Everyone Has a Story

The clouds are now fading,
as the rainbow of life breaks through,
once my tears fell heavy,
but now only a trace of misty blue.

Sometimes we have no reason,
answers can't be found,
but we still stand on our Faith,
praying for stable ground.

Many pathways are given,
that's where common sense can't be blind,
for what we choose today,
can push us forward, or leave us behind.

Years are a blessing,
if we learn from where we've been,
but if we never humble our self,
the clouds will come again.

Everyone has a story,
our journey of tears, and smiles,
we are the keepers of the memories,
and all those lifetime miles.

Everyone Has To Go

If you were looking for me
I had to go.
God was calling you see
and I couldn't say no.
Don't be sad
it's a happy day.
Just be glad
we had yesterday.
We had some fun
and we had some laughs.
But it's not done.
Not by half.
God called me
but I'm still here.
You just can't see
but I'm with you dear.
I'll be watching over you
and I'll love you forever.
So what ever you do
don't ever say never.
I'll see you again.
God told me so.
Good-bye now my friend.
Everyone has to go.

Everyone Can'T Be a Swan

Preoccupied with symmetry
                The world considers face
The quest for winsome Venus
                     A never-ending chase

Obsessed with judging people
By the numbers on a scale
We scrutinize our bodies
                         To every last detail

Yet what of inner beauty
                         Is that of no import
As it remains forever
             Its passage won’t run short

For me, it is my mind and heart
                          I will depend upon
For in this world of ducklings
We all can’t be the swan

There's a Sport For Everyone

"There's a Sport for Everyone" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "The Farmer
in the Dell".

There's a sport for everyone,
There's a sport for everyone-
Baseball, soccer, basketball;
Sports are so much fun!

Bonus activity: Ask each child which sports they participate in or would like to try.
Explain that there is a sport for everyone, no matter your physical capabilities. Some
sports like English horseback riding may require more mental skills than physical. Tell
children, "If you try a variety of sports, you're sure to find one you love!"

Premium Member To Everyone a Goodnight

Well they are here again
Knocking on my door
Monopolizing my television
Decorating my neighbors homes
Blitzing me at every store
And corner in every city and hamlet
Between here and Buzzard Beak, Idaho.
It’s like a virus
A pandemic
Santa Claus is coming to town
Well I’ve been bad, very bad
And if that bastard shows up at my house
He ain’t getting cookies and milk
I’m been talking to Jesus and he tells me
That Santa is a fake, a sham, a trick on the poor people
He’s just a way to make the rich richer and poor poorer
So I ask Jesus “Why do you let this happen?”
And he smiles and tells me a long story about faith and forgotten dreams.
Then he fades back into the egg nog and I sleep with the devil.
Fitful dreams and reindeer back strap for breakfast
I eat the fake snow and regurgitate the Christmas balls
Burn the tree and bury the trimmings
The fat man can’t intimidate me.

Everyone Needs To Read This

There are so many people who will stand up
In the cause of speaking for others, but
What is the motivation for this act
I mean what do they gain to be more exact
I mean, they speak for some, but who will speak for all
Whose Life is more valuable....that's what I must ask yall
At the moment of conception, who will we cherish
And who will receive our condolences when they perish
Some never got to taste breath, many never saw the light of day
And if they had a chance, I imagine this is what they'd say
I never got my chance to lie, I never got my chance to tell the truth
I never got to be the elderly, I never got to be the youth
I never got to Love, I never got to hate
I never had to rush, I never had to wait
I never got to laugh, I never got to cry
I didn't get to win or lose, I didn't even get to try
I have never seen the sun, I have never seen the moon
I never felt a midnight, I never touched a noon
I never got to steal, I never got to earn
I never got to teach, I never got to learn
I didn't get to work, I didn't get to play
I never had to leave, I never got to stay
I never had my chance to listen, I never had my chance to tell
I never got to buy, I never got to sell
I never got to kill, I never got to save
I never had my chance to be bad, I never had my chance to behave
I was never your worst enemy, I was never you closest friend
I never forgot to say I Love you or to ask how have you been
But it's only Life right....I mean, you got your chance to record it
But we will never get ours....we are the aborted

Premium Member Everyone Would Say

Everyone would say, did you hear?
She's the one
She's too young
How irresponsible

Wearing smiles upon their faces,
pasting labels on her back
Her sullied reputation,
a newborn in her pack
How impossible

Everyone would say did you know that he has gone?

