Escape Plan

Slaves could not devise an escape plan until their thinking arrived in a free state of mind. Couldn't begin to break free from bondage that surrounded their bodies because an intact spirit was key for the freedom they needed. So they, the masters, solidified sanctuaries and brought a savior to fix a brokenness they had induced. Gave one direction to single point of entry. Told them to repent for sins they were never privy to until illegitimate children began establishing the first welfare state. Then they said, "It's all on you." That makeshift cell formed dorms and prisons broken men came to live in. One thought he was free, while the other began forming an escape plan. Both came from the same sanctuary designed to keep them from attaining a free state of mind. One grew accustomed to it. The other ran out there screaming, "I knew it! I knew it!" If God were truly in man, we wouldn't had to devise such an elaborate escape plan. And if he is, why did he beat this attitude in me?

Apologize For Slavery, Part Ii

...But the problem with apologies
is where exactly do we start?
The Aztecs took thousands of slaves,
and ‘praised their gods’ but cutting out hearts.
The Indians enslaved each other,
and settlers in the many wars,
but the Spanish enslaved them,
equal opportunity horror.
And the British enslaved the Irish,
three hundred thousand sent across seas,
often used when black slaves were not,
since they were comparably cheap.
The black slaves people had to buy
from squabbling African kings,
raided their foes for human cargo,
they profited off the damn thing!
China had slaves, and India too,
Ancient Romans, Egyptians, and Greece…
But of all these civilizations
which one set out to make it cease?

It wasn’t the great peoples of the past
that fought hard to end this great pain,
the western word drove slavery’s end,
no other cultures can make that claim.
Folks today have no perspective
of the evil we put in the dirt,
slavery was no exception,
it was long the norm on this earth.
And now, instead of celebrate
this huge and moral achievement,
we’re demonized because back then
we had not yet set the precedent?
We’re told we have to give folks cash,
that it is all ‘stolen money,’
when most of this country’s great wealth
was born in states where labor was free?
Look at the south and at the north
way back during the civil war,
the slave states starved in slow collapse,
the free state out-built them and more.
When less than two percent of folks
ever claimed that they owned a slave,
to blame us all is asinine,
dishonors those who died to save
the country from this age-old sin,
those who ought to try a new path,
and insults all those alive right now
who think slavery worth our wrath.
But if you still want apologies
look at every one close to you,
their ancestors were slave-owners,
and guess what? Yours owned them too.

Although gay women are attractive,
Can their love be counted on,
A chemistry that’s non-reactive,
Oligarchs of Amazon?

They face perhaps same traps that we do
Think of men as only drone,
An inverse baby kind of voodoo
Makes weak labeled sex to groan.

Where all good jobs are matriarchal
Confident they know what’s best,
A standing joke the patriarchal,
Litmus test for world unrest.

The thought’s out there this might be right on
Most know men have lost the race
Is ‘Women Better’ just a long con,
Bankrupt hyssop’s sexist’s face?

Misogynistic choices kill love
‘Death to men’ no better prayer,
While teamwork puts the hand in glove,
Seems to matter both are there.

Are women victim’s of man’s error?
Most men raised by woman’s side?
Small boys ignoring all their terror,
Little men, their country’s pride.

Men seem to rule, but die in battle
Block what festers deep inside
Then led to slaughter just like cattle
‘Free’ state purchased with their hide.

A girl I loved once had obsession
Wanted more to be like man
A mom at war with her depression,
Made this seem a better plan.

I can’t report she had much luck though
One girlfriend would beat her up
A flower dressed in man’s tuxedo
Life remained a half-filled cup.

But is it nature, is it nurture
Leads us to our confused art?
Heed dying gasp of cloaked John Bircher
Even Bible plays its part!

If life for others is what you choose
This can’t guarantee you’ll win
For life in faith means you could still lose
Doing good can still be sin!

A pig, a poke, that’s all you get,
Some joy, calamity, and yet
If God is dead, get real, get hip,
There’s sure release in death’s strong grip

As poet, I see humor in
This tale I spin, the life of men
God’s presence in man’s history
And Grace that spices mystery

For human love I know exists,
In spite of pain, it still resists
The certain coming of death’s call,
Though life be short, it is your all!

