Best Haled Poems

Premium Member One Step Away From Eternity

Alas, I stand atop this mountain crest,
and gaze upon the valley down below;
the graveyard where your body lays at rest,
sits in the center shadowed by plateau.

My sad heart aches with every breath I take;
I wonder why I’m made to bear this bane,
and live a life that’s cruel and opaque,
while trying hard my teardrops to restrain.

This awful illness claimed your life so soon,
while you and I were living in our prime;
the heavens haled you, leaving my life strewn
across this wasteland, sadly out of rhyme.

‘Tis but a step across this steep degree,
and I will join you in eternity.

That Ship Has Sailed

“Oh that ship has sailed..”
Shaking his head, following her voice as it trailed
He smiles to himself, ’give it time’, he knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain

It was love at first sight, the surround greyed and paled
Spotting this electric eccentric, dancing in the rain
“Oh that ship has sailed..”

As time flowed by, he knew how they’d not failed
He is her best friend through all; hysterical laughter to anguish and pain
He smiles to himself, ‘give it time’, he knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain

She loves him wholehearted, though never been veiled
On the news of their daughter, he’d tried proposing, in vain
“Oh that ship has sailed..”

Now soo much older, their matured rich love haled
She is both bubbly and light, and a grumpy old pain
He smiles to himself, “give it time’, hew knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain

She turns to face him, happy laughter regaled
He takes her hand, “So about that sword cane…”
“Oh that ship has sailed..”
He smiles to himself, ‘give it time’, he knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain

Restoration

***********

Restoration is hope
That their is a chance
For you and me
      ------
In the beginning their
Was this child called Jesus
The New Christ
Born out of Heavens'
To effect New Life
Up and in-to Eternity
      ------
Fore this is where
The Lord gained
His severity
Tis where Adam
Ate the Apple
From the Tree
And this was a curse
One sewn in and out
Of Parody....
      ------
He was born of this Earth
The child of a Mother
The Son of the living "God"
Sent by the be loving God
Only to live till the Second Birth
And to settle the curse...
      ------
The degradation of all man
Perpetration upon the people
Upon this Earth
      --------
Fore it was Death
That could not even
Set us apart...
And that it was Sin
That which permeated
The Soul and the Heat
      ------
He traversed the World'
Forsaking all Evil
To bring about change
To restore the faith and truth
For the true believer
      ------
To restore His Holy Name
And to bring about a New Heaven
So Haled be Thy Name

Absorbed Mirror

The voice of love was melded by the screams unheard
And was abided by the iniquity that kept on saying,
The breaking away time was felt by the weeping unobserved
And was shammed by the smiles that kept on retelling,
The engulfed days of zests by the writings left isolated
And was mirrored by the images of hermit souls of bonding.

The eyeses of faiths was dismayed by the treason besieged
And was beset by the malady that breathed sinning,
The aroma of red roses was reeked by the blazes reddened
And was tinged by the eroses that revived on wounding,
The shed of blood by the stream that was left spouted
And was mirrored by the images of devotees of pledging.

The esthesis of bonheur was born-again by the esthesis disgraced
And was eluded by the span that panted abasing,
The savor of buoyancy was maneuvered by the griefs graveled
And was defamed by the sarcasm that haled on mewling,
The drops of tears by the eyes that was left dazzled
And was mirrored by the images absorbed so recalling.

Rejected

Its like someone pressed Backspace I felt sidelined
I was never involved cos I was always left behind
In Some backroom of a scientists lab for experiments
I felt like slavery was upon me cos they got all tha credit for my extensive knowledge
My body could heal a thousand times faster then the atmosphere
I felt like i was inhaling a substance of the future which in my vision killed every inferior and sidelined the elite
Its like it could smell the fear in ur movement and ur breath
It seemed like it had eyes of the satellite
It browsed the land of the human species and found millions and millions of souls and it spread its bullets like it was in the military and a few weeks later the cemeteries were over flowing with dead and confused nation
I didn't know I was the course and cure for this demonic attack but yet I did everything they told me for the money
I was not threaten nor was my family I was doing it for the love of creation in my mind I thought I was saving people and creating jobs for the nations
Little did I know
It started triggers that triggered my consciousness brain and I rebelled against the mighty powers
They haled a gun to my face and gave me work and told me u have a few hours
It looked like the creations I was created in the passed they were jst simples cos this was the real deal
So instead of creating the substance I created the cure of the I have ever than and on the day of publishing they opened all the doors and let the substance out and I was left with a bullet in my head

