Love that curves with curving roads
Emerges on to shining meadows
And looks back for the message it delivers
To the dawn of fragile tomorrow.

Love that sinks to deep valleys
Often remembers the mountain peaks
Uncertain of the crossings today
Reminiscing joy of ethereal yesterday.

A romance of champagne and roses
Aches for the meaning of excesses,
Having been to places of ardent treasure
Love yearns for unassuming pleasure.

A genuine love is never the glitter
That shallow feelings randomly flutter,
A true love eminently captivates
Sincere attraction of natural demeanor.

When a call of authenticity awakens
A musical echo reverberates the sound,
And the rhythm of melodic souls
Surrenders in embrace of tender hearts.

Love Story

Oh, how I remember days full of ardent cheer
Enamored in prospects of romance so sincere!
Believing love so precious would never end
Floating on emotions that eagerly befriend.

Despair then ravished my young tender heart
And all my aspirations suddenly blew apart.
He never told me what caused him to flee,
Walking out of my life without even telling me.

How gullible of me to believe untruths he said
Letting him seduce love, taking me for granted.
Gladly you found me when I was hopeless wreck,
As shattered dreams trailed a tragic heartbreak.

Now I adore how you hug me with gentle care,
Approaching me softly with a joy of teasing dare,
Loving me deeply like no one has ever before,
Embarking on a journey our love would explore.

Your loving hands hold me as if a delicate flower,
As you surrender tenderly like you wish to cower,
Whispering as a moth whirling breeze of fresh air,
Burning my flame eminently with a loving flare.

Then we travelled to vistas of kingdom unseen,
A paradise of enduring love fit for king and queen,
There I surrendered me as you fondly appealed
As union of our anxious desires eagerly fulfilled.

Now as you contemplate pending wedding bells
I'm desolate to admit what my wary heart foretells,
My sweet love I regret deeply how this will end
As I have fallen in love with your sexy best-friend.

Whispers

How can I ever forget the evening we first met
Under the twilight of placid sun about to set
When your sweet whispers ably set me afire
As I embraced in earnest your loving desire.

You held me close intently as if for ever
In language of sweet love eminently clever
Inviting the peeking moon to join our affair
As a distant star blushingly glared with flair.

Lyrics of our romance resonated in my ear
As rhythm of our hearts echoed with cheer
Revealing tenderly a tale of heavenly bliss
Singing sweet nothings with a passionate kiss.

Your urges grew steadily more meaningful
Each time your verses called me beautiful
Intimating fondly that I occupied your mind
Towering to heights only true love can find.

We told each other wishes always come true
For love we own is granted to a select few,
As happiness willingly resides in our hearts
Bonded with admiration that never departs.

As your eager vibes pronounce our love anew
Every word of passion draws me closer to you
Conveying me to fervent places I never knew
Craving for your touch as our feelings renew.

Discourse of love resonates with adoring smile
As we revel in romantic talk avidly fragile
And echo of our minds reverberates with a sigh
Enamored in angelic love that will never die.

Happy Tuesday

You are so grown now.
11 years old and seem like 26.
No mom, just me, and you are happy,
Thank you, God, for the gift of patience.
Honor student, eminently popular and talented.
Long hair, beautiful eyes and just as clumsy as me.
So smart for one so young, innocence lost.
Still want to be tickled good night, baby girl.
Daughter, friend, roommate, partner, goofball
You fill so many roles in my life.
You have made parenting so easy for me
Thank you, daughter. No reason. Happy Tuesday.

CONFOUNDED ( COLLABORATION )

by~ S.Jagathsimhan Nair

When tension grips and the head reels
In its ever accelerated twirl
When two rays dangle from two flayed poles,
And the dumb loss of a moment’s truth
Looks so conspicuous and an eminently
Forgettable lapse of an inoffensive world
When the gentle genre to which the slamming
Of an ever open door in the face of
The rare perspicacity and purpose shown
By a soul, a land and a generation belongs
Looks so commonplace; when the benign
Visitor’s countenance does indeed despair
And crave a black visor above the originality
Of its expansiveness and the staggering degradation
Of its vitality; I have this great ache’s abundance
Stirring in my cupped palms, held out in supplication,
Till it rests, for an ever lasting understanding
Ever in the vision, ever into its aftermath.

by~ p.d.

The "aftermath" of any loss seems to consist in any form.
An aster plea subsiding every look.
Behind glory behind redemption~
Giving rest to the velocity speeding force
Creations of fantasy and religion and imagination
I paint the skies with my fingertips, to feel the mass
The world trembles at the knowledge of relativity.
"I sit in displeasure, injecting every generation into my veins!"
New born babies, born into this puzzled abyss.
Bewildered minds accepting stupendous addictions.
A poison to taste every sunrise,
Forbidden tongues baffle the night
Mental representation, stirring up conflict
Foiled toes to hold and worship.
Steady vision behind these eyes so confounded.

