Premium Member Six Brothers In Harmony

Every one of my five brothers
and I strive to create harmony.
Our lives are lived in parallel
yet at times we work alone.
Other times we play well together -
unity and coexistence is our goal.

A chord can bring us together
into a rich and soulful harmony.
We often seek concord in parallel
so no one is left alone;
expressive music is our end goal,
a desire shared by six brothers.

Django Reinhardt, who often played alone,
had mastery over all us brothers,
as do Los Romeros playing together,
creating a family of classical harmony.
Andrés Segovia with his ambitious goal,
worked with composer Rodrigo in parallel.

Great rock guitarists with their goal
of playing fantastic music in parallel:
Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison playing together;
the Eagles soaring in amazing harmony;
Clapton; Jimmy Page; the Allman Brothers;
or Hendrix playing incendiary solos alone.

Bring your friends, sisters and brothers
to a concert - don't come alone!
You'll meet people who have parallel
interests to your own. Dance together
as music plays. Our common goal
should be brotherhood and world harmony!

Each string of a guitar, alone
can make a melody. But harmony
exists only by functioning in parallel,
cooperatively. Let this be our goal:
for human beings to work together,
recognizing that we are all brothers.

My brothers and I aren't alone.
In parallel lives, our main goal
is to work together, making harmony.

[Sestina]

// A sestina is a non-rhyming poem consisting of six six-line stanzas and a three-line envoy. The last word of each line in stanza 1 is repeated in all of the following stanzas. The envoy contains all six repeating words. To emphasize the theme of "Six Relatives", I have also made each line exactly 6 words. Additionally, I began stanzas 1-6 with the letters of the six guitar strings: E, A, D, G, B, E. One final note: the "ambitious goal" of Andrés Segovia and Joaquín Rodrigo was to make the guitar a respected instrument in the classical repertoire. They succeeded!//

Premium Member Can We Live In Harmony

You moved ever so gently over me
a tempestuous wind stirring my senses.
And I, always the nonchalant sea,
lost the ability to flow in normalcy
We were two impetuous forms of nature.
Could we ever learn to live in harmony?

You blew across my tranquil waters
spilling my treasures upon the shore.
Then your breath was stilled...
I felt the force of your presence no more.

No moon had ever governed my tides
the way your winds brushed my soul.
I'd never been so swept away,
never had I given up full control.

My waters ebbed in the wrong direction
and there was no peace upon my waves.
Is this what happens to ill-fated lovers
when their hearts bleed in watery graves?

Living In Harmony

Why is there so much hate in the world today?
Why does prejudice keep coming our way?
Why can't we learn to live with each other?
Why can't we become like sister and brother?

Everyone's not going to be just like you and me,
Learn to accept their ways and let it be.
God didn't make us all the same way,
He didn't want life to become boring from day to day.

Live and let live should be our mode and creed,
Love one another then our hearts won't ache or bleed.
Oh what pain we cause each other from time to time,
If only we could live in harmony, then our lives would rhyme.

It is not enough for Man to

Become conscious of himself:

Of his powers

Of his obligations

Of his divinity

Of his communion with the

Totality of things

And

Of the universal truth

But

It is also imperative for him to act,

According to the laws of this truth- physical or

Mental- so as Man

To live in harmony with the cosmos

Thus

The functioning of it, would never be

Disturbed by his presence, and

The harmony will be maintained

As

The Great Designer has intended to, from

The first moment of creation!

Two Hearts Beating In Harmony

Where to begin
When a bound is for life
And flies through time and space?
Meanwhile a wing hits the ground
No way to stop the clock
Nor to travel back
To that time when we knew
What we were, and how it worked

Well I know where you are father
I can see your back
Could you please see through my eyes
All this darkness inside
And shake it away
With one big warm hug
Alongside an “I’m proud of you pal”
It’s all I need today
It’d all be ok…
It’s all I want from you now

Hidden in my skin
All this words to come out
Behind a curtain of doubts
Should I do it?
Should I say it?
I miss your presence
How can I make this work?
Again… like a new chance

To reborn, come home
To that place in our hearts
That is bounded for life
An unbreakable spell
A spell cast when you first saw me
With my eyes closed
I can’t remember
But I can tell you this

I remember my heart being
Full of love and hope
It should’ve never stopped
Being that way
Like two hearts together
In one big warm hug
So smooth...

Beating in harmony.

Stardust Covered In Harmony

There's a place of sanctuary,
That shows me a face of statuary.
I would travel to the roof,
Where the moon would keep it aloof.

Lie on my back,
Set my heart to the steady track.
Falling down to my eyes,
Are the shinning stars from the skies.

Laying unto me a blanket of dust,
That the night found to me a must.
Speaking to the shadowed clouds,
While it formatted my long lost drowds.

You could peer into my eyes,
There you would see the reflection of the skies.
You'd see harmony in the lights,
Or maybe the wings of people on flights.

