If I have the time, I’ll wait eons, to greet you in scarlet dawn
As you marvel its vermillion garb embossing marigold arc
Emanating golden sparks, piercing hazy contours of dark
While gilded ripples glisten pond, where floats a snazzy swan.
Listen I’ll, to the music of morn, in songs of gentle breeze
Quivering new growth on barren trees where chickadees sing
Shedding dread of winter, in adoration of vibrant spring
As you thrill in waltzing hills, where green conifers wheeze.
Ambling through idyllic meadows of my coveted dreams
I’ll emerge in gilt-sunshine on silken petals glinting dew
Where pink and purple rosy blooms enliven to enchant you--
Meeting you where giggling streams glitter in amber beams.
By your side in a quiet spot, I’ll watch the sparrows fly by
Hopping from branch to branch in euphoric random dance
Scurrying suddenly in curvy flight, inviting your glance
Celebrating freedom, flying high, into expansive blue sky,
And compose a chapter of doting allegory in romantic glory
Lingering in hearts where cadent verses of desires sway
Turning up the tempo, letting life’s ravishing rhythms play
As hours and days accumulate slowly, into eternal love-story.

In snowflakes’ sunlit souls - an amber chest,
orange, yellow, blushing red impassion
resplendent ember hues of stained-glass zest,
vivid vibes enliven snow from ashen.
Inspired bliss of shining kiss on pale snow,
with delicate caresses Sol imbued
highlights to saturate the talc aglow
romancing frosted facets’ fiery mood.
Warm spectrum seeps across the crystal white
as sleepy sunbeams stir the embers’ heart,
igniting jewel tones before twilight
frost bitten festival of arctic art.
Illuminated thrills in chills impress
in ruby rapture sunset's snow does dress.

"Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch ,but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same"
(Quote by: Helen Keller)
LOVE, what mystique power, it wields
What bumper dividends it yields
At times, IS LIKE an ache so coy to reveal
Or A BEAUTIFUL urge, hard to conceal
As brilliance to stars, fragrance to a FLOWER
Music to flute or shade to a bower
Love dwells and thrives in heart’s inner shrine
Connecting souls as by magic with a bond divine
Some times, we feel it as a deep sensation
Sprouting in us strong surges of emotion
WHICH enliven every atom of our being
Filtering down from top to bottom, nourishing and healing
I MAY sometimes ignore its fervent call
But will NOT undervalue its merits tall
Oh, Love! Thy virtues I will defend
Though seasons change and youth does end
Love is a magic talisman to TOUCH the heart
Filling the void, never leaving any dearth
It makes the mind go upbeat in prosody
Changing every sensation into a rhapsody
The red red Rose that emanates radiance
Surrounded by thorns, BUT WHOSE FRAGRANCE
Everyone inhales, MAKES THE GARDEN
A PLACE of perennial beauty as one OF Eden,
Love soothes and stills every ache of the heart
Filling it with DELIGHT, propitiating a new start
It is like the cool touch of spray in the horrid heat of noon
Or on a humid day, a splash with friends in the lagoon
Love sublime, JUST like a candle lit
Consumes itself, but keeps on giving light
It dispels THE gloom and cleanses the dirt
Invigorating the soul and healing every hurt
In ups and downs, love remains the SAME
Lighting the world with love should be our aim
It is on the axis of love that the world spins round
Tt is the panacea curing all the ills which surround!

Never felt obliged
To ask the soil for her thoughts
Before I planted my seeds
Watered and weeded and fertilized
With hands guided by my heart
Not only do I doubt
If she would have given consent
I honestly don’t know
If she would have welcomed
My yearning soul into her home
Of warm, brown earth
Softened by sun and rain
Breathing only precious beads
Of dewdrop dreams
And autumn leaves decaying
Into the depths of her tenderness
Never once did I feel the need
To ask this loam for permission
To plant the flowers and vegetables
The fruits and scrumptious herbs
Which gave me so much sweetness
To feed my palette and vista
I wonder what she would have said
If I’d only asked, possibly pled
For the chance to plant a seed or two
Give into the soil’s longing for compost
To nourish her and give her sustenance
Cuisine made up of manure and muck
Meant to provide her with nutrients
Food to enliven, enlighten and brighten
Her dreams of good things so she’d thrive
Still, I remained silent in my guilt
Stealing her dirt with my shrubs
Never giving her the opportunity to say
If she was ok with my cultivating
Plowing and growing in her reservoir
Of soft, warm soil meant for a nursery
A garden of hopes and dreams and ideas
Gentle lights fading into the shadows
Behind the oaks and pines, where I grew
Truths that remembered to pray
For the sunshine and the rain
The food that would sustain
My stolen garden, grown without consent
From the heart of the earth’s glorious gifts

