Angels Come In All Shapes and Sizes
(This dog was an angel in a fur coat)
Angels come in all shapes and sizes
this one was full of prizes.
An Easter gift,
oh! so soft and not stiff.
Boys got her at the pound, and she was all smiles and never a frown.
Thirty pounds was all she was, this angel came with no flaws.
Her perfumed cream colored fur, would make me want to purr.
Lovingly messaged to sleep each night, up and out with the morning sunlight.
Daily she sang her song to the rabbits, this was one of her heavenly habits.
I talked and she listened well, did she think I was under a spell? She loved her blusher make up, it made her rosy cheeks want to jump. Off in the car we would go,
when we came home she would say oh no.
Her angel kisses,
were always there as was her best wishes. Heavenly angel I now need to say good bye, one day I will once again say hi.
