Just breathe in,
violet meadows,
lavender’s relaxing elixir,
passive perfume permeates
the olfactory,
ah...such sweet slumber!

Premium Member My Herb Garden

My blue terraced pot is alive this year,
Growing basil, chives, oregano and sage.
It sits on my patio in the filtered sun,
Ready for creative culinary inspiration......
Maybe after I finish this glass of wine.

All we do are just to civilisation
Always in a rush to hear from the medical
As we keep depending
On morden day medication
We should not forget

Herb Garden

I’ll one day plant
An herb garden
Just for you

The various herbs
You may feel
Overwhelmed by, at first

Though do not fret…
As the herbs mean
No harm, of course

Why do herbs exist?
Why are they so comforting…
So flavorful?

The answers you seek, I’m afraid
Will continue to elude you…
I’m sorry.

Take no offense, kind individual…
The herbs wish you well
And love you

"the Magical Herb"

lying awake

the pain over takes

no sight of a cure

no hope for the world

deadly perscription pills

doctors with no idea

where is the magical herb

the one we all deserve

the cash crop of the west

thats argubley the best

remove these shackles

and let our minds break free

just three little letters

Lisa and Herb

This is the story of Lisa & Herb
A young loving pair who lived in the burbs
Fresh cod she did cook
Forgot to take out the hook
Pierced at the lip he said it's superb

A Bittersweet Herb Called Hope

Rip me to pieces and toss me aside,
I will wear my bruises proudly
never will I hide
Let the world judge even though it is not their place
I have myself a small comfort
No choice left, I must finish this race
The journey is important
but the mode of transport must change
For these things I cannot swallow
Or I might find myself deranged,
A sea of tears flow freely,
I could almost drown,
Stifling my sorrow
Not a sob, not a sound,
As the witching hour approaches
It shrouds me in the stillness of the night,
I stumble about in this tunnel
seeking the guiding light,
In the distance I see a glimmer ahead,
That will restore an abundance of life
To what was once dead.
Hope is not the ability to grasp at mere straws,
It is the possibility that something better
lies behind closed doors.

Of Herb Lore

The smoke from
Gandalf's pipe
     formed colored rings
which rested over
      the wizard's head
making him look
like a true sorcerer
      in the evening shadow
Yet the use of this weed
was no creation of wizards
   It was actually
         Tobold Hornblower
a renowned hobbit
    who discovered
    the weed
     The hobbits of Bree
 were the first
to put it in a pipe
The men of Gondor
esteemed the plant
for its marvelous fragrance
        Oh yes,
and there was one medieval scholar
        who was known
to enjoy a pipeful
         along with his companions
and discuss tales and
legends
over a glass of ale
      around a bright
fireside

Herb Wint and Mckinley

Great moments in the world need great hearts to behold it
For there are things that flashes grandeur
Mere eyes can describe, majestic love can ever interpret
The wonders of your feat. I bring honor
From the present to crown the kings of our beginning
I bring tribute from a modern nation
To the great Olympians that began our famous winning.
O bathe your heart in this our ovation.

If men ask your story, what shall I tell them of your truth
That a champion is not born but made
In the furnace of the heart. That every man has in pursuit
Some dream to exalt his name; paid
In blood is the price of every victory, and those who see
Beyond the brink of self, who connect
To ancestral hunger, will rise triumphant in their jubilee,
I bring you back the equivalent respect.

We had no flag, nor anthem, for your great victory then,
We merely an appendage to others dream
But with personal dignity you chasten us to rise as men
And out of nothing make mission gleam.
We awakened have not slept again, watchers of justice
Movers where progress makes a motion
Zephyrs of morning sweet, we welcome you with bliss,
O drain your cup, drink full of this ovation.

Lavish wicked exile
Florid amends futile
Beware o’ noxious veins
Fatal nature remains

Faultless lulling bell
Malign lethal quell
Belladonna most fair
Nary mercy to spare

Lavender-hued bane
Deceit assured reign
Hush now carnal lilt
Expiry nigh upon wilt

Ne’er partake blithe sip
Toxic upon mortal lip
Alas formidable jane
Elixir harbors chicane

Sativa

Four walls one couch
Four bros one pound
Dense smoke in this house
Light stoners start passing out
While real stoners laugh
Then roll more loud
Literally we're in a cloud
My thoughts end up in lost and found
If you got some cash
You can get some hash
If you got some cash
you'll smoke some dank

Curb the Herb With Verve

Curb The Herb With Verve

Instead of controlling and then try and curb
California has named Marijuana as State Herb;
When there went;
Became impotent;
Smoking and use of are each correct verb.

Premium Member Herbal Sprinkles

Herbs are so very savory
Each has its own great flavor.
Racing to my garden eagerly,
Beyond the veggies I do favor,
A whole lot of aromatic things,
Like thyme, rosemary, even sage.

Some folks prefer their food quite
Plain without taste or any fun;
Really though, that’s no delight
Instead away, I want to run.
No bland meals for my palate;
Kindly add some herbal sprinkles.
Let me enjoy some savory respite;
Exciting flavors make my tongue tingle.
Such delectable basil and parsley vittles.

Soup Herb

And found your muse dropped dead at the curb?
Heed this advice:
Some spice is nice
A little Sage can make Soup superb

Premium Member Better Than Coffee

Microwave a mug of water with
A bag of Orange Spice herb tea ...
Long enough to make it hot,

But not burn your tongue – about 85 seconds.

Toss the tea bag and stir in two packets of Stevia, then
Choose today’s cocoa and measure out two rounded teaspoons.

Will it be Hershey’s,
Hershey’s Special Dark,
Trader Joe’s,
	Or something more exotic?
                   Live a little – make a hybrid.

Stir and sip.
Don’t forget to wipe off the mustache.
Dunk in some Biscotti, or if you can afford it, Belgian Speculoos.