You’re the word “kind” in my kindness
You make the world a much better place
You’re the answer to a yearning prayer
You create for me such an amazing grace
You’re the feeling behind my warm words
You touch my heart in hues of crimson joy
You’re wise, inspiring and filled with insight
You are more playful than the newest toy
You’re the water behind the sea’s wonders
You give hope to the most weary of hearts
You’re a answer to a prayer for sweet mercy
You enliven the sun’s beam with finest arts
You’re the one who knows how to give fully
You are a brilliant and simple faith in paradise
You’re splendidly arrayed in beautiful mysteries
You twinkle like starlight born of gentle sacrifice
You’re alive with beautiful colors, blushing aromas
You throw moondust into the wind’s caressing sigh
You’re a beacon of promise awakening serenity
You grow sage amid the dreams that come nigh
You’re the cure to those illness’ that wreck dreams
You comfort away the transgressions of the past
You’re always faithful to the spirit’s idea of peace
You reflect the happiness which comes down to last
You’re a hint of all the goodness that lives within
You assure the faint of heart that they will come through
You’re gentle, considerate and always so true to love
You give my heart feelings that hold it together like glue
You’re encouraging, generous and filled with affection
You make this life a better place to live, give and feel
You’re a moment that comes around to ensure success
You know that love from above will fate surely seal

The sweet-sour scent of waning hay
drifts to town from nearby fields,
pleasing all walkers with an edgy peace.
While autumn gusts enliven shadows,
the wavering moon turns sheets to ghosts,
and disguises reveal diverse fancies.
The mind evokes bewitching specters
cavorting like bats on their nightly hunts,
quickening the pace of parent and child.
Spooky music beckons from porches,
conjuring up faux frights and terrors,
as diffuse mysteries tug at innocence.

Lies glamour gossip and Earl Grey tea
turbulent tales boiling in China cups
elegant sacraments of blue-haired ladies
pinkies stuck up in the air, hiding their
anger or boredom or feeling their own
despair.
Crimson glass roses feathers and jewels
crowned with wide-brim hats, trimmed
gloves, lace fans and perhaps some pearls
are appealing to these extravagant, fast
and proper old girls
The guild does not approve of
cola,
tortilla chips or
piercings of the tongue.
Invitation is by Tea Bag only. merely
a device to project the status of a
proper and affluent wife.
Shaved legs polished nails and GiGi’s
Brazilian waxing will enliven you as a
part of the crowd, but may be a little
bit taxing.

Applauding sun’s halo~ inspiring, rewarding,
Mindfully I rise with the ebullient awakening
Letting soul enliven while robins are singing
And horizon crimson glimmers in dawning.
I hold time still for the blossoms of spring,
Rivers that burble sprucing green prairies
And blue tides bouncing summer’s revelry
And resplendent dazzle of autumnal leaves.
Every memento of love I treasure in delight,
In embrace of family, I cheer life sublime
Rejoicing when I sense success in their eyes
Celebrating milestones of things done right.
Realizing I own a mere fraction of eternity
Elated I feel holding just a speck of infinity
Succeeding more often than failing or quitting
Coping resolutely with poor hand of destiny.
I shun nightmares, choosing dreams of night
Lifting troubled mind when grief occupies,
When darkness rules, I invoke moonlit skies
And paint on visage of hope blissful smiles.
I yearn not for the ships that already sailed,
Regret not having tried the conquests I failed,
But I chase prospects of aspirations deferred
Yet, remain focused on things that matter.

Extolling rebirth, dreams pristine cajole,
Resurgence to tranquility of frozen knoll,
Longing verdant-realms to enliven its soul
Where wintry-decay exacted dreary toll.
When warmth glistens avid golden rays
Glinting gloominess of parched malaise,
Hope rejuvenates where prairies blaze
Reviving aspirations of despaired days.
Blossoming reveries of season restore
Winsome buzz of sprouting meadows,
Adorning nature-abloom brought to fore
Repristinating terrains withered in throes.
Chasing blue seas, buoyant rivers flow,
As dormant ambitions thaw glacial woe
And glances shimmer from smiles aglow
Lauding daffodils budding through snow.
When horizons fuchsia glimmer dawn,
Days sparkle vigor, affirming dull is gone,
And season’s revelry propagates again
Where flexing ebullience butterflies reign.