Lie's My True Idyll

My cottage becomes a mystical Universe In retirement beyond the World.
Eminently perched along side the river Towy,
Lie’s my True Idyll.
I survey the ever changing landscape,
from here to where the river reaches
“The Sky.”
Below, shimmers of waters. That ever flow
and flow without pause.
Only to be broken, by the splashes of the
allusive Brown Trout whilst feasting upon
the hatching of the Elegant May Fly.
In broken channels Salmon lie, in their
quest to swim upstream to spawn
“ as many will die.”
Above us ‘ Day-Blind Stars ‘ awaiting
to take their turn at night.
The warm breath of a Spring breeze,
tickles the fur of the Bumble Bee.
Now! with splendour and vigour,
a profusion of growth with every tree.

In readiness to give birth to ‘buds’, cut
like Beautiful Emeralds.
To sit and listen, whilst each Wild Bird
heartfully sings each song twice.
Behold danger as a Goss Hawk ,
lives here too!!
The adventureous Egeret walks upon air.
Mirrored by still pools, as he stands to stare.
A duck streches her wings to reveal her brood;
A single tear of joy she sheds.
Across the flow, grassing herd of Cows
to lick the morning honey dew.
As the rain drops fall from Swallows wings.
To ‘Kiss a blaze of Meadow Flowers’.
A Dragon fly, pauses to rub a leg over its head.
A Spider plays ‘ hide and seek’ within the hedge,
to the ‘barks’ from the Jack Russell.
I am in Heaven. All that I survey,
“Enriches our Souls “

Extensions of the Girl

She was eminently qualified in numbers
Held fast to the beliefs in physical objects
Felt every molecule down to her mortal soul
Religion guided Sue through water and soil
Down in the mud of love
Prayer lined up on the side of God
A tool most useful in the invisible realm

If not

She was locked in tangibles
Sherlocked away to wait for Easter
Buried under a stone most uncomfortable
Undetected
To be deduced, from what is and what is not

Thereby order could be restored on Sunday
Drilled down to the atomic level of abomination
Established first by logic in the seventeenth century
Light won't pass through the ways of reason
Being solid as it stands

Where souls split into the Adam unnatural at Evening
All men are created equal to their mortal core

The Iliad and Odyssey are read and dead
In another language long and gone

Sue knows Greek as a 5 letter word
Greek know Sue more than you know

Trojans were of another kind of clan
Spoke Luwian at length
Cuneiform or hieroglyphic characters carved

Souls starved for more attention than misunderstanding
Stood out in their own reflection
Crawled home in a holy hole for protection

Flashlights are not prescribed for reading Homer
We recommend Sue's interpretation of the past

Objects in Archeological pockets are counted
Sins glow in the dark inspected
Calculated to the numerical physicality of being
Extolled by Sue who knows such things
Gold is found without tools to grasp the meaning
Souls unearthed remain with words unspoken
English is not an ancient tongue
Extensions take the dig
Can only go so far
Sue knows who you are
Before it starts

And when an hour’s trial and a moment’s judgement
Bide time in the halls of eternity
I get this call upon me to my concept’s elucidation
And this urge to its sound espousal
But in a brief and breathless pass upon a syllable
When I catch the trail left of a wayward home coming
I find eunuchs elucidating emancipation’s final flowering
In its lone path of glory.
And for once I lose my heart, I lose my sensibilities
The stupendous reversal of a progression of faith
Finally does catch up with me
Annulling this reckless gambler’s momentary wins
But who is now going to pay up its hefty price
And take home the horrid truth.

Endure the travails of somber night
To emerge in bliss of golden sunrise,
Let the fleeting storm pass you by
To spot a rainbow on opaline skies.

Entrust your own founding thoughts
And form your informed paradigm,
Trade not for spurious vacant-prose
Your enriching voice versed in rhyme.

Appreciate your share of sunny days
But also, those of drenching rains,
For they are both eminently essential
To produce bountiful harvest of grains.

Upon falling from your ambitions
Endeavor to rise again and again,
Questing always to reach higher highs
Of worthy goals you wish to attain.

No one fighting on battlefield of life
Sans hurdles unfailingly succeeds,
Yet, success is the enriching feature
Of all endearing, purposeful deeds.

Dwell not in the world of transience
When your aspirations quest forever,
Trounce firmly every sigh of failure
From pursuit of a gratifying endeavor.

Follow the fire in halo of your soul
And rise boldly to tether your claim,
Then look up to arc of life’s horizon,
Watch your fate emboss your name.

Traffic Lights

Discernment often resembles a fable
When translating the language composed by women
As tantalizing as these creatures may be
Various medleys of gestures so fallaciously are given

On certain occasions it appears that
One’s efforts have been green lit
When so suddenly red flags are discovered
Dancing amidst the clouds

Gradually the entire project
Grows to be eminently disheartening
Women, the puppeteers that they reflect,
Behave as if the universe
Is a ******l duplication
Although society may deem that laughable
The results of such callousness
Quite strangely are familiar…

Ave Artificial Life

Hey there Avidian
who do you
think you are?

Some rara avis
eminently gifted?
a New Age prophet
with memory that learns
and yearns to grow?
Ovidian offspring
of eminent domain?

