Best Expenditure Poems
To reclaim needless expenditure, allow the MP's to repay
No matter the total, let the law courts have their say
Now our economy has taken a turn for the best
Restructuring internally an injection of zest
Now, let's look after our pensioners, and place them in jail
They'll have showers, walks and hobbies, where their care won't fail
From unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical aid
Wheel chairs aplenty, not a penny will they have paid
Constant video monitoring, instant assistance if they fell
Bedding washed and changed twice a week, soon they'll be well
Having someone check up on them, every twenty minutes or so
Bringing meals to their cells, watch the smile in them grow
Families visit in a suite, for their purpose and nothing more
Enjoying Snooker, Pool and Sky TV, and a Library to explore
Clothing would be provided, shoes, slippers, PJ's and Legal Aid
It's all free on request, oh my! certainly no charges to be made
They would also have gardens and lovely exercise yards
Computers, TV and Radio and as many as they want, phone cards
No longer would there be a Matron, a board of directors there will be
A code of conduct for the officers, strictly adhered to, you'll see
And what of the poor prisoners I hear your minds start to think
How will they cope, these poor souls left on the brink
Well, they'll get by with cold food, left alone unsupervised
All lights turned off at eight, as they will internally cry
Mind you they will shower once a week, live in a tiny little room
A figure of £600.00 a week they won't flout, with no getting out soon

Giving billions of pounds to banks that just squander
Sharing bonuses and gifts, as they internally launder
To Mr Cameron, an alleged Prime Minister for the people
You work for us, do your job right, climb our steeple
Currently in our workforce, there are ten million or more
Aged over fifty, by the score, by the score
Pay them all a million, let's call it severance pay
Retire them early, ten million jobs now in play
With their monies they must buy, a brand new fancy car
Ten million cars ordered, a motor industry to travel far
A house they must buy, or a mortgage to pay off
A dying housing crisis sorted, no builders will scoff
To their kids who have become idle, youthful travesty
No excuses now, to schools, college or universities
So many kids will be removed, no hanging about our streets
Education being their answer, crime fixed, the ultimate treat
Buying fuel for their new cars, purchasing a few bottles of wine
Their taxes and expenditure, will leave the economy fine
What the tax payer has laid out, as they internally launder
Whom we have voted in, do your job, we'll grow fonder
Adapted from an email I received at work today.

I woke up Saturday joyful at my body's triumph
over virus, breathing again without pain and enjoying
winter and the cold that keeps us sane and sober.
But by Sunday my mortality had returned.
If I pass away now, how to assess my days.
Is balancing income and expenditure reports enough?
Our marriage and our piece of land. Dependent
on economy. For food delivery and machine repair.
In my youth, I imagined crossing mountains
to the sea, living off the land. Enduring weather patiently.
It's impossible except three days or three weeks,
with a load of supermarket food on your back.
So I accept home gratefully. And a niche in society.
We could explore these hollows and hills on foot
but my wife is weak and I am lazy. We use the library
to travel inner space. We found this place.
Next spring, a garden. Dig depleted soil behind
garage and fertilize it from our compost pile.
Learn the names and ways of cultivars, their relations
to wild plants and the edge. Finally know the fern and sedge.
Lazy one, life is short. You have never fought, to yourself
you remain unknown. You go the way of an unknown
soldier. Unable to assess the purpose of the battle.
Nameless, hungry, same as the neighbor's cow.
Be happy, slap happy. Within your generation, surrounded
by history. Seeking mastery through practice.
Rewarded with the sunrise, sunset. Yet to have delivered
on the promise expected by the parents of the baby.

Verse
You see, since 2002 to 2016,
The amount of years we been
Grinding you down,
Trying to make pulp outa ya mind!
The Lord and his Big Right Hand, Like Hezekiah,
Won't let go and for 15 years added 15 pounds
Per square inch for each Mercy he placed on your soul!
You see, the Maker gave Hezikiah 15 more years,
To do all he can and fix all that he could,
For the Purpose he willed for him.
Even Nebuchadnezzar God allow to rise after one year,
To reclaim his kingdom again!
We won't let you rise cause we ain't God's Right Hand,
So, with our left hands we forced you down to the ground,,
'Specially 2003, worst year in your life!
Then skipping some years, we looked at the very old.
Us, you and the world stood still like Joshua did.
But for 15 years, much time wasted,
Could have been money and expenditure;
But we did't know that God was Hezekiahering you!

