Between heaven and earth is so much more
You and I are for instance, but before
We were, there was and forever will be
The imprint of who will be you and me

Through closed eyelids rosy light glows warm
Swaying left and right in golden sundust swarm
My wheels so insignificantly leave prints in timeless
Everlasting sand, tossed in tides, boundless

In faraway blue green, a scaled-down ship
Moves motionless, on a never ending trip
And we, beneath a humbling firmament
See immense constellations with no end

We sit here silent, hand in hand meditating
How balance in this world, weighing
On us, harmonizes love and awe in us both
Reconciliation of life, we speak our silent oath

The work, the words
The worries, the wits
They are lazy today
They have been sleeping too long
In my body
In the broad way of my heart.

I think about you in the heavy traffic
I lay bare my desire
I search the bodies of
A vowel, a consonant, a simile
An oxymoron, a metaphor
To find a two-syllable title
I breathe in their mouths
With the thoughts I have in mind
I whisper into their ears
To hear the echoes of the words
To compose and feel the sound effect
With overflowing ideas in head
I touch the curved lips
To get you mold
Deep in the vault of your mouth
I feel you and hear you.

They’re awake, but lethargic
Spreading the page incoherently
They mean to frustrate me
As they are feeling mean
Dancing in different shapes
Splattered on my page.

Premium Member Fighting in The Firmament

In the dismal and dreary dusk,
I experience horrific hallucinations,
Of cracks in the sublime skies.

Celestial conflicts commence
Without a hint or reason.
Comets collide, stars flare
In nasty noxious Novas.

Quakes seem to shatter the peace
Of the vast stretch of space.
Whilst we on Earth envision
The fall of a multitude of meteors.

Catastrophic clouds form overhead,
Effectively hiding the brutal battles galore.

Then the rain begins to fall and I awake.
Soon the cumulonimbus clouds disperse
And the silvery stars appear in full formation.
Thank God, ‘tis only a nasty nightmare.

earth

ripples, vegetation, heliocentric, clouds

             providential, mysterious

Premium Member The Blue Sky

The blue sky is not heaven
It's not the same thing at all
Dear friends.

We often speak of the firmament of yesteryear
By day, the sky is dazzling like an etiolated flower
Dear friends.

Defying gravity is to soar into the heavens
Where at night, stars and asteroids are numerous
It's the dream, it's imaginary impulses
Where we are stunned, amazed and silent.

We are fascinated by extraordinary tricks
The sky isn't really blue, it's an illusion
Man has a way of making inventions
To satisfy his tellurian and planetary curiosities.

Firmament radiates with celebration glow
midst sparkling kaleidoscope whisking vibrant cheer
lights leaping, lilting, skipping in whirling flow
like flowers blooming above unfold fireworks clear.

Midst sparkling kaleidoscope whisking vibrant cheer
bursting brilliantly as tints and hues of gems’ flare
like flowers blooming above unfold fireworks clear
praising God for His goodness*, wafting festive air.

Bursting brilliantly as tints and hues of gems’ flare
lights leaping, lilting, skipping in whirling flow
praising God for His goodness, wafting festive air

The Perfect Firmament

Before sunrise the firmament,
silent and luminous
kept all its stars under guard,
and none would go astray,
because the voice of God they obey;
and their names, unknown to us,
are spoken by Him with kindness
and carried on the currents
of a mighty wind,
which are moved by a command!

I express my enthusiasm,
to elevate my lyrics to the heights
of the shimmering luminaries;
this praise emerges from a deep gratefulness...
and unlikely any other emotion it conveys,
mine is never repressed by feeling,
it goes beyond my understanding
to why it was created with such a magnificence...
for that specific purpose humans aren't aware of,
but doesn't it attest to a Supreme Intelligence?

After sunset the perfect firmament
glows with light to overwhelm me
with more awe and less controversy,
and why should there be doubts
to obliterate every evidence from my thought;
when faith is evanescent, all thoughts
become empty and improvident...
so that the Creator is shredded of glory!

My excitement is induced by contemplation,
dissenting the theory of evolution;
how can distortion render conviction...
if all it does is cause more division?
This assumption doesn't tolerate belief,
it is utterly senseless and full of hypocrisy,
conceiving the Creation as a myth;
are we subdued by its plausibility?

When the Folds of My Cloth Collide With the Firmament

I can see you in the corner of my eye
I will keep you here as long as you like
will you respond to my calling?
How will I know you are the one?

what are my intentions?
another path that leads to the house?
another house that is the same house
where the floor is torn away
where I can see the cars and other worlds go by

O
To hold you in this place
stars streaming in real time
I am longing for the dawn
of a sun I have never seen

we lived before the moon
remember the time spent in the sea?
under the crashing waves
I can tell it is you

when can we talk together
like I talk to this page?
will you find me,
will I find you finding me?
in the basement, the attic ,
or on the wings of a great bird

I fly to you in my delirium
when my spirit hits my matter
when the folds of my cloth collide with the firmament

we will know

VERDICT OF FIRMAMENT

    Firmament addressed clouds asking
    not to assemble in platoon
and alarmed aggressive adamant arrogant tempest
not to be tempted to attack,
but allowing welcoming gentle zephyr to blow.

Ablaze Sun got astonished but felt ashamed.
Ample heat with hot air was arrested.

Azure sky in amazing awesome auburn Autumn
to allure outdoor romance in assured angelic ambient
and to assuage any agony if annoying.
Amour awaking, awaiting, appealing for auspicious moment.
avoiding apprehension of anything awry or awkward.

Appalling atrocious happenstance not to hit aspirant pair.
Let the couple be abloom aglow in amorous flow adoring one another.
Not to put in anxiety or anguish but to be accomplished on admiration.
No question of absolution you should arise,
asserting affirmative answer of love to accept astounding unison.

Upon the Firmament of Hindsight

No rocket surgeon,
     nor brain scientist called upon
but only Rudolf the red nose reindeer
solicited as psychological mentor
yes...undoubtedly countless
     decades removed since *****
(not very gay at all!)
     bodily changing phenomena

     from thine angst riddled
biological metamorphosis allows me to peer
with greater theft of mine precious youth stolen,
     via piercing overbear
ring mailer daemons,
when mine tender age did near

cusp whence onset of puberty
clapped development tight as if by
     a doppelganger mutineer
warp and weft of mine lifetime tapestry
     mine acute perception doth lear
as threads got tightly woven
     into mine casual knitwear

though pubescent phase
     wrought with oppressive foresight
     interwoven with jeer
ring bullying hmm...maybe thine ability
     to distill self actualization
     extant among interlinear
teenage stage viewable

during my youthful days, but clouded over asper
     mine more vivid perspective here
from this present moment
     ha...amusing insight from present perch
     devoid of adolescent glare
sire re: brill grade

     do lobes gleam freer,
now with insight aye ear
rate at such pitch 'ere
perfect hindsight aye declare,
yet as a much younger self
when I hapt to be a boy, acuity seemed oblivious
to perceive via sight and sound

what social cues visceral, (visual,
     and audiological) seems crystal clear
revisiting non verbal
     awkward teenage mutant
ninja turtle memories, that now deafeningly blare
at the threshold of ear
splitting decibels, how hard of hearing human
(nada so) subtle in retrospect, I am aware
interpersonal nuances clear as the tune
     Doris Day Que será, será
     did voice, a catchy air.