Lifeless shiver the decaying meadows
Where blizzards of winter exact a toll,
Freezing foliage in autumnal throes;
Dimming ambitions of parching knoll.
Golden beams glimmer dreams of dawn
Soothing miseries of trembling night,
Now that splendorous autumn is gone,
Sprinkling delight on withering blight.
Season of snows flaunts nature aglow
Where rivers freeze, struggle to flow,
Prairies enliven, donning falling snow;
While mountaintops adorn glacial glow.

Quest For Eternal Love
no oasis in sight just blazing sand dunes
a promised land foretold seems forsaken
resolve eroding within need to be enliven
my mind yearns to ease emotive wounds
eyes intensely drifted beyond deep space
where in silence this angelic face appears
our hearts touch shedding unbridled tears
in search of an everlasting warm embrace

The solidity
of identity
with senses and mind
is designed to bind.
Save coming undone,
nothing need be done,
which means stop thought flow
in staid stillness slow.
Sans thought who are we
or without body;
who else but God's light
and bliss beats delight?
When heart's our centre,
we feel love enter
and enliven form
by magnetism warm.
God resides within,
so let us go in
imbibing His grace
at an easy pace.

A super seismic year
Eargasmically one to revere
Sweet pulsating sounds
Bebop starting to slow down
Yes! A new, brand new form from an "OLD"
A new form that is undefined but feels good to the soul
A new direction that's unclear;
Improvisation is supreme with creativity filling the atmosphere
1959
A year so divine
One of a kind
Built to stand the test of time
Feeling "Kinda Blue", so I'm gonna take some "Time out."
Miles and Brubeck delivering now, and fans beginning to see what this is all about
Oh, yeah! "Mingus Ah Um"
"The Shape of Jazz to Come"
Charles and Ornette standing tall, too
Jazzing on a musical flight to a "New"
Liftoff to the 'Birth of Cool'
Flying high and jazzing through music's vestibule
Then there is mighty 'Mambo de Cuco' in sweet and savory 'Sabroso.'
Santamaria serves zesty flavors to enliven the palate, which makes it hard to say no
Yes!

Everybody bears a price tag
Claim tycoons with bottomless purses
With a plethora of dollars to flash and flag
About to entice simpletons who deem their lives struck by curses
Inserted in their DNA
Generations ago
Which render them incapable to shove away
Bets of cash their stricken spines can’t forgo
While stomachs groan and lips
Demand smartphones, mascaras and lipsticks
Deployed to slay chaps with wanton whips
That cut and slice with savage kicks
On pates gone wan with insomnia
As limousine driven juggernauts
Splurge huge wads of notes to catalyze mass hysteria
Among street corner astronauts
Whose flight to Cupid exoplanet
Fell on its face
As moral worth net
They chose to suppress
In the face of perennial penury
That nibbles homesteads bereft of meals
In January
When cash overloaded sovereigns strike asymmetric deals
In which they beat down the cashless
Unless the poor rebuff cash offers
Preferring the famine and thirst the voiceless
Endure twenty four seven cos their coffers
Cash they’ve never seen
Cos fate shifted the balance of resources in favour of the few
Who more often than not turn out mean
To taunt the poor who shift on a church pew
As a tycoon blurts, ‘There’s a price tag on you
The sooner you acknowledge the reality
The better your world will enliven anew
As on you my bucks bestow and restore dignity in humility.’

The sweetest love I ever knew,
Was a secret love not given.
A sublimating ecstasy--
A symphony from Heaven.
A verb without an object;
A means without an end.
A jasmine scented sweetness
On the summer evening wind.
One fleeting season of my life,
Of throbbing, tender glory,
When on the pages of the book
Was penned an unread story.
Then, deep within my virgin heart,
Unscarred by love vows wasted,
Dwelt dreams of rapture yet unknown,
Of vintage wine untasted.
But then, as happens with all fools,
There came the tragic day,
When, to the sorrow of my soul,
I gave my love away.
Now, love unwisely given
Is, often, love refused.
Like a rose rejected by the wind,
Shattered, crushed and bruised.
If only, now, the power were mine
That blossom to enliven,
It would bloom again within my soul,
That glorious love not given.