Animals and People

4/9/17

Vultures circled overhead then swooped in
Towards the remains of a human
Nearby an outcrop of rocks that protruded

Another morning filled with fog
A frog sat upon a log
Of which he was fond
Inside a pond full of fronds
Within a bog
Located way beyond

A horse named Cork participated in all sorts of sports
Involving some kind of course
Holding its own head up high, while it continued forth
Even when the winds blew with force
From the south, east, west or north
Close and far from any wharf
They won so often that there owner bought a porsche
And new home with a beautiful porch

A cat that was a black
Attacked a rat
Then ate it as a snack
Rather fast
In a patch of grass
Before it groomed and scratched
Then sat in the back of a shack
Nearby a hat rack and took a nap
At last

Out of town
Across a field that was recently plowed
A brown cow sat down
On the ground
Below a sky with little clouds
After it had some chow

Before, during and after it haled
A person had a few too many pale ales
Then went off the rails
By pulling off a chick's ponytail
And getting caught with a scale
Next day woke up in jail
With no bail
And realized they had failed
In their own coffin another nail
Eventually was released and got home to bills in the mail
And nothing but bread that was stale
So they inhaled
And focused on how to prevail
Throughout the trail
Before seeing boats in the distance with sails
Soon after flew by a flock of quail
And then far away towards the horizon, water spouted from a whale

Sunday Devotion

We come to recognize
Just one faith
And to honor one man
With wisdom and grace
         ------
To pay allegiance
      To the Lord
Fore it is to He
For which we stand
      ------
We stand eternally
    And to Thee
We must simly say
           Amen
         -------
The people are singing
There is music in the air
With so much emotion
So-much fanfare
       -----
There is so much Glory
Their is Glory in the air
The people are singing
Some of them just stare
       -----
They are clapping their hand's
     Some are speaking in
        Tongue
A language only the annointed
      Even understand
And that is of The Father
     And the Holy Son
       ------
Thy Will be done
As a tribute to man
         -----
Then the call came
It was a call to be with
       Jesus
I was at His command
        -------
Haled be Thy Name
        ------
A man of the cloth
The man of the hour
He ensue' such a strength
He truly is Boss
      ------
He wheel's such awsome power

Mind's Not a Friend

Is it a cage closing in around me?
Am I enraged or am I lonely?
Do I love you or do you loathe me?
Flies low the slow plane who drones into those teeth

She’s gone
again
He fails
Many
tales
to be
said
of his
ailments
when he
read
too much
into
ev-
-erything
that she
said
that she
did
that he
ne-
-ver ex-
-haled
so she’s
gone
again
He makes
a friend
of his
coffin
again

Mind’s not his friend;
well mine isn’t either
He’s just lost it again;
please mind not his fever

Premium Member A Hundred Years of Tears

A young Native American boy was interested in his heritage
like many of us he wanted to know where he haled from
for he knew who he was and who he is…determines who he’ll become.

His father took him to an old cemetery…without any fanfare…without any frills
It was an unmarked private resting place…high up in the hills.

They sat silently for a moment…to allow old memories to amass
and so the spirits of their ancestors could join them in the grass…

He wanted his son to see for himself…he wanted him to understand
where so many of his ancestors were killed…by settlers who wanted their land.

He said this grass where we are sitting on…has grown here all these years…
nurtured by the sunlight…and a hundred years of tears…

But he also wanted his son to know…to make him understand
how his ancestors loved the beauty of the air…the trees, the sky…the land…

How they would talk to the animals…how they could walk without making a sound…
how the ground where they were sitting…is considered sacred ground…

“This cemetery is a reminder," he said, “of how nothing on Earth will last.
A place to look to the future with joy…while we grieve the sufferings of the past."

As his father retold old stories…his son felt connected…he felt proud
and on that hill-top cemetery…he made a solemn vow…

to carry on his culture…his traditions
to remember his history…
to ride on the back of his ancestors and be the best person he could be….

And he still remembers that day in the cemetery
listening to stories of hope and love and fear….
Sitting with eyes focused on the future
In grass softened by a hundred years of tears..
