Love List

Love
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Love approaches and does not scare.
Love bears and does not let go.
Love cares and does not shrink.
Love declares and does not shun.
Love establishes and does not tear down.
Love forgives and does not remind.
Love gives and does not expect.
Love has and does not gloat.
Love hears and does not tell.
Love hopes and does not give up.
Love instills and does not corrupt.
Love joins and does not run over.
Love keeps and does not stray.
Love lives and does not stress.
Love manages and does not control.
Love persuades but does not discourage.
Love proclaims and does not hide.
Love questions and does not badger.
Love rejoices and does not displease.
Love sees and does not condemn.
Love talks and does not defame.
Love understands and does not misconstrue.
Love values and does not insult.
Love wants and does not ignore.
Love XOXOXOX and does not reject.
Love yearns, and does not insist.
Love zaps, and does not destroy.

LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

A requiem can faintly be heard
     in the springtime breeze
as dandelion's morph from gold
     blossoms to a crown of
seeds in downy tufts to begin their
     airborne journey to
germinate and recreate with a drive
     to survive even the
harshest weather, a plethora of
     pesticides, and weeding.

Ah, can not the feminine form be
     celebrated in comparison?
As her entourage of suitors lifts her
     spirits to soar blissfully
until she establishes that one special
     connection that causes
her bloom, that innate ineluctable
     calling to mate and procreate.
Though trials, illness, and hardships appear,
     future generations ineffably endure
in season's springtime, as love renews life.

Definition of anima:
NOTE: Just for the etymology of the word Anima dear, Connie! Anima, Animal, Animation and so on are words that come for the Greek word "Anemos" which in the Greek philosophy meant the divine wind which filled the universe and which wind "anemos" Man breathed in and became "Alive" animated!

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO IS INTREATED OF US

January 9 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 25-27

Key Verse – Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

FAITH IN GOD WHO IS INTREATED OF US

God is intreated of us in our days of adversity
Inside His goodness is where by faith, we dwell in His blessings’ bounty
Indeed, He brings us in His presence of serenity---
It fills our souls with contentment against feeling barren and empty.

God is intreated of us in our struggles
Inside His will is where by faith, we separate from sin-wiggles
Indeed, He delivers us from cunning worldliness-tangles---
It fires our spirits against fainting due to deceit-bugles.

God is intreated of us in our famine and nothingness
Inside His provision is where by faith, we stay with productiveness
Indeed, He charges us to obey His commands of purposiveness---
It finds our hearts satisfied in digging for genuine joyfulness.

God is intreated of us in our striving
Inside His might is where by faith, we abide for strength-receiving
Indeed, He builds us up while we submit to His divine carving---
It establishes our trust in His covenant to which we are cleaving.

God is intreated of us in our dimness of vision
Inside His light is where by faith, we behold His loving compassion
Indeed, He shines on us as we obey His voice for the great commission---
It brings our eyes to radiate with His truth’s infusion, conquering confusion.

God is intreated of us in our prayers’ fervency
Inside His wisdom is where by faith, we discern with urgency
Indeed, He answers us with His presence and mercy---
It moves our conviction to arise midst supplication-consistency.

God is intreated of us in our need-caused crying
Inside His protection is where by faith, we win over iniquities’ lying
Indeed, He sustains us from doubt, unbelief and anxiety’s sighing---
It breaks our yokes from vain and useless wearying. Amen!

Hyperbola

Curvature the plane to the point of distribution
Focus either latitude, asymptomotes are drawn;
Equalling hypotenuese with spiralling revolution
Discretely perpendicular to the course it set upon.

All prinicipals of axis are running through the centre
To rotate intersections where the vertices define;
A conic section tilted either left or right would enter,
Angled high perimeters where either halves entwine.

Visual the perspective where the foci separates
Each segment that establishes the gradual aim of low;
To benefit the lateral then where it penetrates
Is seen as the illusion and positions from below.

Illusion us to pivot sense, redeem the scheme as wise,
By having this as constant, to do with each, obeys-
The simple rule, coordinates whose will of gradual rise
Is probably a measured wrong, a hyperbolic maze.

Premium Member Unfinished Blitz

The Blitz Poem, a poetry form created by UNSUPPORTED CODE Robert Keim UNSUPPORTED CODE .

