I've been listening to your eyes
for what feels like eons,
noticing how the rain cries
unto your purposeful lips,
excited also, by the sounds of your
beautiful breaths in the smooth sunlight,

Tapping the pool of love blood,
rippling rose restless
to the edge of a frozen bloom
where the youth of our love wonder stood,
speaking to one another through playful madness,
tempting tragedy to resume
so to confess innocence in the fire flood
of the raw poetry pulsing in divine mood,

I find you in the fragrance of warm faith
and your eyes sing of sorrow unsold to sin,
palmprints upon our hearts bespeak a dangerous heat
that says love born of longing will never be safe,
for a moment we rue what's true about heartbeats lonely and thin,
You pull me within a hue of genius and clue of spirit discrete
revealing a teaching of soul engineering
where the meaning of living
is loving the bleeding
of pure beauty fleeting -

Quote: "Let the water settle and you will see the moon and stars mirrored in your being," By Rumi

     ******************

Oat flakes float over the pale golden sky,
A white moon floats easily over land awry,
A shining reflection waltzes in your brown eye.

Your golden shade suits my dulcet face,
Glaucous clouds wrap seagulls as they pace,
Roses chilly hands ignite your heated place.

Soak it all in while I built a sandcastle—our empire,
A soft, wild cry from the coast, where we fire,
Seashells, salt and sand spats, our hearts wire.

Postcard-worthy memories cram my halcyon mind,
I'm catching a glimpse of moon face from behind.

Hope's Glimmer

It should not have surprised me when I woke,
laying in the hospital bed, white sheets,
bandages, heart monitor, IV yoke,
nurses, and three empty visitor seats.
Psychiatrists asked questions, prescribed pills,
forced meetings, demanded group therapy,
attempted to find the root of my ills,
declared depression, and then set me free.

It did not surprise me when I came home,
to find it still broken, empty, and bare.
Laundry still piled in a haphazard dome,
and proof of collapse pervaded the air.
I failed in life and also failed in death.
There must be a reason I still have breath.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

All Eternity

All Eternity

I walked down a path,
which lead to a stream,
it travelled far and wide.
Then came rivers and lakes,
which eventually lead to the sea.

I followed this path,
which lead to all eternity,
my destiny's end I could see!
This path of wisdom and hope,
a glimmer of sunshine was waiting there for me.

My power and my glory was here at last!
The strength and the power, it came to me,
The wisdom of hope at last,
surrounded me in my moments of truth.
This never-ending journey,
just waiting there for me.

Cosmic Glimmer

In the blink of an eye of eternity,
with ceaseless Darwinian stride
from our earliest stage to modernity,
we dwelt on this earth and we died…

It wasn’t our land though we thought so
while stomping about in our frets.
We rhetorized peace, yet we fought so
throughout our begats and begets.

In a wrinkle of space in infinity
we crowned ourselves king of the sphere,
killing everything in the vicinity
without even shedding a tear.

If only we still could awaken
from dreams that have led us astray
to visions no longer mistaken
of a truly enlightened way…

A Glimmer

It's worth a shot, they said
And you have nothing to lose
Hundreds of tries
Or hundreds of failures
It doesn't matter
So stop counting till you do it
Or keep going till you get it

The more you dream, the more you dream
Don't let them steal your night!
And when you wake up in the morning,
Make sure that the moon is safe
In somewhere else,
Someone else is in need of it
Dreaming is universal!

You think that it's as dark as a bottomless pit
Where you can't find a glimmer of hope
Or a path to lead you out
But in no time,
You find yourself there
Flying like a butterfly
Singing like a nightingale

Maybe you are dreaming
Maybe... you are not
Remember not to count
Not to stop
Just keep going
Keep doing
Don't hesitate!

A Glimmer

A GLIMMER
There is a Glimmer of hope that will come one day,
We will find that Love has finally found its way.
There will be Joy again and no more lonely nights,
Living with sadness and sorrow doesn't seem right.
Blue skies, sunshine, and Smiles is how it will be,
A gift of love and happiness will be the life for me.
There is a glimmer of hope and it's coming our way,
Have strength in your Faith and do not ever stray.
Hope is all we have ever needed to get us through,
Trust our heart's and keep our faith is what we must do.
It was just a glimmer but was shining so bright,
Telling me that we will all find, it's going to be alright.

Conception kept secret from all was her will
Piteous youth just unlucky naught imbecile
On the dismal threshold of despair and heartaches
Bloodstained rugrat born into poverty and shame till
Suckling infant in her arms maternal love suddenly awakes

Premium Member The Last Glimmer of Light

The last glimmer of light fades away,
into the darkening gloom of night.
Bringing about the end of the day.
Another will begin at first light.

