A Harvest of Music

The orchestra gathered under the dome
Audience awaiting the pure joy to come.
Descending silence alerting the senses.
Arrive the maestro, and magic commences.

Trombone and trumpet burst forth with feeling.
Explosion of sound, set senses reeling.
Tuba and French horn now adding their voice,
Uniting as one to delight and rejoice.

Soft music flowing, a leaf in a stream,
Catching the ear in a heavenly dream,
Rising and soaring, empowered of wings,
A dream maker's touch and violin sings.

With long curving bow caressing the strings,
Hair hiding her face, an angel, she brings
The music of angels, rafters invading
Haunting blue notes from cello cascading.

Clarinet cadenza, clear fluid tones
Tugging the heartstrings, embracing the bones.
Filling the dome, ethereal splendour
Fading away, celestial wonder.

Percussion take hold, no longer hidden
Cymbals and side drum do as they're bidden,
Crashing and booming, sound finding its berth
Pulling the listener back down to the earth.

Thunderous applause with standing ovation.
The crowd full of rapture capture elation,
A feast for the soul, a prayer with no word
A harvest of music, to honour the Lord.

Heavy Metal Music

Listening to heavy metal music is so awesome, it's like I'm in a mosh pit. It's also as if
I'm at an underground concert in New york City, on Saturday nights. When I'm listening to
a lot of metal music, it's like being in a giant pit of inferno. I can feel the adrenaline
through my brainwaves. And when I listen to the music, I also feel the rush throughout my
veins. If there's a heavy metal concert was in town, this is going to be like an
underground concert for all of the underdogs where the mayhem is really happening. The
guitars, the amps, drums, and the bands; they're all very entertaining. I put in a heavy
metal music CD in a CD player, I press "play," and when the music plays, it will be like a
headbangers festival in North Hollywood, California. And with a lot of heavy metal albums
that I were to own, this will be like a real house party.

Indie-Rock Music

What's so great about listening to a lot of indie-rock music is when I'm around a huge
crowd. And if I were in an indie-rock band then I'd be touring around the United States
and all of Canada, especially Toronto. It's a mixture of modern rock music, classic rock
music, and Canadian rock music. When I listen to some indie-rock music, it's like I'm at a
mini concert at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, California. It's also as if I were to
have been featured on an episode of "Radio Free Roscoe" on Teen-Nick (formally The-N). Not
only am I an Alexz Johnson fan, I'm also a fan of Skye Sweetnam and Fefe Dobson.
Indie-rock music is so rad, so cool, so amazing, it's like going to a skate park on a
Saturday afternoon, especially for a lot of skateboarders. I think that everybody could
get use to listening to a lot of indie-rock music. And with a lot of indie-rock music and
bands and stuff, this should be great.

Tina Turner

Tina Turner is, and will always be, the greatest female rock star of the 1980s to the 21st
century. All the rock music fans know that her real name was Anna Mae Bulllock. Her music
was so entertaining, it's like going to a mini-rock concert in Los Angeles, California,
circa 1983. It's also as if I'm going to a house party in North Hollywood. Although she
was of R & B (rhythm and blues) descent, she did rule the rock music scene from 1984 to
1998. Her greatest songs, like, "What's Love Got To Do With It," "Private Dancer," "Simply
The Best," "Proud Mary," and "Proud Mary" were the greatest songs of all time. I'm glad
Ms. Turner's been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame with her abusive
ex-husband, Ike Turner. But if I were to induct Tina Turner into the rock and hall of fame
along with the other female rock stars in the near future, she'll be very excited.

Music Lover

Music is cool,
music is loud,
music is sweet,
it rocks me to the beat.

I love how they sound
music is awsome
when its played to the crowd
Everyone gather to hear
a sweet symphony so clear

Take drums, guitars, or any music instrament
Take your heart and soul, use your head
make music come out to hear

Music inspires you to write,
to sing, dance, or take flight.
Music is for everyone,
but music is for me.

