Try
New things
Carry on
With good old things
Believe in yourself
Trust your inner soul
All that you have overcome
Faith in the strength you are given
The light after every dark storm
You know best for yourself in all of times

Premium Member In All the Crummy Little Barrooms of the Soul

I wait in all the crummy
little barrooms of the soul.
I look about and sniff the air,
drink, and wait.
In the demi-world of honky-tonks,
which vie against night's
inner gloom, beneath mantles
of thick smoke, pinches,
slurred speech and propositions,
I leer drunkenly about,
swimming in the haze
of my heebie-jeebies.
I wait.
After the smoke clears away
and the honky-tonk tones die,
when the scraggy light of the
morning after spreads, mustily,
across the floor,
I wait.
After the hangover,
after the aching head, glazed eyes,
belches, and specks
which move around my head in circles,
I see a different sort of light:
A flatter sort.
In the sordidness,
ergo filthy waxy sawdust on the floor,
I have seen a conjuration
which I sought.
But soon it disappears
and will not come again.
Illusion slips from mind
with lifting drunkenness
and break of sensibility
and pain creeps in which
is not merely physical.
Oh well.
I must try again tomorrow night.
There will always be another night.

I Just See You In All of Me

I JUST SEE YOU IN ALL OF ME!

When my eyes open from the sun peering through
the window so bright, it's ray's dancing on my skin.
I feel you holding me close and tight,
I just see you in all of me.

In a field of flowers dancing in the breeze and
birds chirping from the trees and breathe taking colors of
blues, pinks, and greens. Looking out as far as I can see
with a sweet fragrance and the sound of buzzing bees,
I just see you in all of me.

As I skip a rock across the river in the ripples I can see
a beautiful picture of you and me.
Our lips touching and our hands caressing one another
this is the shadow that's casting from the water.
This is what I see. The most beautiful being.
I just see you in all of me.

All In All

Your love it like the rain
My hate is like the fire

I burn in all my pain
Your need for me is dire
From this what do i gain
Except the nickname liar

For all in all--

Your hate is like the rain
My love is like the fire

I scream through the pain
You hold me in your arms
I try to break away
My tears are a new storm
Acidic to my heart
This fear is growing wild

For all in all--

My love is like the rain
Your hate is like the fire

Your hate is like the Rain
My love is like the fire

Like potions in our veins
What things do we desire
Kisses like cocaine
Tears full of pain

For all in all--

Our love is like the rain
Our hate is like the fire

Burning throughout the night
Each passion and each kiss
Pouring from our eyes
The love we do miss
Together we are one
Apart we are none

For all in all--

Our hate is like the rain
Our love is like the fire

In All Mother's Heart Speaks

IN ALL MOTHER'S HEART SPEAK

ant lives in its particular style
elephant and human in other styles
definition of love remains the same
in all mothers' heart speak the same

Premium Member Autumn Is Here In All Her Glory

Crows, bats, witches, haunted houses, goblins, ghosts and me
Pumpkin bread, corn pudding, warm caramel apples my way.
Delicate intricate spider webs between my house and garage.
Holding me in a delighted way on an October day.

Stringy gooey gritty globs of pumpkin slosh on my hands.
As I help squealing jack-0-lantern creators scrape.
Laughter of children coming in waves from leave piles.
Husband screaming at the referee calling him an ape.

Fluffy tailed squirrels chastising each other over walnuts.
Screeching if they think another squirrel has gotten a bit more.
Solid cinnamon roll smells wafting in from my happy oven.
Maize on porch, beside gourds of various colors next to door.

Autumn is here in all her glory, showing us the colors we expect.
Luxurious reds, yellows, browns and oranges showing up in droves.
Cardinal songbirds twitter and trill their announcement of winter.
Magic of fall showing up in pumpkin potpourri and smells of cloves.

Premium Member Trusting the Lord In All Things

What a thing it is to know God's love
really blows the mind to think upon
how could God think so much of me?
such love beyond words or a song

But in calling us in His sovereign love
God takes you down many a road
not all pleasant but so necessary
so our seed planted should be sowed

This is a God that knows it all
even the beginning to the end
so He can be trusted fully and truly
assuring you every hitch He can mend

The key secret is to have a close walk
with Jesus moment by moment every day
then your faith increases to say, Lord
with conviction walking in His way

The Lord knows my way He's planned
every detail my God sovereignly has done
believe with a capital B not a doubt
His presence so precious is God's son

There’s a point we reach in our life when we realize
the unequivocal truth that ‘less is more’.

We then understand the freedom
of less attachments, less commitments, less obligations,
and less of all that is not truly important to us.

That moment is truly liberating.
It's when we actually begin to follow our heart
and dismiss all that is trivial to us.

Sometimes the sun on the nape of our neck
is all we need to be perfectly happy.

Premium Member The Scariest Stanza In All of Poetry

Numerous number systems beyond the real:
complex numbers, octonions, omnions which can eat whole black holes.
It's axiomatic that your personal history, preferences, how you feel
account for nothing at all.