You could see your loved ones,
Hiding behind the face of the suns.
Look into my pupil,
See the passion asserted in dupils.

The bright night sky,
Provided me a place to fly.
Running my finger tips through it's star dust,
Flashing a smile from far to dusk.

Can you feel the magic in the air?
You can find it in the heart you wear.
Or perhaps the the world above,
Where the most magic is part of.

On your way to this journey,
Grab ahold of the night sky firmly.
And never wonder why you have nothing,
As long as you have that harmony in grip,
You may have a long fullfilling trip.

Heaven Glowing In Harmony Non-Stop

Heaven glows in, softest blue harmonizing non-stop
as it rains, they gently fall in golden teardrops.
Bold colors decorating the palaces that so shine
serenity prevails and as its loving hearts entwine.

Heaven sings about, great joy in knowing the Lord
forever to explore all, nobody ever gets bored.
Angels sing and roam about the magnificent skies
all feeling happiness there and nobody ever lies.

Heaven invites, all in faith with Father and Son
to reside in happiness there, love must be done.
Nights are lit entirely by a giant moon's glow
sweet music and dance exist in each Heavenly show.

Heaven holds dearly, words of Trinity and Love
absolute bliss reigns, insured by our God above.
No deep malice or dark ill will dares to invade
all is a celestial picnic and resting in the shade.

Heaven fulfills dreams, each a joy that is profound
circle of contentment exists, forever deep and round
Each thought a miracle, blessings arrive every hour
all rests in safety no need for a tall castle tower.

Strangers In Harmony

Strangers in harmony

Strangers you and I would be
were not a glance of affection be,
our eyes have crossed and smiles returned,
a fragment of silence, a moment cloud nine

Unwritten laws of chemistry spoke,
combustion conferred united a spark
our distance an ark a rainbow us struck,
the universe chose our auras be touched.

So blissful the day remember me
your heart search my pulse in synchrony
as footprints engrave thy carbon of spirit
devoted to thee my love has to be

Back In Harmony

Shards of oblivion
Life in a dice
Annoying nudges
Approaching self reproach

Bent on levity
Head on a plate
Empurpling serenity
Instigating the triumph

Sigh for a sigh
A poke in the rib
Brows and gestures
Counting colours and calories

Back in harmony
Five thousand light years from the void
Ardent feelings of love
Happier than thou

Back in harmony
Particular measures pleasures and treasures
Hands in air
We own the sky

Back in harmony
Unchained melody and a crazy pose
Beautifully unconventional
Idly loafing

Sisters In Harmony

Beautiful music pouring from the soul
The music in front and the keys are below

Trying out melodies and harmonies alike
Playing piano untill the morning light

Two peas in a pod; a bond like no other
Tied together with music and love for each other

Our fingers caress the keys with a flourish
Our hunger for music is that which we nourish

But even if music should come to an end
I'm glad the piano has brought me a friend

The prerequisite,

To live in harmony with one another,

Is

To learn to live in harmony with ourselves, first,

Which

Is impossible, if love for our God, is not burning

In our hearts!

In harmony with nature

Gently smile along when the flowers grin;
Freely fly along when butterflies glide
Divulge the veiled exuberance within;
Set your worldly tribulations aside.

Pace along with ever ebullient breeze;
Crazily dance along with the bumblebees;
Snatch the heavenly rhythm of singing trees;
Make your earthly edginess smoothly flee.

Grow along with those pretty little sprout
pierce the rigid barrier , make own route;
Walk along with a trail of busy ants,
overhear them reciting success chants.

Live in harmony with nature ever,
for she will teach life lessons forever;

Birds In Harmony

Of the countless mass of birds in the air,
There is more than enough space without warfare.
Birds have the option to walk, run, and fly as their mode of transportation.
There is harmony and teamwork as they fly in perfect formation.

If only we consider how the sky is free of tyranny.
How the Hawk, the owl, and the eagle all share the sky in tranquility.
A bird with a helmet and rifle has never been seen.
They all share the sky in peace over mountains high and valley green.

Premium Member Emptyness In Harmony

He listens to fountains of desiccated tears in the desert of his mind

Tastes echoes of vacant sounds from the soul of dissonant void

Disintegrated unison reaches out to his blind visons' flashing blisters

He smells feelings of decay pumping in heart failure’s congestion

The hallowed devil dances in Valhalla and consecrates cacophony

Until the clock strikes midnight in the no man’s land of no return

Blinded by detection deafened in awareness he retreats into his shell

Returns to the safety of shibboleth’s indecisive loneliness

With what remains of distant passion he gathers cinder’s fragments

Strikes a match from heaven and listens to the wood worms crackling

The ‘bonne’ fire raises his spirits in a fluent synthesis of emulated immolation

Finally he throws caution to the flames and feels the heat again
