Best Handling Poems

Handling Reality

Reliving painful moments every single day
Envying other's fortune
Always wanting the love of another
Loving people who will never care
Inviting things into your life that you can't handle
Trying to forgive while dealing with more pain
Yearning for the perfect life that no one will ever have

Handling Anxiety In 10 Easy Steps

1. Remember to take all of your prescribed medication. Don't ever skip a day because you never know when you might snap.
2. Cancel all your plans. Anxiety is a jealous lover. She is best friends with depression and will introduce him to you. Your old friends will no longer be important to you.
3. Cry. Like all the time. Anxiety will fill your thoughts with things to worry about while depression will remind you why you need to worry about them. Depression will tell you it's okay to cry because everyone is sad.
4. Stay inside. Anxiety will remind you what things could happen if you go outside. The sky could be falling. Maybe you'll get sunburnt. Or worse you might run into someone you. They might ask how you're doing and your lungs will close up. Depression will wrap his arms around you and lead you back inside.
5. Cry. Some more. Cry because you haven't had any human interaction in the past 3 weeks.
6. If you have to leave your house make it quick. Go alone. Seeing someone could silence Anxiety and she will no longer have power over you. This is not always a good thing though. Sometimes she will turn to Revenge to help her if Depression can't.
7. Panic. Anxiety can help with this step. She will whisper in your ears filling them with all your fears until you can't breath. You will be lying on the floor gasping for air. But don't worry this will soon pass. Don't yell at Anxiety too much. Depression may get mad and just make things worse.
8. Spend all day in bed. Convince yourself you can't move. Let your bones ache so bad that you can't even move. Depression will lay down beside you and cover you like a blanket. Anxiety will lie telling you why this is a good thing.
9. Soon nothing will matter anymore. Anxiety will be proud as she celebrates with Depression but you will not be able to share in their joy.
10. Remember to take all of your prescribed medication. You never know when the nightmare of steps 1-9 may happen.

Handling the Curve

Handling the Curve

When life throws a curve,
And it rattles a nerve,
To focus return,
The lesson learn,
From direction never swerve!

Handling Heartbreak

handling heartbreak
i become dependent on movement
two pints of oreo ice cream later
i retrace my steps on purpose
interrogation light on me interrogated
by me, myself, and i
a bunch of ice cubes in the bed
a hot water bottle on my now bald head
several pills on both end tables
alcoholic dishonesty reluctance
imprisoning myself internally
becoming a clown in my own altered, twisted circus
all the performers traveling through all get killed under the big tent
decay and decomposition poisoning the descending of my previous discomfort
i become a the star of my own world of improvisational theater
handling heartbreak

Premium Member Documentary Blues to Sugar High

I wrote a documentary
that would have won a BAFTA
But nobody would fund it
It was not what they were afta

I pitched the plot to Netflix
cuz they have a lot of money
They sent me packing, laughing
“Don’t call us, we’ll call you, Sonny”

I lastly pitched to Paramount
hoping they’d save the day
They took one look at me
shook their head and said, “No way!”

It’s such a shame that no one knows
your worth unless you’re famous
I always seek some solace from
those cookies made by Amos …

Famous (yummy) Amos (yummy)
“Makes your eyes light up (and)
Your tummy say ‘Howdy.’”

Illusionary Handling

There it is
	Just out of reach
	If you grab it -
It will fall over the edge and take you with it.
An illusion
	Not really there
	Taunting you to act -
It seems so easy don’t let it trick you.
Some kill for it
	Or so they think
But lose it trying to gain it -
Left with nothing but to face it.
There’s a secret
	Only it knows
	But here’s a hint -
Let it go and you’ll get it.

Is Handling Seduction

Seduction

Allison she came to live with us
I told Chris I might have some fun
I’d handle her just a little bit
Yes she threw my hand off, some
But I was just an old Horse breaker
Used to patting down brumbies some days
Too take the fear of the man from the Hoss
Till the fear had all gone away
So later I’d put my hand on her knee
No slap, yes it was ok
So I’d handle the inside of her thighs
But then I’d just walk away

I could see the steam arising
The heat in her love wanting way
It’s hardly even surprising
I kissed her and then walked away
That night I walked into her room
She asked what are you doing?
Said I don’t know, really
but we were in romantic tune
She was up at the daylight,
The heat of the night, washing sheets
Told Chris she had a sore tummy
Not my fault, I say and methinks…

Don Johnson 2-4-11

This is not romance or love, just a different type of connection between humans.
This is not your true romance
where guys try to get within your pants (really)
And love of course has its place
as we beget the human race....

If your eyes are open you will see
a method well known and free
a different path
you can debate
not spoken of to agitate

Handling Criticism

All those who criticize tarnish their image in front of everyone

Criticisms in print are best left undeleted, more they are read, more defamed their writers become

If we ignore criticising people, they will get bored and stop their actions

Those who criticize are surely not our well wishers, they don't deserve to be in our thoughts

Be confident of self, don't allow negative words bring down your self-esteem

Whatever a person thinks about you is his personal opinion, it doesn't mean he is correct

Barking dogs are best left alone. One can never straighten a dog's tail.

Lastly never ever defend yourself and try to prove you are right. You are not answerable to your critic's.