That Was Rock and Roll

Bill Haley gave us 'Rock Around The Clock'
showed us music in a different way,
Chuck Berry sang 'Johnny B. Goode'
and Buddy Holly said 'That'll Be The Day'.

Elvis went to 'Heartbreak Hotel'
and came back as the king of pop,
Jerry Lee sent us 'Great Balls Of Fire'
while Danny and his group were 'At The Hop'.

The Everly's were saying 'Bye Bye Love'
Bobby Darin was out 'Beyond The Sea',
Little Richard was with 'Long Tall Sally'
and Lloyd Price thought he was 'Stagger Lee'.

Paul Anka introduced us to 'Diana'
Del Shannon told us of his 'Runaway',
Big Bopper talked about 'Chantilly lace'
and the Rolling Stones said love 'Not Fade Away'.

Eddie Cochran took 'Three Steps To Heaven'
Don McLain made 'American Pies',
Roy Orbison was still lost 'In Dreams'
as the Platters sang 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes'.

When the music began to change
jazz, blues and rock and roll,
got more electronic and louder
became rock, heavy metal and soul.

There are a lot more I could name
but I guess I'll just call them the rest,
It's a long time ago but I'll never forget
Rock and Roll for me was the best.

Premium Member Music Feeds My Spirit

I was told that as a babe, I would endlessly cry
And nearly drove my Mother out of her mind
No one knew the reason why, as I had loving care
Soon, it was discovered that music brought much relief
During early childhood, learning to play the piano
A true delight to the nuns, who then gave me lessons- free
Later, singing with choirs at different stages of life
I was known to forego more pressing things than music
I found then as I do today, music still accentuates my moods
My spirit cliings to notes as climbing scales
That reach quite unimaginable heights
Which brings me to my feet or invite unabashed tears

In the darkest of times when sadness reigns
When joy is unrestrained; or solitude embrace
Through moments of serenity and various shadings of time
Music, like life's blood flows, brings all that I need
There was a time in my teens, I could easily choose a favorite genre
My tastes have since broadened and I relish many more
I still listen to Luther and my heart melts to his soulful tone
And when I hear Casting Crowns, my soul craves angels' wings
Andrea Boccelli and Il Divo with their operatic pop
Bring a smorgashbord of emotions from canyons within
'Though this is no fact, just my humble imagination, I believe
Music is life and life is music; that neither will ever come to an end
Both will keep refining, reaching that source of perfection
God's animated creation, it seems, bears musical notes
Together, intrinsically designed to sustain and evolve

Hayley Williams

Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams is the best female rock star of all time. She has
beautiful red hair. As a matter fact, she's not bad for a beautiful attractive redhead.
Her music is so wild, so entertaining, it's like going to a rock music festival in West
Hollywood, CA. I love the way she rocks the stage, even when Paramore's on tour. As of
now, I find Hayley Williams very attractive, and she's kind of cute for a redhead. I've
got one Paramore CD, Riot, but not the other two, but I've also seen all Paranore music
videos, and all four (4) of them are, "That's What You Get," "Ignorance,"
"Crushcrushcrush," and "Misery Business." Hayley's awesome and talented, compare to all of
the female rock stars. If I were to go to a Paramore concert, and I had a backstage pass,
the only person I'd like like to meet is the lead singer of Paramore, Hayley Williams.
She's got a future in being one of the legendary female rock stars soon, and I hope she
gets inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in the near future. She's got real
potential. If I see Hayley Williams in person, then I'd ask her out on a date, even though
she already has a boyfriend. What a wonderful rock star she is.

Meditation-A Music of Soul

Mused by the rising waves of ocean
The whirls of wind gives sweet breathe.
All around nature music tries to soothe
Turning back from tumultuous world.
Few are those who actually appreciate
Rest are blessed not in unusual sense.
Meditation reflects the inner harmony
The best music of world than ever produced...

Music

Turn the music up
Let the sound blare
Watch as our problems fade away
As we get caught up in the beat

Listen to the rhythm flow
Hear the notes rise
No longer is there hurt or pain
As we set our volume on high

I will ignore hatred
I shall push aside anger
Just let my music play
Allow the audio to strike my soul

And don't even dare to turn my music down.