This form of poetry is a stream of short phrases and images with repetition and rapid flow.

Begin with one short phrase, it can be a cliché. Begin the next line with another phrase that begins

The third and fourth lines are phrases that begin with the last word of the 2nd phrase, the 5th and 6th lines
begin with the last word of the 4th line, and so on, continuing, with each subsequent pair beginning with the
last word of the line above them, which establishes a pattern of repetition.

Continue for 48 total lines with this pattern, And then the last two lines repeat the last word of line 48,
then the last word of line 47.

The title must be only three words, with some sort of preposition or conjunction joining the first word
from the third line to the first word from the 47th line, in that order.

There should be no punctuation. When reading a BLITZ, it is read very quickly, pausing only to breathe.

Testing the waters:

Dreams scattered
dreams mattered

Mattered much
mattered deeply

Deeply touched
deeply shattered

Shattered lives
shattered spirits

Spirits mending
spirits lending

Lending healing
lending feelings

Feeling hopeful
feeling faithful

Faithful words
faithful deeds

Deeds done
deeds undone

Undone damage
undone scars

Scars mark
Scars wounds

Wounds healed
wounds flesh

Flesh weak
weak sight

Sight see's
sight by faith

faith speaks
faith marches

Marches slower
marches with pace

Pace is slower

Premium Member A School Maths Tutorial

O.K., let’s see where you are with your math,
Which areas do we need to work through.
Algebra, space, number, or measurement,
Which topic do you need to review?

Today, algebra, a fantastically obtuse idea,
Instead of numbers, use letters, counting the ABC’s.
By the end of this tutorial you’ll love these letters,
Counting everything with ease.

Words like simplify, expand, and collect like terms,
Will become your new second diction.
Don’t use these letters like in tedious essays,
Nor like when expressing your poetic fiction.

Algebra strives to abbreviate everything,
Every single concept’s to be generalized.
It establishes an effective working formula,
Making it all neat, sleek, tidy, and stylized.

But don’t ask me who uses this at work,
Laborers, builders or for financial investments.
Just make sure you use it next Monday morning,
When you’re sitting your math exam assessments.

Premium Member The Job Is His

Sometimes you don't need to be right
If you are right all the time
does that mean you are perfect?
No chance
Only God is ever perfect
So don't even attempt
The quest is likely driving you crazy
because it is not meant to be
You are not meant to be
always trying to find the perfect solution
perfect way
perfect route
perfect no where
if you asked me
I could have told you that a long time ago
God will always try to outdo you
Whatever it is
Did I say "try"?
No my friend
Not "try"
He will outdo you
Don't even bother
Ahh perfection
Who needs it?
It's a lost cause
Know which way to go?
So how do you supposed to find the perfect way
See?
I will let things go which way
And see if that's the way
I am being rebellious
No that's called
'Go by the leading of the Holy Spirit'
It's not up to me to find the way
It's up to me to listen
to modify
justify, edify
But not to identify
solidify, clarify
It is up to God
The job is His
and His alone
Don't ever forget that
And we don't have a problem
Or do we have a problem?
Or problems?
Try to tell that to the Man
He's been telling us that for years
"The heart of man plans his way
But the Lord establishes his steps" (Proverbs 16:9)
"Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases" (Psalm 115:3)
Isaiah 14:24 "The Lord of hosts has sworn
'As I have planned, so shall it be
and as I have purposed, so shall it stand',"
So you see
- the job is His

Who Do You Think I Am

Life is much bigger than I imagined it could be,
There is more beyond the horizon of Hope through my Faith.
I am Uniquely made as seen by the different shades of me
With the out -bursting of colors depicting a side that some
May never know - happy and gay, rejoicing, celebrating, funny,
hilarious, witty, caring, loving, appreciative, satisfied.

Strong of character but often self-willed, and usually turn the "other
Cheek" too.
Reminiscing on good things in bygone days and share
Experiences, direct and indirect which propels the renewal of thoughts
of what could still be done,
By using learned knowledge and skills in other ways, I
Create, evolve, develop and initiate whatever God directs me to do.

I cannot imagine how vast a prospect God's Purpose is for me,
But I do remember that Life is much bigger than I imagine it could be!
So, I regurgitate past achievements to Capture the color and mix,
To be a fit in Society's go-getting World!

