Best Equalizer Poems
The sun will shine brighter tomorrow
When we learn to transform our sorrow,
For the terrors we witness today,
Hold the keys to build castles from clay ...
Thus, as hard as they are to impart,
Tragedies plant a seed in our heart,
To grow blooms from the horrors of men ...
And insure they don't happen ... again.

“TILL DEATH….THROW US.. A- PART Y!!”
(Death, truly an equalizer)
You may find it today
It comes in middle of the night/day
Casually,
Calmly,
Incidentally,
But, with finality!
Hope, though it's not deadly!
Without the coming of another day
When right at your door’s way
It may come knocking our way
It's God’s mysterious way - Judgment Day!
Instantly then sometimes indicatively
Exceptionally happy or emotionally
You and/or I waylaid, it could may
Young and old, may, by the way!
Thank Him for unlikely timely
To rest in a journey
In disbelief, yesterday or today
No McArthur’s way, somehow history!
Whether in shopping or hopping away
All the way not half way
It must make its way, certainly
Stiff and coldly, soon, only time vary!
Anyhow, cheer-up ,in this way
It could be a perfect day- an eternity
Come what may, boldly and heavenly
However, rosy and a Special Delivery!
Pray, pray and pray !
Meaning:
McArthur's Way: (History)
General McArthurs famous speech to the Filipino people: "I shall return"
A friend corned an expression that arrested me. I had heard something similar before, but not exactly the way he said it. I have not been able to get away from the depth of its meaning. In my heart, I was saying, "Wow, I have for the longest time felt that way, but now I have words to express it. In a class that my friend was teaching, we were speaking of issues that sometimes defy comprehension and often leave us in a state of wonder and questioning. We often feel alone in an answer-free zone.
In this mystery zone, God is there, but we are challenged by life's adversities, illnesses, and by walls and roadblocks of the theological variety. In this mortal life that comprises thrills of victory and agonies of defeat, sometimes we are only consoled by the words of my friend, "Eternity is the great equalizer".
Is it just me, or do you also feel that our prayerful pursuit for answers, truth, and understanding, often fall short of genuine satisfaction.? We feel that we have a right to know the rhymes and reasons; that we deserve to understand the times and seasons; that divine healing is our portion of 'the children's bread'. We feel that our God has given us the keys to unlock such doors of mystery. So as his dear children, we do not feel any way defiant as we stand
upon what we perceive to be His promises to us.
At the same time, if God chooses to leave us in a state of, "What, why me, how come and how long, who, where, and when?", our love for the Father and submission to Him and His Sovereignty must become and or remain standard-fare.
Yes, our hearts are pure and our prayers are genuine. Yet, sometimes we are left with a sense of, "If I must drink this bitter cup, it's okay Lord, it's in your hands, and I will always keep faith with you, trusting you no matter what to the very end because you, Father, more than myself or anyone else, know what is best for me". Yes indeed, my dear friend Bob said it best. "Eternity is the great equalizer. Therein, we find closure.

Death is the ultimate equalizer
who can't be bribed, bullied, or corrupted.
And He's an impartial sympathizer
when pain progresses uninterrupted:
and all your hopes and dreams get disrupted.
Who would want tyrants to live forever
without consequences for what they've done?
By forcing change, Death is very clever
in providing justice for everyone;
as Mother Nature's obedient son.
Within the mystical trappings of Death,
Faith touts promises of eternal peace.
And so, after breathing our final breath;
we will either witness our soul's release:
or, our self-awareness will simply cease.
Human and animal,
Are alike;
Death comes to all,
No matter how high you climb;
You can’t escape its wall.
Death comes to all;
It always hits its mark.
You can’t escape it’s wall;
Not even in the dark.
It always hits its mark;
With arrows of precision.
Not even in the dark;
Can you escape its decision.
Death makes no distinction;
It always hits its mark.
Exempting not one nation;
Not even in the dark.
Its prey is all-inclusive;
Death makes no distinction.
Awaiting, no excuses;
Exempting not one nation.
Death does not discriminate;
Its prey is all-inclusive.
No race escapes the claws of fate;
Awaiting no excuses.
As claws clench the unaware;
Death does not discriminate.
Blink an eye and it is there;
No one escapes the laws of fate.
Deaths rules will never bend;
No matter how high you climb.
Everything has an end;
Human and animal alike.
Death is the great equalizer,
it comes for poor and rich alike.
We are allotted a finite
period of time to exist.
Regardless of social standing,
death is the great equalizer.
There is no escaping that fact,
no matter what your status is.
At life's end, without exception,
no one procures an extension.
Death is the great equalizer,
all flesh and bone revert to dust.
Whether king or slave, we all die
when it's time for our life to end.
Despite wealth, power, or prestige,
death is the great equalizer.
Everything waits for its time
The sun also does not rise before its time
Just wait what is yours
Will surely come to you.
The waves of the sea rush to shore
Comes one wave at a time
It does not overlap its course
Rather waits to hurl its tempest.
Sometimes, the hardest life makes us wander
We elbow things for our immediate necessity
Be at peace, leave that to the pigs
Let us use time for our good advantage wisely.
Time is the equalizer of all things
The world is under the mercy of its ticking
Everything has end, before that is all excitement
The mystery of it all is the ending of life.
Grand Equalizer!
A true lot to ponder
Death is the Grand equalizer.
What shall come next?
Depends on,
What one
Had done,
And His Mercy