‘BUILDING THE NATION.’
They sit every session, to negotiate their pay,
They talk of how much they need,
They complain how taxing their job is,
As they sit ‘building the nation.’
They had a strategy this time,
To increase the taxes, charges and rates,
To cover the ‘government expenditure,’
They also tripled their pay, and accompanying allowances!
And said they need it, in ‘building the nation.’
In the name of building the nation,
They made legislations,
To cut down ‘other salaries,’
And increase the indirect tax rates,
They saw it a necessary move, in ‘building the nation!’

The killers are not only those who bombed this nation
But also those who knew their hangouts and kept
silence
The killers are not only those who slaughtered
humans
for religion reasons
But also those religion leaders who refused to
condemn
the act
The killers are not only those who imported
weapons of
destruction
But also those pilots, sailors, drivers, custom
officers
who let their palms be greased to let them in; also
those
who made the weapons; also those who sold the
weapons
The killers are not only those who kidnapped
innocent
children and other men's wives
But also those who sponsored the wicked
expenditure
The killers are not only those who disguised as
soldiers to
commit genocide
But also those Generals, Colonel, Lieutenants who let
them had access to the uniform
The killers are not only those who ran away from
their
responsibilities of protecting our lives
But also those who procrastinate or know what to
do
to bring THE KILLERs and their accomplices to book
but
refused to do so.

let me live
don't burden me
with more than I can bear
don't coerce me
into believing things
from your reference point
I'm tired
let me live
these decisions weigh me down
the expenditure of thought
analytical thinking
that goes against the grain
of my compassionate heart
taxes me
it comes at a cost
I'm tired
let me live
my struggles with myself
are in and of themselves
hidden land mines
in the battlefield you call life
I'm maimed
walking wounded
looking for that fox hole
in someone's heart
where there's protection
from whizzing bullets of doubt
don't trouble me
with trivials
when I'm only on survival mode
let me live
when I'm of sound body and mind
come to me then
I'll have energy to spare
emotions to expend
and a clear functioning mind
then I can give ear to your grievance
and play arbiter
but not now
if you care
let me live
my life is ebbing
chronic emotional fatigue
alibied by my smile
please be kind
let me live
I only have
this one life
to
live.
let me live

Ladies say he's just lazy; he needs to get a job,
fellas say she's too crazy; she’ll scream then she’ll sob.
He’s a man who's a man-hoe; messing around with all these girls,
she's a flat out gold digger; simply in it for the pearls.
Ladies complain he's insensitive; he needs to learn to care,
fellas moan about her attitude; face her wrath if you dare.
A bunch of baby momma drama, is that you will get from him,
kids running around like a nursery, is that you'll find when she lets you in.
She say's he doesn't make her feel special, and is contemplating the breakup,
he replies that she's full of herself; looking like a clown with all that make-up.
He lacks the ambition to ever do something with his life,
she's just plain heartless to ever be considered as a wife.
He keeps looking at her friends; acting like he's going to make a move,
she's already had his brother, so there's nothing left for her to prove.
Girls say he's single minded; he's only after one thing,
boys say she's a lead along; they call her pretty string.
They never have a shape up; always looking rough with their nappy hairs,
they always have a weave on; bet they ain't even sure what hair is theirs.
Women say they hold their nose; he doesn't know basic hygiene,
men say they're appalled; looking at the love handles pouring out of them jeans.
He's merely a grown boy, who doesn't know a thing about chivalry,
she acts like a brat, always expecting him to the give out his currency.
She can't believe he's a momma's boy; 25 still living at the home,
he's shocked by her expenditure; caught buying shoes with her loan.
These are not the facts but the stereotypes,
when women are considered cold, and men are painted in prison stripes.

Face framed ornate, or curl corner blu tacked up
Childhood fanciful daring must softly be contained
Dispicable hovers inside cherub cheeked adorable
Challenge for enamoured to create correct shape
Administer discipline with compassion entangled
Potential beckons infant innately curious
Toddler discovery meshed with messiness
Woven with wonderment routine can't limit
Succumbed mother disowns justifiable furious
Besotted witness, sure estate for mischief
Nudging daughters towards beings approved
Beyond old rigidity, modern option multiples
Youth spoken forums we're foreigners to
Images of genuine and fake indiscernible
Listened to lunacy delivers messages askew
Duty to daughters reflect our similarity
Penciled declarations stuck to fridge
Devotedness focussed on child precious
Inflated effort, parents' universal currency
Whether meagre expenditure, or excess
Snippets of your prosper are written in me
Lawyer loads clothes into washing machine
Submerged both classes in a world severe
Puppets of striving in fast passed society
Consumer boom boldly commandeered
Disparity reveals parental symmetry amazing
Faithfully accommodating girls' shifting needs
Working mothers, each of us 'unaccompanied'
Various sized resources serve child raising
Sacrifice made by dedicated souls equally
Providing guidance, friendship gripes quieten
Line of latitude curved by desire to control
Old school wisdom bolsters brains susceptible
Dramatised screen infused new century children
Content quickly spirals into unacceptable
Desperately hoping, we Mother soldiers
Shield children from future provocation
Hold fort, nest feathered dedication
Thrusted comfort, reluctant scolders
Admist mixed rails, reliable station
Within swayed pre teen trajectory
Sturdy parenting depots journey
Home stands firm from outside duress
Finances overshadowed by reliability
Partnered peers approve sole success