Emulating the Lord when He asked: "Who do men say that I am"?
I use the gift of penmanship to excavate what got hidden inside of me.
I endeavor to search deep within and skillfully share in philosophy,
Humanity, nature, emphatic for emotional and physical pain.
Look deep into my soul and glimpse what God sees
Simplicity does not mean "Walk All Over Me."

My pen gliding over the page as I write, can tell from images
"Painted" the true quality of me.
It establishes a "blueprint" like in the DNA when mRnA transforms
And transcribes " messages". So like the pens of Poets I opt to portray
The best of me, striving for that Perfect point to be
Released through the "window" of expertise that God loaned me.

God too is engaged in poetry as some Psalms of David show.
Like Reverse Mortgages He loans gifts and talents by beginning from the
first to the last. Thus, his subjects display talents with youth and taper
off with age.
Even switching from skill to skill, the "blueprint" is the same DNA.
What I develop, evolve or initiate, the background is the same!

The Roosevelt Elk

A beautiful, majestic creature, that walks with head up high with pride that stands as tall as a horse, with a rack of antlers with many points that looks like a crown on top of his head depending on how old he is, that he uses as a weapon against his foe , which are shed each year

Even though he has a heavy scent of musk he can pick up a scent carried hundreds of yards away if the wind is blowing his direction

His coat is thick and soft, with longer hair on the chest and shoulders of sable color, with a light brown body, and a cream-colored rump and no tail, their coat make it a habitat for fleas, because his coat is thick and soft it enables him to sneak through a thicket when he hears your nylon or denim clothes rake against a bush

Feeding on grasses, plants, leaves, bark, and including highbush cranberry, elderberry, devil's club blueberries, mushrooms, lichens, and salmonberries

He engages in ritualized mating behaviors during the rutting season to have his own Harem, that involves in posturing, urinating, tossing turf and fighting with his antlers, and bugling, a loud series of vocalizations which establishes dominance over other males and attracts females

A beautiful, majestic creature, that walks with head up high with pride that lives in the wide-open land with tall grass, under the canopy of Douglas –fir, cedar, and old growth stands and beautiful wild flowering azaleas

Premium Member Keep It Simple

Yes, He is approachable. No, He is not hidden or isolated.
Yes, He is an Infinite and Awesome Supernatural Being.
He introduces himself to us in the form of our own humanity and invites us into a personal relationship with Himself.
He demolishes all former barriers and walls of separation,
and establishes eternal bonds of one-on-one communication.

He is infused with simplicity, and immune to complexity.
He is not abstract and does not freeze my brain with questions too advanced for me. If he utters realities that are not understood by me, I neither worry nor experience frustration.
I understand that He is nt the author of confusionon but a Revealer of Truth, which is himself.

He is forbearing and redemptive; not judgmental
He is a most lovely Being; not a selfish unknown
He much prefers to forgive and ‘look over this’, than to condemn and ‘get you for that’.
If he had instincts, love would be at the very top.
Perhaps our first life instinct is self-consciousness.
Self-preservation is a natural for us. He requires no preservation; and if he has anything to preserve, it is us.

She Is

She's a part of my spirituality.
A gift of sunshine when darkness surrounds.
A fire starter. It only takes a spark for her to ignite me.
She's the staircase in my basement.
The first floor of heaven, we're making penthouse moves.
The Weezy in my hustle. The reason why my rhyme won't end.
The east side to a better life.
A star guiding an infant to a king.
My Christmas gift every month to include December.
A partner in crime for all time, in down time, no time,
one second left or before the ball is tipped,
she encompasses my entire existence.
My queen of pop "do you remember the time?"
See we needed then to have now. She's everything spiritual.
My stairway to climb. A record deal I didn't need to sign.
Pure platinum, she hangs on our wall. My song title.
The author of my greatest hit.
She's the connection of chronological order
Nostradamus could not predict.
She is that which establishes me.
The fulfillment of God's need.
My queen, better known as my best friend.
From ***** spirituals to the "reason why I sing."
Take her out the picture and Technicolor
would not have been invented.
It's black and white really.
She's my fifty shades of grey.
A treasure recaptured after disaster, can't lose her.
She's worth the fatigue you get from
holding on with a cliffhanger grip.
She is, she is, she is so that I could be...
It was God that told me.

