Between heaven and earth is so much more You and I are for instance, but before We were, there was and forever will be The imprint of who will be you and me Through closed eyelids rosy light glows warm Swaying left and right in golden sundust swarm My wheels so insignificantly leave prints in timeless Everlasting sand, tossed in tides, boundless In faraway blue green, a scaled-down ship Moves motionless, on a never ending trip And we, beneath a humbling firmament See immense constellations with no end We sit here silent, hand in hand meditating How balance in this world, weighing On us, harmonizes love and awe in us both Reconciliation of life, we speak our silent oath *** January 29, 2017