Lagos

Across the ocean
Across the sea
I live in Lagos
the city to be
Where business activities has become something of a frenzy
And her economy is a thing of envy
I come from Lagos
The Old slave colony
but now it is a free state because God has destroyed all her enemies
I live in Lagos
Once a real estate of Queen Victoria
But now it is a land of fun and hysteria
With the British Colonial past lingering on
Lagos is the land of coconuts and burning sun
I come from Lagos
with no flowers and trees
and you will be lucky to see a single bumbee bee
But now we have glass houses and many a tower
And hundreds of automobiles that speed of by the hour
And that is the Lagos I see
I live in Lagos
Precious paradise close to the Atlantic
With a view that makes travelers so romantic
But with a teeming population
which seems dramatic
the heat of Lagos is getting traumatic

Radio free State of Deseret 3 July 2118, 6 PM Salt Lake Time

International news first.

27 Zionist terrorists leaders were beheaded in the Caliphat of Palestine yesterday after their failed attempt to establish a third state of Israel in Jerusalem during Rhamadan.

One of the last two remaining members of the European Union, France, decided to secede after the other remaining member, Germany, forcibly annexed neighboring Austria after a surprise attack last night. Experts think the attack on Austria was to gain thousands of hectares of undepleted uncontaminated topsoil, and to find a place to deport all the refugees Germany has taken in from the Kurdistan-Turkey-Syria conflict.

After six months of street fighting, Anglo-Canadian forces finally captured the last of the Quebec Libre forces in Montreal. Surviving members of the Libre forces offered only token resistance, as most were near starvation from the blockades.

Several promising oil fields have been identified in the Amazon River Valley of Brazil. Indigent natives had already left the area after the last of the rain forests had been plowed-under to grow sugar crops to make ethanol for fuel.
Venezuela and the Latino Free State of Texas are competing for contracts to drill.

Regional news.

Tomorrow marks what would have been the 342nd anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of the former United States of America. It also marks the 42nd anniversary of the simultaneous nuclear attack by North Korea and Iran on 7 major coastal cities of the USA during America's tricentennial celebrations, which precipitated the schisms in North America today.

The Deseret Volunteer Guard and Air Force successfully defended the kingdom against a new wave of attacks by gangs, pirates, and sexual deviants that tried to infiltrate via Las Vegas into what used to be Zion National Park.

The Prophet's Safety Council wants to remind all faithful member-citizens to avoid exposure to direct sunlight, to always carry your portable water decontamination kits and air filter masks with you, and to compost all plant materials and use your compost in your sheltered Victory Greenhouses.

Keep the Faith. Radio free State of Deseret signing off.

An Eagles Encounter

EAGLES ENCOUNTER

Mi was doing my nite rounds..
then was a student at a local varsity
when i had an encounter with them eagles
they offer me peace...salaams..
but they were really trying
to appear nonthreatening

one of them asked mi a weird question
...how did you do it..
i perceived they were alluding
to the gift of sight..

dilly dallying around but they are..
all ears..i mention the fall..
suddenly there by my side scaring mi
or is it intimidating..

...what do you know of it...
only what you tell me..i replied
impatient eagles.. hard stances taken..
run to the USA even there floods
overtake thee..
and operative cleantone caps you..

The eagles aren't that bad
and they blend well with mortals..
This is Africa and immortals
walkin around aiint no big deal
we roll our eyes.. turn a blind eye..

We aint like them Americans
who have an obsession for the..
weird.. weird stuff of life..
miracles so rare in their land
they have to invent superheros

down here weird is the norm
and every one is given rite of passage
for this is tanateru.. this is gods acre..
and immortals have a rite of way
its the mortals who live down here..
you should watch out for...

the eagles land and leave
at times they snatch
the chicks from the hen..
and hubby rooster..
they don't bother us much
even kids don't fear them..

for they like to fly high..
and if i was an angel
wouldn't i protect them day and nite...
and if i were a bomb... i would never
explode..for the eagles landed-
and none was too wise...

Political Stormy Waters

Messages came thru coded
And the messengers appeared in disguise
Such was their fate as the group of 300
Made Stronghold their place of refuge
Twas all going according to book
But the twisted enemy was all around
One but must pass great hurdles
To attain the prophetic anointing

''Came the Message Thru the prophet gad
Depart ye from the stronghold..
and David's The prophets king salvation
Was to be found in playing lunacy
At them gates of the city..
When his pursuers found him
Angst the Enemy King spoke forth..''