They Both Desire To Rule- Nietzsche Recast In Poem

Ages there are in which the ration'l man
And th'intuitive stand side by side, the one

In fear of intuition, or scorn for abstraction;
Irrational one, the other inartistic.

They both desire to rule over their life,
Unreal or real, counting life to be.

Prudence, foresight and regularity,
The means with which one meets needs principal.

One o'erjoyed hero disregards these needs,
Counts life as beauty and an illusion.

As in the 'case in ancient Greece, th'intuitive,
Handles his weapons authoritatively,

Victoriously than his opponent, and
Establishes art's mastery over life.

All utensils we use in daily life,
Were made from art, not from our pressing needs.

Houses, our clothes, our clay jugs, all them were
Intended to express exalted joy.

Guided by abstractions and concepts, we
Succeeds in warding off our misfortunes,

Without ever gaining any happiness;
So that's the case the ration'l man's life is.

Th'intuitive man, aim freedom from his pain,
Standing a-firm amidst his culture's frame,

Reaps cheer, illumination and redemption.
Defense against misfortunes, he obtains.

I was once advised to read Nietzsche's 'On Truth And Lies In A Non-moral Sense.'I do not read Nietzsche; I sing it. I sing 'On Truth And Lies In A Non-moral Sense' this way. I am sad to observe that Nietzsche did not write it this way but in his eloquent flowing prose. Unfortunately, when I look at such prose and skim content, lines appear this way to me.

"The intensity of mutual affinity gradually turns passionate love into companionate love"

"Because different people react to different things differently at different points in
time, decency is a must to maintain order, largely because the human motive/intention
cannot be easily evaluated/determined/known"

"The higher the mutual affinity the greater the chance of achieving companionate love from passionate love"

"Love brings us all collectively, a step closer to realizing the truth and being partakers of the truth"

"The motive of any individual is one of the most difficult things that cannot always be easily determined"

“When the music of love surpasses the love of-for music then the world has started
realizing ~ knowing the truth ~ wisdom”

“In reality, the music of love dictates the pace of the rational love of-for music, not its understanding”

“The understanding of the music of love should induce orderliness”

“People’s love for music does not equate their understanding of the music of love”

“When the understanding of the music of love equates that of the love of-for music then
the truth has prevailed”

“When the need to know overcomes the need to be then will the music of love start equating
the love of-for music”

"A color reflects a perspective and the combination of colors reflects even more perspectives"

"Great orderliness is often always illogical-irrational to man"

NOTE

My definition

Affinity is that which aims-tends to increase proximity (whether physically or psychologically) , complement and or compensate similarities and or differences. It is that which establishes identity with another or in another based on or regardless of compatibility and it is facilitated by the need-urge to resolve-complete-stabilize-reach equilibrium with-in another.

Atthis: a Sapphic Ode 1

(Hardly anything is known about Sappho, but no-one seriously
doubts her greatness as a poet. She lived on the Greek island
of Lesbos (hence “Lesbian”) in the seventh century BC. All that
has survived of her work is a scattering of scraps, but even this
meagre evidence establishes her as one of the foremost poets
of all time.)

I.
Waking at dawn,
with lilac boats of cloud
threading through heaven's
cool aquamarine
like afterthoughts of night,
I yearn to sing of you
as prettily as I can,
to do you honour, Atthis,
and give pleasure to our friends.

Dawn crept into our room
in her sandals of gold
and, stooping over the bed,
kissed me free of sleep's lax bonds.

This life of ours is brief, Atthis,
so let us love without restraint.
We, two vermillion hyacinths,
lending our grace to a mountain path,
should blaze before
some shepherd, unknowing,
treads us underfoot
till all of us that remains
is a red stain in the sand.
It is a short flight
from dawn to night,
but do not despair, my love.
We will bestow it yet
with a thousand beauties.

I love everything that
caresses me. I love the hot wind
redolent of wild thyme,
and the strong, gentle hand
of the sun on my breasts.
I love the honesty of mountain water
and the gorgeous bloom
which freshens the gnarled gorse,
surprising him with happiness.
And yes, I love you too, Atthis,
with buttercups in your hair.
