This beautiful rose
She cries as the dark abyss
Engulfs her moment

Her flaming petals
Screaming as combustion takes
The blackness confirms

Engulfed

Captured within this moment with thoughts inside my head.
Drowning myself in sorrow while thinking about the dead.
Bombs bursting all around me with thoughts of yesterday.
Wishing things were different but what on earth can I say?

Captured within this moment with thoughts of yesterday.
Trying hard to understand why things ended up that way.
A little life was taken, this is so hard to understand.
Constantly asking myself, Why was this in the Master’s plan.

Captured within this moment can’t you plainly see.
Questions, questions all around are drowning inside of me.
If only I knew the answer, to all of this my friend.
I could have some comfort and find real peace within.

Speaking with my sister-in-law on this morning about the tragedy that
Took place on Nov.7th-2007, the death of little Jeremiah. We found ourselves “
engulfed within the moment”……

Dedicated to all the true lovers out there...

There is love

And then... there is LOVE

That overwhelming, “take over your every thought” love

That longing to “forever be in someone's arms” love

That “I can't function without you” love

Anyone who has truly known this love

Knows exactly what I'm writing of

It's overwhelming down to the core

It engulfs us

Nothing else is of any consequence

It's all consuming, life changing, it gives reason for life

Through the years, I thought I had experienced it

I was wrong

Nothing compares in the slightest

To the love I feel now

For the sweetest lady I have ever had the good fortune to know

I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth

I won't question why

I will just revel in it's warmth, in the sheer and utter ecstasy

Nothing well ever equal this rapturous feeling

This unequaled joy

After meeting and having the love of the sweetest person I have ever known

I have now lived life to the fullest

There is no longer anything greater

There is love

And then... there is LOVE

An overwhelming sensation that can't be described

I am engulfed

Engulfed In White

Under
 the darkened cloudy stars
    The snowy covers
                   over

You write

In the snow

My name is gone,

Engulfed In Passion

ENGULFED IN PASSION

My truth is my heart
my heart speaks the
truth,
so listen well for grander
Is our youth,
‘twas not long ago
yet so near to dear
that we met on that
silvery beach;
and as we counted the shells,
and the waves in the brakes,
and the stars that were within our reach,
something happened,
very slight at first;
but something was
definitely there
as we found ourselves
engulfed in passion…
and floating on the ocean
Air

Rainy moments a cup of tea
go together beautifully;
Engulfed in everything carefree,
pour down on me, pour down on me;

Give me just a taste of your sound,
capture me and leave me spellbound;
Catch me as I fall to the ground,
when you’re around, when you’re around.

Engulfed In His Gift

I thought about you today.
Your eyes like the sea in fall.
Your body tall and strong.
Your passion.
Thoughts about you today.
Mind vibrant with thoughts..questions.
Souls dripping with desire.
You're mine.
Not to control or contain.
To love.
In sentiment..
Our chemistry completes my essence.
I soak up the desire you feel for me..
never have I felt before.
Refulgence is in our kiss..our touch.
Our hearts beat together..
surrounded by the light.
Intellection's of you today..
Our Lords gift to one another.
We complete the circle of Love..
A circuit without an ending.
Thankful..but so grateful..
to experience Gods Gift.

Silence Engulfed Her

Lost in deep thought as she refuses
to blink;her mind on a wild chase
to stop this race,as her gaze accuses-
many for making her fall out of grace,
She was once loved and cherished than diamond,
Her words sweeter than honey to the ear,
Her shining teeth made men change their routine,
Young girls saw a role model and a dear,
But now all these turned blur and can't be seen,
Emotion toiled with to make her callous,
Which was not in her mind and off her kind,
She now stares at the sky, which is serious,
Silence engulfed her,as she prays for soul
redemption and begging nature to play its role .

Engulfed

My tears aren't enough
to stop the flames.

The Smoke settles in
to dim the blame.

Its already taken my heart.

Stop this inferno 'fore
it turns me hollow.

Leave me charred
to drown in sorrow.

Clear the ash
so I can breathe tomorrow.

Soft whispers
of green breeze in leaves,
incense blooms.
Summer heat
is everywhere that I turn.
Sun falls through the trees.

Engulfed By By a Tsunami

“Buzz buzz”, the anopheles shrilled the night
As with hunger on grasses, they slumbered without light
Babies, held against skeleton milkless breasts
And gnashing teeth, the men in dispiritedness beat their chests.

The greybearded simply await their knell to toll
And in agony, the brisk and spry watch their fall
As they, starving, grow thinner and thinner
Fully aware they would grace the coyote’s dinner.

Kwakwa, my village smokes no longer
Deserted of people and animals even to the border
For the peasant farmers of this poor village
Now repose at the mercy of Biya’s heinous rage

Pa Bossom’s charred body graced the stake
For being asleep while others, awake
Beholding red, took to their reliable heels
As bullets battered the meek and echoed over the hills

From Bamenda to Buea I now repose
For my life has no purpose
As biya’s gun dictate when I flex
Myself, I keep asking ‘when would I be next?’

Engulfed

All pretenders drowning slow,
lungs to fill with every breath

Casted off amongst the waves,
nothing spoken to redress

Treading water, spewing lies,
legs to flail in wasted states

Choking from each word unsaid
—trailing death within my wake

Engulfed

Engulfed in the adventures,
Life my gave;
Had Soul forgotten, madly
Loved Her I;
That once my Heart, was grasped,
by Her Hands Warm,
That I, in eyes, used once, to get in lost;
It is, that now, dwells hate,
in deep, my Heart.

EVERYTHING BLACK NOT BAD ENGULFED IN DARKNESS

Darkness, all around me
Sadness is beautiful
          Everything black not bad
           Everything dark not mad

The blackness engulfs me
Gladness liberty fears me
           Everything black not bad
           Everything dark not mad

And the cold of this heart
Shield me from the love of God
           Everything black not bad
           Everything dark not mad

And the cold of mankind, never surrendering
Never praising Him
The blackness engulfs me
Gladness liberty fears me
And the cold of this heart
           Everything black not bad
           Everything dark not mad
Hope isn’t lost within luck
Faith is the force that turns up
So what’s your problem?
Been burden to often
           Everything black not bad
           Everything dark not mad