Mistakes she made, she'll be known to fail
Mistakes she made, will be known by all
Mistakes he made.......... well boys are boys
she made her bed, she had a choice
Every voice will say, oh well......

Everyone will say
Her choice, her bed, she made her hell
Who's left to blame? Her fault, her shame, her belly swells
What was his name? Well.....shame, shame, shame

She hears the words
She holds them close
She holds the babe that she will bear
She bears the babe that she'll adore

Bittersweet, was yesterday,
Regret, they say, she'll toss away

A babe she bore......she holds with pride
This motherhood, she will not fail
Who once was frail.....she'll take in stride
And motherhood, she wears it well

When I was a child everyone’s mother on my block corrected me.
Every adult in the neighborhood watched me vigilantly, carefully.
Watching for me to do something wrong,
So they could call my mother.
On the way to school I sometimes took a risk,
Knowing full well I’d get a spanking when I got home.
Sometimes it was worth it.
On a daily basis, I was called to a variety of porches to apologize.
This was the 60’s
In a small Iowa town.
It’s the way it was.
None of us questioned it.
One Wednesday Mr. Joe
Came out on his porch
And yelled, “If you don’t stop dawdling,
You’ll be late for the bell!”
We did not know what dawdling was,
But my sister and I ran to school,
Sliding into our desk seats seconds
Before the bell rang.
Mr. Joe had saved us from
Staying after school with the teacher.
We started waving at him every day after that.
“We are going to play hooky” I told my twin sister one fine day.
We were on our way back to second grade, after a hot bowl of
Tomato soup with a zillion crackers, and an ice cold milk I refused
To drink because I hate milk.
When Mom’s car pulled up
My blood ran cold.
My sister started screaming and
Ran right to her.
I was much more difficult to catch.
Neighbors ran out to tell her where
I was hiding every fifteen feet.
I got switched all the way
Back to school,
And decided I hated
Neighbors.
No child could have been
Snatched by a stranger
In my home town in
The 60’s.
They would have had him
Down on the ground under
 A sea of knees before
He finished his first
Sentence to us kids.
We were loved, protected, and raised by everybody.
Watched as closely as caramel candy at Christmas time.

America Is Everyone

America is everyone,
There are people who believe otherwise
But America is not
Just some middle class white man,
Living a suburban life,
Drinking coffee every morning,
Eating breakfast with his beautiful wife and children.
The American dream right.
But America is more than that

America is a Cuban boy
Being as loud as he wants,
Then blaming it on being Cuban,
Taking coffee shots to wake up,
Trying to learn a language separate from his native tongue,
Getting frustrated in class because he feels stupid,
While his mother and father work overtime to help feed him and his siblings.

America is a black woman
She wears her curls with pride,
Her voice is strong,
Her independence is stronger,
She takes nothing from no one,
And has the will power to work long days and nights
To make sure her kids get to live a good life
Because she’s done the research
And it says that black kids are more likely to drop out of school than white kids.
She doesn’t want them to struggle like her
She wants them to be happy
To prove that a kid from the south side can become a doctor, a lawyer, president, anything.

America is a Muslim girl
She fears going to school every day,
But she trusts her faith and with struggle
Puts on her hijab
Presto, now she has target on her back
Students make racist jokes
But no offense right
And lord forbid that the topic of Isis pop up in history
Because then the wondering of eyes will all point at her
And they will question her about terrorism
As if she knows all the answers.
People want her deported
But she just wants to have a full day without any remarks about her religion
She wants to be normal.

