Best Glowworm Poems

The Beautiful Corridor

Fragrance from your flute
Wafting in the air
Powder of morning in your hair
Robins in their throat
In your smile clouds float
Here and there
Golden alphabets stare

The river flows on
Sprinkled sun melts in water
Inflammation grows in laughter
Rush roar race reel recur
Empty boats wait for life
Stories seek a soft chapter

Your shadows grow longer
Polka dots on your blue shades
Tiny airy footfalls on grass blades
Pleasure returns in white sails
Boats are astir in water
Ripples and jingles join them
In the spread of the blue jays’ wing
A blue and white game
Sinking sun sprinkles softened sparkles
Dream like little orange splashes
Infinity in your eyelashes

Gradually unfolds the time of musk
Whether in shacks or in palaces
Whether in love or in malice
Sometimes a full moon
Sometimes a dark lagoon
Somewhere the stories in a glowworm fire
Somewhere in a sparkling dagger
Until the eyelids are heavy in the weary night
Descending into the cleansing dark
For another daylight

Crossing thresholds of blooms and dewdrops of glorious spring,
Toward autumn proudly walks season-bride with golden ring;
Her costumes, robes of ballet dancers, as per scenes, changes,
Facets of nature alter her charm to cosmic ranges...!

Scotching sun transforms mossy leaves, to golden-churns,
Clement breeze, once exited the stage, into storm-gust, returns;
Painful to bid goodbye to beloved trees, leaves linger,
Yet, get shaken off by now-twig-turning, dry-tree-finger...!

Constellation composes puzzled riddled strange stories,
Church-bells jingle mingling mysteries and histories;
Et-tu-Brute - one could hear Julius Caesar cry loud,
Senators encircle him, as though, for their goals, they're proud...!

Traces of moon gets gut-split; glowworm-stars glitter around,
Clouds, Indian widows in wild white, move, no safe paths found;
Master Craftsman pursues and persists painting scenes serene,
Brushes, disobliging, spill paints-mixes gaudy and sheen...!

Flocks of tribal nomads grazing on moss-grassland valleys,
Resemble ides-sheep of Jupiter; relishing rallies;
Peacock butterflies float, like goddess Anna in rose-hill,
In marriages of myths and truths, moods merrily chill and thrill...!

Harmonious chorus of sky and seas brings pertinence,
Parameters of perfection pave paths of permanence,
Paradoxes of joys, angst... it possesses plethora,
Ides-of-March! Not time! Not season! It's eternal era...!

Is She the One?

Is she the one who bridled my handsome twilight dream?
Whilst I was inside my woolen blanket of brown and cream
Ah! Like an awesome golden eaglet’s leisure time fly
She began to travel from the serene and bright blue sky
She drove the cloud without engine or steering or wheel
And reached my vestibule with blossoms of an eternal feel

Is she the one who tickled my disposition with great fun?
And filled my chamber with the luster of hidden midnight sun
Aha! I felt the alluring musk fragrance of an anonymous deer
I removed my curtains and saw the strewn stars smiling in cheer
She narrated about her wondrous world and the weird myth
Although I made much endeavor to cease my overwhelming mirth

Is she the one who grasped my sturdy and brawny wrist?
And compelled me to saunter through the way of milky mist
Behold! The gleam and bliss of wingless lonely glowworm
And listen to the laughter and lament of foolish thunderstorm
She gathered a handful drop of new bashful monsoon rain
I watched the sizzling salsa of bathing dusts in utter vain

Is she the one who submerged me in this pool of sweet honey?
And I struggled a lot with these white ants in deep agony
Oops! Like an earsplitting and terrifying trumpet’s roar
I heard my own irksome and foul smelling very last snore
It befell the truth that I fell from my wooden framed bed
Into the valley of wild trees with leaves in enchanting red

Nighttime

Nightfall robins sparkling in a glass jar of seeds. Gratifying senses lay by the lakes and the reeds. Climbing the tree to admire the vista. There is no varied crown upon this land. There are no fenced areas either. It is merely wild. And moving. Never still. Never dormant. Oh look a flying glowworm speedily moving and giggling to the plants at the human traffic. Harbour no elephant then in a miniature glass. It is not very nice or pleasant. And the north holds a torch up to show the way to the other directions who arrive to perform a ballet at midnight. Number nine hundred and fifteen. Does one plate glide under rock? Is there a cup if dawn in that mist over there? Are the cutlery drawers singing to the popular ice cream whisks? Yes. Good. It is to be said that a forks stick with a stripey tongue can atomize even the most frantic of twigs. And all flurries are in fact swarms not storms as is told. They are to be held, honoured, cherished and welcomed. For they alone will cut antennae in a global chaotic swoop swap. Oh pie the pizza sighed. I wish I had a case. I am so exposed and you have a lid. I will sit and watch my cheese splayed out over me. Whilst you are comfortable under your pastry pile. We must now move called the twenty foot peacock clambering onto the canoe. We have to get to the ocean. Come on. Hurry up. It will be far too late to surf if you don't come now. Splooshing sailing starting ships. And a giant eel smiling in a very decorated ball gown. Tantric trees tailoring topiary. And of course the magnificence of a large number of swans passing at high speed. Great. Fascinating isn't it? And dance of the dogs began. The Darkest