Night has taken its place,
to rule the hours before dawn.
Creeping into every space,
where light has since withdrawn.

A silvery gray mist fills the air,
ghostly apparitions appear.
The darkness they willingly share,
enfolding and drawing you near.

Sounds fade, unable to follow,
the day surrenders to the night.
A promise to return with tomorrow,
growing louder, as dim becomes bright.

The night, offering a safe haven to hide,
surrounds with a warm embrace.
The dimmest light, will be denied.
till morning gently touches your face.

A Sad State of Affairs With a Glimmer of Hope

Will we ever be free from a world of
crime, murder and poverty.

This is a real but sad state of affairs and is reality today.
I just heard of another stabbing there has been so many
lately, it makes you feel bitter inside as you think
how can they get away with such an evil act and hide, but
it is a fact that some dissapear for many a year.

It makes you feel that there is no hope to help the world
to really cope, but did you know there is something to
look forward to a time when all these evil acts
will be a thing of the past, and peace & Security will
reside on the earth at last.

You may wonder and ask how can this be, surely it is just a dream.
Well very soon you will see that life in a new world will be a reality.
As our God above is the personification of Love and he will really
act and intervene in world events and this is something that will
be awesome,fear inspiring and immence.

He will usher in a new world of righteous ones wanting to serve their
God above and show peace to one another and love.

What, you might say do we have to do to get there. Well
let me tell you read and learn from God's Word
and observe the pages as you proceed take
heed of your spiritual need as by this you will
greatly feed and satisfy your soul.

We need to repent and change our ways as the written word of God says,
Although imperfect we maybe if genuinely repentant this our Loving
God will see as our hearts he can set us free from all the stress
and anxiety.

Pray for guidance in life to do good and shun the bad and true
happiness can be had that is not for a moment but a
lasting joy as you learn God's ways and want to please
him every day.
May you take on board this word and apply it in full accord
and you will be shown the way to a happy life now, and
beyond into the future as we see a world that is new,
something to look forward too.

Glimmer In the Night

 Glimmer in the Night

The smell of cool air is naturally sweet
Nighttime so still, her secrets she keeps
As if it still seeks the left overs of warmth
Provided by sunlight of our waking moments

A red sunset just sank into the ocean tinting
The rippling water top with a breathtaking view
In her place rose a full moon like a candle in the night
Heavens night light rested on my path as a guide

I started to sing songs to Mother Nature’s beauty
Thanking her for her faithfulness and seasonal
Expertise, every production is lovelier than the last
Fortunate am I to behold these vibrant mirrors

Of her reflection and vibrating heartbeat of glory
A royal jewel in the king’s crown and sparkle in his eye
Tangible source of his greatness and sashay in his walk
We are still the apple of his eye and his heart of hearts

The stars surrounding the moon are cheerleaders
Of light glimmering to entertain we who gaze
They are the nights equal to the rays of sun
Heavens ballerinas performing for all to adore

We are blessed

Premium Member Glimmer of Sun

Sun peeks from behind tree line.
Soft remnant of cold day
Which did not warm up until late afternoon.

Last bit of optimism
Slipping away fast
With glimmer of sun.

Making room for cold, dark, evening.
Moon smiles, recognizing
Sun’s deference to his authority.

Cherish the glimmer.
Obey and live for the luster
The shimmering glimmering.
Happily EYES were of STARS.
Gleeful legally GLAD of the shine
No flaws, nothing but bold superiority.
On the CUSP OF unwavering equal to
PRESCIOUS green emeralds.
Essentially, sensationally, GAYFULLY, GLISTENING,
GLORIOUSLY, GLIDING, dancing on the face of
The moon with a SMILE ELOQUENTALLY,
Elated edging ENDLESSLY EASTWARD

Supermarket Glimmer

No one to hold, leave home I had been told
A parent teen who lives in Bordesley Green
It was so cold only sixteen years old
No nicotine, no partner to be seen.

And Social Service, made me quiet nervous
They served me gruel for lunch with arsenic punch
An arrogant crevice with no justice
They sit with evil stench in selfish trench.

Purse in pocket at the supermarket
With a prayer to above in search of love
Find a packet of hope for my basket
My faith soon leaves of dreams, a soul lost dove.

I am not free to be what I may be
Community, prejudged, excluded me.

Premium Member Glimmer of Hope

The days of bleeding light are disgusting
Endless vacations around the sun
Just to put me in the emptiness and the vortex
To let the reflected light and fog penetrate
The roots of suffocating time
So that we may be granted a new beginning.

I'm trying to find a way to break free
I'm a free-flying bird in correlations
drifting off into the horizon
wishing for the sky, but having far more.

Then sped up and pulled me behind
From the inside out, I can sense my wings
The beating of the heart was quieted
Singing with my arms wide open.