Soul Tunes

You almost have to be from New Orleans to understand
the mixture of the music that wails throughout the city,
It's zydeco, jazz, Cajun, classical, rhythm and blues
any combination from which you can pick and choose.

Fats Domino and Huey 'Piano' Smith live down the street
along with Harry Connick Jr, Ronnie Kole and Mac Rebenack.
Mac came to record one day missing a finger, laid down his guitar
took up piano and called himself Dr John.

You can't stop the music in New Orleans. You can't stop the musicians.
They are the soul of the city and the only time they hang up their ax
is when it's time to eat a hot plate of Red Beans and Rice, boiled crayfish,
hot boiled crabs, shucked oysters and thin fried catfish . Yum Yum

When Fats was playing in New York he called Mrs Leah Chase and said,
"Send me a hot shrimp po-boy and toast the bread crispy!"
That po-boy was on the next plane headed to the big apple.
Hence the song, "Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans"

Every bar of which there are many, too many perhaps, has music
and every establishment has excellent entertainment or they're fired.
A known New Orleans fact is "You cannot have music without food"
Hence, Soul Music and Soul Food, wipe your hands, let's dance!

Unheard Melodies

I like Crowd and like it in abundance
But not the one you like
Your Crowd has noise and noises only
Without any beauty & Music of its own.

Your Crowd is a gathering without elegance and Beauty,
It's a bunch of bodies without rhythm, music, thrill of life and Love,
It's a group of sad or shouting faces without the glimmer of peace & love,
It hardly has any smile, which can fill us with the hope of life and Love.

The mind and heart of your Crowd is neither calm, quite, nor unpolluted
If you want to feel and enjoy the silent Music and eternal beauty of a Crowd
Go to a Lake or a river or a mountain brook
Or go near a serene water stream, on a mountain top.

Here you will find in abundance
The free children of Mother Nature
Dancing with the joy of eternal beauty and love
And singing their songs with each gush of winds.

They will greet you amid the blowing wind
As if, they thrills-up by just beholding others
And raise their heads with love and eternal joy
While singing the song of unheard melodies.

Each gush of wind touch them to bloom
The showering rays of Sun, move them to smile
In the company of their dancing friends
By seeing them only you will bloom like a lotus
Amid the Crowd of singing and dancing flowers.

Summer Festivals

The summer brings out a multitude of things
from blossoming trees to colourful flowers
       onto music festivals,glastonbury showers
standing soaking dancing, but that all brings

A sense of bonding as we all in the same boat
some barely naked not possessing a coat
from Leeds to Bristol,London and France
hundreds of tents all ages will dance.

Not minding if it`s a field of soggy mudd
their taste in music blasting, that surely would
turn off the thoughts that may carry
uncomfortable attire, and happy as Larry.

Dancer

She had kneeled in the center of the stage with her head tucked under the arm
veils of her elegant gown.

The music would begin like a soft sweet drip of honey, as she began to move like a
dove in a slow motion wind.

For once again she and the music had become one.

And as many times before, she would lose the sense of having an audience.

All in her mind was music and moves.

And no music is a stranger to the dancer.

For there are no foreign moves that the dancer had not moved accross by talent.

And as many years began to pass the dancer began to stiffen, as her ageing had
begun to catch up with her, and she felt the music surpass her.

For she was still the music, yet the music was no longer her.

As her moves began to shorten, the seemingly quick pace of the music would not
move slower with her.

There had been many young dancers of whom had come and gone, yet she had
remained for the love of her talent and the music.

As the moves continued to slowly vanish, they were still in her mind like a bright
summer day, yet at hand they were gone.

And like an annual flower after bloom, she too had become wilted.

Only to die soon.

For her life like a season, had come to quick end.

Therefore, the brilliance in her talent shall live on in those few rare dancers of whom
will one day greet the end, of a blooming seasoned life of a dancer.

And the music a non-living thing, will go on past all dancers, yet to keep dancing
alive.