In the semblance of my darkest
side lie the sunlight after me,
In the dark blue face was a
smile that only a select few could see.
Only a few that fishes
like me when we see the snakefish

Maybe a glowworm or two in
my wake, still, I am onto Kinyeti's peak
as a sad Giant long-legged katydid recasting into a camel to save thy naught, yes thy naught

Though I thought Weddell was
a sea of stars, I was at the end a
Beluga Whale grinding Lulo Rose's diamond

Morrow, morrow, morrow
mermaid promise keeps me going
to the seaside, scary you, scary we
She turned me into a jellyfish.
She put death onto the ghost that heist
me off my kiss, Oh my lips, it is blood
at night, lips in the light, a waterless smile
in the twilight

Semblance Dark, a death oath for a hairy head, a death oath for shaving even one middle-of-the-head hair. Scary ghost, scary clown
Struggling for my stolen heart, stolen heart
hid in the middle of the Cretaceous.

Happiness, for gumiho
O gumiho, stop taking them, I know
thy idea. I offer you Gum, yes O Gum
Tears and tears for the darkness
Sleep and sleep in the glow
It is for the duck of thy dark side, my
dark side, their dark side.

Hug the Dark

Silver moon wandering as enlightened one
Glowworm flaunting as moons scion
twinkling stars garnished dark sky
tinkling cicada added music to rye
serene night pacifies ones spleen
routine sleep wants to this dark sheen..

Popular Culture

Silence is not the finale of the conversation,
 glowworm is bush lux,
chicken is not made of egg,
the desire comes from the vision
at least for the male...
Horny always comes from the word,
not always from the body.
Theo cat is a tame feline
dog is homegrown wolf...
Passion can kill lives,
the pig's nose is electrical outlet,
love, overcomes death...
The dark, has light obscurity,
turtle has its own world,
the shadow is a secret,
roots have green blood,
the toucan doesn't have
mouth, but beak...
The woodpecker without
  stick wood not prick,
poet doesn't write nonsense,
 he just amuses... !

Grief

When death and loss and grief fill up my heart
And behind an icy wall I am entrapped
Where should my work of holy healing start
Where is the hidden place where loss is mapped?
As on the earth I walk amongst the trees
And on the grass I lay my sleeping head
I make my friends from stinging wasps and bees
Who comfort me on this my own deathbed.
Yet do not sun and moon still shine as bright?
Do not men and women tender lie.
Does not this small glowworm give me light?
Do not courting tom cats saunter by?
With wider vision spreading from my eyes
I see more clearly where my comfort lies

Premium Member Silent Night

"The summer night is still and sweet
With flowers on every tree
Peace comes to them on quiet feet"
Whose hearts, like sages, so free

Balsams just like purple-dark stars
Shining as though from the floor
Glowworm-bubbles as if from Mars
Knocking the night angels door

Mingled with the breeze so charming
Moody melancholic minds
Happiness-filled and hearts warming
Singing litanies of saints

Beggars, refugees, and dogs stray
Seem to sleep so peacefully
Somewhere in some land far away
Lullabies heard leisurely

I Am

I am not one of ten billion—I—
sunblackened Icarus, chary fly,
staring at God with a quizzical eye.

I am not one of ten billion, I.

I am not one life has left unsquashed—
scarred as Ulysses, goddess-debauched,
pale glowworm agleam with a tale of panache.

I am not one life has left unsquashed.

I am not one without spots of disease,
laugh lines and tan lines and thick-callused knees
from begging and praying and girls sighing "Please! "

I am not one without spots of disease.

I am not one of ten billion—I—
scion of Daedalus, blackwinged fly
staring at God with a sedulous eye.

I am not one of ten billion, I
AM!

Fly, little lightning bug
Flurry in marsh and field
Flash your flame at twilight
Flirt in the dark of night
Find yourself a new mate
Fascinating glowworm
Flourish in great numbers
