Best Funnylonging Poems
Oh for your loving caress
The longing for your gentle touch
When you're near I am so refreshed
Now that I've experienced you I long for more
Your scent is so unique
It's just right for my sensitive nose
The gentleness when you float across my skin
If I could just have you twice a day
When you're near I want to sing
You're also an eye opener
Until you came I was fooled
Now that I have you Dial I can go anywhere
There was once a georgeous brunette
Whilst shopping broke into a sweat
Her desire for a new toy
Gave her palpitations of joy
And her longing to be a duet
~ ~ ~
So in search for her smooth operator
She decides to go for the greater
"Give me that one on the wall
It's the best one of all"
Sorry madam, that's the fire extinguisher

Silence screamed that dark night,
As I lamented my foolish mistake,
Palpitating from fright,
I knew I’d still be up when dawn would break,
Heart hyperventilating, my body started to ache,
Mind bewildered - my thoughts went astray,
I closed my eyes, my hands started to shake,
I knew I would get no sleep today,
I stared through the blackness,
As the emptiness appeared,
I looked away, shaking the stress,
Sleep looked vaguely clear,
Muteness was all I could hear,
“Tick Tock” the clock started to hiss,
My anxiousness was severe,
I struggled to get out of that abyss,
When would this sleeplessness disappear?
My sheets were longing to be drenched with dreams,
I tried to remember when,
Sleep was as effortless as it seemed,
When adequate rest in my eyes would gleam,
That dreadful night passed, and ever since then,
I swore I would NEVER drink Red Bull again!
Redbull: Some kind of energy drink.
It's you again? I am surprised
To see you back so soon.
You said you had so much to do
And it is barely noon.
"Pies don't bake themselves," I've heard you say,
"And brooms don't groom a room.
Without a human hand to guide,
No duties they'll assume."
I sit patiently year after year,
Unassuming and admired,
Just waiting to engulf your rear
When you are truly tired.
You may think I am inanimate,
Unaware of my own charms,
But I know how much you're longing
Just to fall into my arms.
When you are truly weary
And have come to me for rest,
I'll welcome you, but until then
You haven't passed the test.
So get thee up now, grab that vac.
Shut the TV off and run.
I'll wait right here to ease your back
When all your chores are done.
