
cosmos
in a celebration
of darkness&light
glistening
with sensitivity
bringing
clarity
a sense of purpose
nimbly
dancing

The Life of the Mind is extolled by Professors
Though when they think, they just guess or
perhaps idly chatter
There are some who won't use their brawn
And 'brainiacs' who won't mow the lawn
Others say 'they'll work with their Hands'
as if hands are not directed by the Mind of Man
All this, so far's neither here nor there
Here's what I assure you
Presuming you care
Reality is WHAT you perceive it to be
Perception's HOW you see it, subjectively
Life's In the Mind
'Tis the Mind makes it live
That is the Truth
Which Experience Gives
The poem in the mind
There is only enough space in my mind
For just a poem and there you I find
Can’t think of another thing
My mind singing what you sing
To all else except you I’m rather blind.
I know you are an involved mom of six
And what toll it takes bringing up those chicks
On your spirit and body
Your life was never gaudy
But the essence of such a gracious mix.
Adorable are your traits which are rare
Attributes, six, are your children so fair
They are love, care and beauty
Passion, power and frailty
Here’s the perfect woman beyond compare.

It's all in the mind to be remembered,
Layers in time to be rediscovered.
Memories are vivid colours, either
Good or bad, like shiny specks spread through time,
Permeating and embossing a life.
Pause and consider, it's all in the mind.
Hidden deep and quiet, you can fall
Through a hole in your own reality,
Seeking to rescue tenuous treasures
From the deep pockets of experience.
These live on in the darkness, though pockets
Age into holes, but it's all in the mind.
The mind is a dark, untidy cupboard
To be sorted out on a rainy day,
Just very gently. Its recesses hold
The memories of a lifetime in trust,
Carefully interleaved with the days
From the beginning. It's all in the mind.
Crying Loudly but its all in my head,
The expression you see is a smile instead,
But if you look deep in my eyes they will tell you a tale
About how my appearance became so frail.
For the people around me I put on an act,
To hide the truth of control my life lacked.
Inside I am weak, Helpless and cold,
I feel Ive no-one to comfort me,no-one to hold.
I pace up, down and around my bed,
Trying to clear my head,
But inside my mind where the voices hide
I listened to what they said.
The noises I hear are the voices I fear,
I cannot drown out the sound.
Palms sweating and my heart is racing,
Collapsing to the ground.
Chest tightening...I cannot breathe, My visions turning black,
Here again on my own suffering another Panic Attack!
Hot chillies with false pork cooked in fat,
Deserved a second serving of that;
As he put down the dish,
The waiter stated “I wish
more Aussies like you would eat rat.”
Being in the mind of a savage.
All I know is how to act ferociously.
Manipulating the minds of the weak, fearful, and the victims.
Beating them into submissive.
Emasculating the strongest, just to see him break.
Dismiss him of his role, and never to see his family again.
Being in the mind of a savage.
I destroy, divide, and conquer.
tearing families apart.
Over yonder, as they scream,
begging to be saved
but nobody hears them.
Breaking the spirits of the koons, mannu, aunty, sambo,
and the uncle toms, as they all have a common factor.
They're all nostalgia.
The animal within me is untamed, uncontrollable, and inhumane.
I'm superior by nature, at least what I see.
Being in the mind of a savage.
What you call crimes are white privileges to me,
justification, rationalisation, & beliefs
set me free each time.
All I know is to kill, steal, destroy, & reverse the cycle of genetics.
I changed their culture,
to fear, tough love, attitude, punishment, violence & a career.
Sabotage the mind, break em' down, then bob the builder em'.
When you stop em' for believing in themselves,
oppression appears.
Being in the mind of a savage.
Other savages, keep em' isolated, uneducated, impoverished and oppressed. There's a few who escapes but we own them too.
We love to be entertained, as we mock, advertise, and stereotype em'. Less sensation and lacking sensitiveness
in the terminal fibers, keeps me acting viciously.
Unintelligent, laziness, frightfulness, ignorance, backwardness, violent, inarticulate, sexual frustrated, hunger, inattentive, unable to control themselves, & in care of, are all the signs of a n****.
Created a cultural matrix of positive
and negative feelings for me,
and each time, I justify my actions by logical reasoning with em'.
Ohhh, forgiving are they. Just to do it once more, and that once more became many more.
Being in the mind of a savage.
If any shall become bold, intimidating or become a threat, we shall lynch you.
Propaganda, genocide, & economics are all profits for the savages.
Paternalism plays a major role as
terrorizing and restrain are easily justified.
Keep em' from achieving social equality
as they become more bumptious on the streets.
Being in the mind of a savage.
I couldn't help but notice
that the dead wood
in society when gathered
could make quite a bonfire
if only one could collect it
but my kindling
had been eaten
by the termites
and so the rot
gets hold of more
and more
until we all rot
Yes, yes, his siblings are long deceased
though there are no graveyards in the mind
He relives their quarrels each night in dreams
struggling, in vain, to flee nightmares unkind
By day, his two sisters whimper, one in each ear
by night, their fury they roar, magnifying his fears...
No, no, there aren't any graveyards in the mind
just brows deeply furrowed, faces etched with lines
It's All In The Mind
The darkest corners of my room are
Trembling from rumblings past, as usual
As if they shook the shelves, dropped
The clutter; it broke the spell
Below the bed is a monstrosity
He doesn't come out, afraid much
Only peeks his head out
During the thunderstorms
He's bewildered about
Lightning strikes the roof above, and I wonder-
was there ever a day with snow; sun and dark collide eternal
Screwing up the clock internal
Making night a hell infernal
Pushing through the sun immobile
Parting dawn in halves eternal
So let us have our snow
Let us imprint angels on the white
Or play with snowballs in the light
Keep us on the ice
Far removed from
The darkest corners of my room
Today I thought of thought itself,
of all its joys and failings
to be sure, but mostly of the
wonder that they take me to,
the countless things that open
to my sight in ways that I had
never seen before.
I need not die before I see them
thunder in before me, even though
I know that death itself will not
presume to shut them down. That is
the glory of it; everyone may share.
Saints and kings will prosper
and will fall. Perhaps. But I
am just a dilettante. My putterings
are little miracles and always there
to take me through.
Oh yes, there is one caveat
and that is consciousness
but that too is a miracle
and floats upon us as a lagniappe,
totally gratuitous...hmmm
just like all the rest.

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present
you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— (?Colossians? ?1?:?21-
22? NKJV)
Estranged in the mind
By wicked works
That secure the constant lie
That even though married
We live in separate houses
God and me.
The mind lies
The mind numbs
The mind screams
The mind alienates.
But God has not moved
The covenant of promise is the reality
That overides the mind voice
Like a lighthouse sword
Fighting the constant crushing waves
But always wins
Ready for the next tide
The next wave
The mind now one with truth
Married
Lives in the same house
God and me.
I’ve seen some places in my time
So many more to see
No longer can I travel there
If only it could be...
The heathered lochs of Ireland
How could I resist
Emerald green grasses shinning
In the morning mist…
The jungles in the Amazon
Where hidden treasures lay
In leaves ’n mosses to be found
To cure all men, they say…
Great glaciers thick with icy caps
Fresh water they contain
They’re melting fast, soon to be gone
No water to remain!
For now, the photos of our world
Give pleasure to my mind
But let them stay in nature yet
To see for all mankind.