''Did you but call you're Kings counsel
To witness the drooling and doodling of one mad fool
Truly can this idiotic fool writing gibberish upon the city wall
Be the celebrated David, Warrior, anointed of God to be King?''

And in that Biblical Fable I learnt a moral
Don't be judgmental of a book by its cover
Its often gems pass themselves as ordinary stones..

...Roy read me the Ordinance and declaration..
''I assert the declaration of Kirinyaga Free State''
And I believe On matter Europe Catalonia's should be free..

Xgadgados, Abuja

I had to down my tools
I had to terminate the calling
I struck wielding the ngungi..
I struck the great gadgados
Defender i neutralized
What is mine by right

The mob was unleashed on me
Thoughtless humans trying..
Nay baying for my blood
Even in this aspect they failed

I entered the delicate meats industry
And unleashed the wrath of Kiama
Dealt a incapacitating brow
TD of guardgados you are missed
I will always recall you held me
Encouraged me to wield my first
First pen - at poetry soup

I was hurt in the battle but...
Twas expected .. seer all is open
And great Boss at gadgados
The buck stops at your feet
Dereliction of duty will be..
Your undoing oh mighty one

Great D. of gadgados you are milking
one cow and using the milk to feed
A calf yet you neglect to feed its mum
The beginning of your fall will be when
You will destroy gadgados in the belief
That your personal star will rise..

Chipset Technologies i now own
In the digital era all your solution
I acquire using the rat in system
Aptly named mouse.. a right click
and i gain all solution that i need
systematic hacking sequence
those in the know call it

And we blew the NYS scandal up
Siphoning of our groups resources
Deploy Policia Militia Generaia
Private Military Commandant
and an assetion to - KFS
Kirinyaga Free State - eternally
Forever defender i remain - Kenyan
And patriotism is my duty - Shalom

This Is Ireland

This is Ireland
Patchwork of green and brown
Leprechauns dance
When darkness comes down
Thatched rooves
Woolen jumpers and drink
What a place to just sit back and think
It's past is chequred
With tales of brutal domination
Olde England's charm
Withered the entire population
But Ireland prevailed
And created the free state
A victory of sorts
As many still hate
We had our boom
Our sustained economic growth
The building trade mainly
Kept ship Ireland afloat
Our bubble did burst
As many foretold
But noone paid heed
All blinded by gold
We're struggling again
Just to make ends meet
Family after family
Turned out on the street
The governmental excuses
Are all worn thin
Old Ireland is hit
And she's slowly sinking
But what of all who done us all wrong
Justice is around the corner
Yea but the road will be long
The status quo is still intact
Drown the Celtic Tiger
To save the fat cat

For Black Day

27 October, this day.
In the garb of security,
The uniformed men landed here.

All the mountains surrounding our land,
Became red,
Foretelling mass blood loss!

Under the boots of uniformed men,
From free state,
Every Chinar leaf turned slave!

The world cheered Ukraine;
They fought an aggressor.
David and Goliath,
An evil oppressor.
They took up their arms
In a right and just cause.
For us, this bears out
2A’s opening clause.
And no, my dear child,
Don’t confuse ‘regulated.’
‘Functioning properly’
Could also be stated.
A free state is one
Where its people are free:
Free from aggression,
And from tyranny.
Sometimes this takes
The shape of Putin,
But sometimes tyranny
Comes from within.
See our founders first saw
Themselves under the crown,
But the king piled injustice,
And things all spiraled down.
They rallied together;
They all took up arms.
They fought for their freedom,
For family, for farms.
Thank God they had rifles
And weapons of war;
They broke free of England,
Were subjects no more.
Uvalde’s a horror;
We must look deep within:
The land of the free
Juxtaposed against sin.
Sin’s a quaint little concept
Most will choose to ignore,
But there’s evil within us
All the way to the core.
The child, widow, orphan
we’re called to protect
Will all die beside us
If 2A is wrecked.
We must put down aggressors
Both lone wolves and the State.
For that’s how the founders
Made America great.
No, I can’t afford aircraft
And I can’t afford tanks,
But I’ve got an AR
And I’m keeping it, thanks.