Premium Member Everyone Is Unreal Now

It is not all about us
It is all about me.
My feelings, my hopes, my dreams.
Get out of my thoughts; you take too much time

You are begging for attention
Annoying me
So I run toward the hills
To be alone, with my best friend, me.

Your ads come on TV
Begging for this and that.
Begging to live. Always begging.
You are an irritant. I flip off the TV

If I cannot see you, you become unreal
Everyone is unreal now as I hoard and sit
By myself with a boat-load of toilet paper
Not caring in the least about you or your needs

I am not totally happy with myself
But at least we agree among ourselves
Most of the time and this is more than enough
Keep your poverty and your illnesses to yourself

I will not open the door
I will not open my heart.
It is all about me.
Saving and preserving myself. Get it?

Everyone Knows

EVERYONE KNOWS

Everybody knew that the earth was flat
There were lots of bumps so not flat as all that
Though ships seemed to sink out of sight in the distance
They would come back with reassuring persistence
But everyone agreed from the peasant to The Crown
Clearly up was up and down was down

They all knew that the earth was the Centre, the middle
Sun and stars all around, it couldn’t play second fiddle
Galileo demurred; didn’t fit his equations
But revised his opinion on powerful persuasions
So reality continued to veer from the actual
‘Till they could not deny all the evidence factual

The theories of Galen from centuries ago
Said blood moved in the body by ebb and by flow
Then Harvey discovered the blood’s circulation
Requiring that science give reconsideration
Though facts showed that Galen’s old theory was failin’
Some proclaimed that they would rather err with old Galen

Now everyone knows climate’s in bad transformation
Based mainly on computer model simulation
CO2 is now villain and viewed as a bane
Yet the plants and the trees relish more of the same
We are told it is true, scientists agree far and wide
Like when Earth was flat, and blood moved with the tide

But science is dominant, and considered unmalleable
Except that the scientists are human and fallible
Just like all human race they have weakness, will amend a
Set of data not fitting their venal agenda
Use your eyes, beware those things everyone knows
In a trice could be gone like the yesteryear snows

B5-God's Word For Everyone

In Romans 5 it says God loved us and He sent His only Son to die on the cross for us. In fact the bible even tells us something stronger here. In verse 10, “When we were enemies of God”, when we were separated from God. Doing things that were disobedient to God. God extended His love towards us. That’s what we call unconditional love. We need to practice in our life this kind of love in our life. That’s a tremendous life principle we need. For most of the time when you hear parents bringing up children or a loved one talking, you could hear that their love is conditional. A parent will tell the children if you do good then I will love you. That’s not God’s love. We do not want them to do bad but they must know that if they did badly we don’t approve of the evil that they do. But we still love them. That would have been totally different. So God’s love is unconditional. There is nothing that you could earn that love because He does not ask for any condition. He loves us because of who He is. The bible declares that God is love. His love comes from the depths of His very being. It is dependant upon His nature and not upon the one receiving. Human love is dependant upon the one receiving. If we were able to renew our mind and let our love grow to the level of God’s love, we would be able to far more things than we have been able to do because of His nature, because of His being that love that He has inside wants to be expressed. You could give without loving but you cannot love without giving.

A Talk With Jesus

(Bring me your bold, meek, strong, the weak.
I reside within thee all _no matter the language you speak.)

I had a talk with Jesus and he had a lot to say.
He asked me why, when given the truth many turn away.
He thought he'd left his teachings in our good hands.
We were to spread peace and love throughout the lands.

All are welcome to the truth, rich, poor, and the downtrodden;
those that shine with the sun; and those time has forgotten.
The "Woke", the sleep; those harden, and those who weep.
For I know the words you speak_ and secrets you keep.

All know my name no matter the tongue,
the truth of my name was not limited to one.
The changing of the languages changed the game.
Now I am known not by one_ but many a name.

So pray with the language_ the origin of your start.
Prayers have more meaning when spoken from your heart.
All know my name no matter the tongue.
The truth of my name was not limited to one.

I now call on Jesus with the tongue of my birth;
that's the name for me of the most value and worth.
All know his name no matter the tongue.
the truth of his name was not limited to one.