$30 buys a flock of chickens for a needy family (International Rescue
      Committee)
$29 gets a girl a school uniform (CARE), for $300 you can stock a fish
      pond (Heifer International)
$69 can start a female entrepreneur in the sewing business (Mercy
      Corps)
$5 will buy a bed net that protects a family from mosquitoes (Against
      Malaria)

20th century experiments demonstrated that electrical charge is
quantized; that is, it comes in
multiples of individual small units called the elementary charge, e,
      approximately equal to 1.602
x 10-19 coulombs (except for particles called quarks which have charges
      that are multiples of
1/3e).

Why has the experimentalism of the avant-garde, which has failed in the
      novel, succeeded in
poetry? Because poetry is always experimental; while the novel, on the
      contrary, by its nature,
cannot be . . . which is to say that experimentalism is synonymous with
      poetry, and that applied
to the novel, it leads simply to the substitution of the novel with poetry.
      --Alberto Moravia

Man made the town, Fibonacci inflated zero to be the wheel
around which the universe turns and language is the soul
walking and talking quietly or going angrily to war.
"Counting is in its very essence magical, if any human practice is at all.
For numbers are things no one has ever seen or heard or touched."
      As are words.

Joan Didion thought the scariest stanza in all of poetry
begins Row, row, row your boat gently
down the stream. The elements, the material penumbra,
irresolvable for the mortal, readily dissolve in words and numbers.

(Dodoitsu)

There is nothing like love
And when you have it is great
God says to love everyone
Everyone needs love

Love can last for eternity
If you're willing to give it
With God's help you can do this
Cause love comes from him

Without His love lifes harder
Show His love in all you do
With God's help you can do this
Everyone needs love.

Looking For Love In All the Wrong Places

< this poem is not about what is written, but what is not written
like the smile upon her face that looks nil and somewhat smitten

and lochs of hair hanging instead of with bows and lace
tell me my angelic angel have you fallen from God's good grace

has your garments of thread gone out of time
has your dance with the butterflies gotten out of rhyme

have you been cast from your lovers heart
or are you just looking to start over with brand new start

has clouds silver lining rained upon your dreams
has leafs dance gone frozen in crystal streams

time stands still amidst wondering thoughts
time stands still when lovers cant be sought

The garden of love flourishes
with tender care
Kisses planted as seeds well nourished
By warmth of heart and quenching rain
Proliferate in colourful splendour everywhere
A secret garden where two become one
Under the most glorious summer sun
When blooms unfurl their petals and unfold
To bare their hearts and bare their souls.

The gentle caressing breeze wafts a heady sweet fragrance
So pure so unblemished so rare
A natural opiate that sends lovers to a far off special place
Only they can dwell and together share
A dream
Where mottled colourful butterflies
Dance a delicate ballet
And the birds sing with joy in jubilation
All day.

As the summer sun gently strokes and caresses naked skin
Waves of the warmest cosiest emotions are evoked within
Flowing forever growing from one heart to another
Perpetually feeding the greedy soul with euphoric joy and ecstasy.

From two such hearts seeds are sown
And nourished by love and care they are grown
To bloom in the summer sun
As the cycle of life goes on.

(Eleventh Power)

When I wake up enjoy what I can today
In worship spend time with God thank Him for all
He gives plenty of blessings to me and you
Praise Him all the time and seek him when I fall
Feel his love today and try walk in his way
He'll protect you always you dont have to crawl
When we put God first in all we will just grow
Under his loving care then our souls will glow
Just have faith and stand in Jesus tall and strong
Devil try block way and bring you only wrong
But with God we defeat devil and sing song.

Free Cee In All Honesty I Am Dishonest

IN ALL HONESTY I AM DISHONEST

Many people own what they refer to as a “cash cow”
A farm animal who produces milk to drink and make cheese
Well I am like an aged farmer praying for his last field to plow
And all I have is a cow who consumes cash if you please

Many people eat food that rots them from the inside out
I, however, use substances that rot me from the outside in
With certainty I am doomed by daily diatribes of doubt
The result of my walking side by side with sordidness and sin

Many people reap rewards from being reverent, religious and good
I, on the other hand, am plundered by impiousness and a lack of pity
It’s always been my plan to take advantage of those whom I could
And using fools who are foolish enough to find me oh so very witty

In actuality I’d decline a “a cash cow” for a small semblance of peace
The kind of peace I find only in devastating substances which sustain me
My sordidness is self-evidenced by sins that seldom if ever cease
And even foolish fools finally find the intelligence to disdain me

(This dog was an angel in a fur coat)

Angels come in all shapes and sizes
this one was full of prizes.
An Easter gift,
oh! so soft and not stiff.
Boys got her at the pound, and she was all smiles and never a frown.
Thirty pounds was all she was, this angel came with no flaws.
Her perfumed cream colored fur, would make me want to purr.
Lovingly messaged to sleep each night, up and out with the morning sunlight.
Daily she sang her song to the rabbits, this was one of her heavenly habits.
I talked and she listened well, did she think I was under a spell? She loved her blusher make up, it made her rosy cheeks want to jump. Off in the car we would go,
when we came home she would say oh no.
Her angel kisses,
were always there as was her best wishes. Heavenly angel I now need to say good bye, one day I will once again say hi.