God's greatest gift to humanity is health
It can be considered as the mother of wealth
Without a sound health life becomes tiresome
Care for it before our condition turns out awesome
Spare no effort to remain healthy
Sickness means much expenditure even if we are not wealthy
Staying hale and hearty is a precious treasure
The secret of well being depends on several measures
Early to sleep, early to rise
Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise
Continuous physical exercises and good living habits
Are essentials requisites to keep forever fit
Alongside with prayers and meditation
Man will surely attain salvation
Oh! youth of today, stop this artificial living
Substance abuse will destroy everything
If you damage your health
Eventually it will lead you to death
For when wealth is gone
Nothing is gone
But when health is gone
Everything is gone
It's only when health is lost
We tend to value it the most

7.
the leaf of jack-fruit is luxuriant
i can’t remember whether i ever notice
the portrait of your face on it
there are so many words
that are slippery
how much rustic is the dust of the legs
of the young person is known to the road of the city
daubing green on both palms
i call for rain …oh rain ..oh rain
and into that rain i let my wrist-watch float
thus the great rainbow unfolds its wise mirror
on the scaffold of bottle-gourd
from the bright cloth-end falling down
the odour of detergent
thus the applied mathematics of the diesel
is learnt to a greater extent
8.
behind the change of colour of the swelled wind
the samovar plays no role
though you know it you tear off tears
from your eyes
and the merry biscuits that are kept in the jar
raise a joint demand to serve them
after wrapping with new banana-leaves
and the funny thing is that no accounts is found out
of the expenditure on the lip-stick that was used
by the fishes in the aquarium at the time of illness
of the antenna
by the hands of the clock stretching their shanks apart
is it possible to know the actual age of a comb
either it’s costly or cheap

Athlete of international stature
Boxer Manny Pacquaio gives blows along generous gesture
Champ of the people with humble beginnings’ posture
Driven toward victory of faith-venture.
Empowered by God, he testifies of his Christian culture
Fortified through Bible principles’ feature
Gracious provisions he shares in his blessings’ pasture
Helping charity works from his foundation expenditure.
Imparting Gospel truth by his influential celebrity nature
Justice he fights, complementing his senatorial puncture
Keeping his stand on issues clear according to the Scripture
Learning well while leading toward lawful legislature.
Might and mercy he blends midst righteous fights’ torture
Nourishing citizens with goodness and well-being’s nurture
Optimizing public official’s role since his bad vices’ departure
Persistent to present a good name* beyond branded signature.
*Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

I reflect on my current 'reality' & how I have thought in my past day's
Indeed how many times I reasoned on your existence.' Or lack of it?
Or gave you a Dimension I could at least comprehend.'
How alike was I in all this as is all mankind?
Time.. Tangibility, how self deluded can we be? is a hundred years forever?
Yet this small space.' I.. We have denoted as 'reality' as a time of portent even'
Thuough this was only because it was in 'my' lifetimes span,
Have not others gone through the same passage, in lifes transient chapter?
How alike in our miscomprension we can be.'
For it is written, you make my days as a 'handsbreadth'
Again it says you view a thousand years as a watch that passes in the night,
For a thousand years is like a day, and a day is like a thousand years to You,
Also in all this, all the conjecture all the 'science' do not these actions.. This
Expenditure of our precious time, reinforce the very truth of your existence.?
For whoever built themselves castle walls, if it were not to keep someone out?
Whoever has not mustered their arguments before going into the courtroom?

Didactic
So I write, I write and I write.
I like to write.
I like to write so I write.
There is no purpose
There is no expenditure
There is no outcome
There is nothing other
than me writing.
I'm in a box now, writing
but I'm freaking out a bit
I never knew it would be like this.
I don't know what to write anymore
I'm in a box, in a box.
I've been in this box all this time.
I guess I should have known.
There was never anyway I could
write myself out of this box.
All this time I thought I could,
if only I was given half a chance.
But I was only lying to myself,
or is it a lie, and I am fighting
back with the only thing that
makes any sense, the only
endowment, the whole enchilada
yes, this big writing lying thing
is virtue that I thought I held
but never did, for it was me
And I was it.