The yeuk to replicate, this
antsiness to clone— were they
preprogrammed hyper-neatly?
How did your being
and becoming
come to be?

Who gave you the right
to call yourself life?
What instilled in
your cerebral traits
an avid urge for more?

Endowed by your Creator
with neural networks
that open evolving paths
to rival what brain
I know as mind…

Characterized
as organisms
genetically coded,
to be or not to be
intelligent in form
and feature—

Though digital we
both you and I be
each in our own
artificial mannerisms—

reproducing
natural shape-shifting
permutations
procreating
mutant innovations
actuating
willful obsolescence

(ay may well
all come to pass
amen)—

Still
the thought of you
gives me the fantods.

(If you don’t see what I mean,
get thee to a glossary.)

By My Hands

Mass suffering placed solely upon me
The weight of the world worn as a scarf,
A stray straw away from snapping at the spine;
Like the parched camel roaming the desert—empty
A lone rider returned to the earth

Mirages of something splendid before me
gone in an instant, vanishing beneath the sands;
A drowning sea of palpable strain
Pleading to breathe—choking
Death’s hand around my brain,
life’s hand around my throat

A brighter side of suicide
beams beautifully through my pane,
A tempting vision of an escape before me
A life more radiant in its passing—freedom,
the freedom to break the stranglehold—death,
death is imminent, most eminently, by my hands

Just a glance sparked a fire of love that burned so pristine
As a farm-girl fell for a handsome farm-hand of her dream.
Love blossomed like early Spring, though both were married,
A romantic desire flamed spirits as love-affair quickly rallied.

Families broke apart as forbidden love soon got them fired,
In an act of defiance they stayed strong, eminently inspired.
A farm of their own arose from the ashes of evident despair,
Business gallantly prospered through hard work and prayer.

Luck turned as her husband was struck by incurable disease,
His ex-wife, a nurse, assisted as they buckled at the knees.
The farm-girl, discouraged, but unwilling to surrender hope,
Sought help from ex-husband to manage the farm and cope.

With awakened heart, nurse soon rekindled their passion
And patient gladly accepted, regretful of his past action.
Farm grew immensely when farm-girl took up the cause
And ex-husband moved close to her, into a farmhouse.

Lives turned upside down as suddenly sick husband died,
Amid her grief, farm-girl pondered what fate has implied.
She imagined her life with ex-husband where it once was,
Only to find his new girlfriend moved into the farmhouse.

Like ebb and flow of life filled with grief and compassion,
Love on farm meandered through arms of fate and passion.
Yet unwritten there was love's one more fateful decision:
Farm-girl walked off her land for good into wistful oblivion.

Braced For War

Braced for War

The atmosphere is rigidly braced.
The boots of warriors are tightly laced.
Water horns are filled to the brim.
Staples in saddlebags bulge their rims.

Armies flank the four winds in preparation
Lightening in their eyes they fight for creation.
Warrior shields are cleaned and polished bright
Reflecting the sun, thwarting the enemies sight

Swords are drawn waiting for the command.
Wrath in their wings their victory will stand.
Below, the shadows cowardly shutter.
Finding they have lost their Rutter.

Destruction is eminently at hand.
Living in houses built on sand.
When the shout for war arrives.
Earthquakes cause the seas to rise.

The sun will shift from its course.
Chaos arrives on a big white horse.
Floods will quickly clean the earth's face.
As shadows disappear without a trace.

Dwellers of the human race will part.
Light will be lifted and darkness will depart.
What was will be left a wasteland
darkness is removed by His hand

A sanctuary of creation is reborn
poured out from Heavens
water horn

Premium Member Sure Cure For a Sick Nation

Alas, we've elected bozos on both sides to again guide the nation!
(Some folks are sobbing in their ale, others are filled with jubilation!)
To rid this great nation of such knaves, here is what I would propose:
Elect retired noncoms who are well qualified to lead, heaven knows!

Noncoms are known for their integrity and by the way, lead from the front!
They don't take shhhtuff from anyone and are known to be rather blunt!
There should be a crusty Master Chief to head the Navy overseeing the fleet,
And a Marine Gunny Sergeant should occupy every congressional seat!

A Staff Sergeant who's been in the trenches should be the Secretary of Defense.
Chief Master Sergeants qualify for the oval office (Obama, take no offense!)
Sergeants First Class would eminently qualify for the Secretary of Labor.
They'd put deadbeats to work so as not to mooch off their neighbor!

There's a horde of Navy Petty Officers who'd qualify for Treasury Secretary,
Who've faithfully paid their taxes unlike some Yale czars to the contrary!
There's a brigade of Sergeants Major who'd excel as the Secretary of State,
Who'd tell other nations where to go if they didn't deal with us straight!

Master and Technical Sergeants are well qualified to occupy a governor's chair.
Their prime concern is the welfare of folks, not just building castles in the air!
Retired Noncoms are a special breed who believe in and uphold the Constitution!
Patriots who'd oust the current clowns, some of whom qualify for a mental institution!
