Best Eis Poems
A gathering of whispers travel from breath to breath,
much like trains picking up chattering gossips along its
route. With breath held, they stand and wait to join the
last exhale of the wretch standing on the hanging platform.
Whilst a judge washes the atrocity from a hand that held
a vacillating gavel. Forced into a considered judgement,
his conscience is clear. Much as a whip of feathers
forces the killer into killing more. Whilst the birds
above scream a lurid act of contrition for the return of
such pathos, their miniature thoughts oscillating between
current events and the feeding of hungry chicks. And hubris
carries a last meal beneath distaining eye, lost to nature's
sight, as it nears a fading gaol door. And whisper's finger
crawls around the corner, ready to cosette a neck held within
a gallows noose; hanging bulged against the fibre of its hemp
curtain call. Like a veined muscle strains against the skin.
And so, black in thought from the final deed, whisper
reaches its sanctuary hole, shaped long in the ground.
And whisper's voice, watching the earth worms preparing
the way for the soft flesh to come, speaks one final time
'Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine'
And an earth-harried soul is finally released

Die Ferne ist zerbrechlich
wie ein verlassener Stern
in einem Universum ohne Seele.
Ich bin ruhig im Schnee,
in der Höhe der steilen Berge
aus Eisen und Kristall,
und mit einem offenen Herzen.
Das Geräusch der fallenden Tränen im Schnee
verliert sich in der Ferne.
Ein kräftiger und lauter Wind
geleitet meine Sehnsüchte.
Herzen aus Staub und Eis
malen ein blassen Bild
mit verlaufenden Farben.
Manchmal ist es die Erinnerung,
die uns Ruhe und unsere Wünsche bringt.
The distance is fragile
like an abandoned star
in an soulless universe.
I am calm in the snow,
in the heights of steep mountains
of iron and crystal,
and with an open heart.
The whisper of falling tears on snow
is lost in the distance.
A forceful and noisy wind
is leading my day-dreams.
Hearts of dust and ice
are painting a pale picture
in dispersed colours.
Sometimes it is only our memory,
bringing us peace and desire.

As Autumn's Beauty Rests In Dying Of Its Leaves
( Vae cuius obturatus est signatum manu sua. )
( Cuius spiritus in eis audita populi et ceterorum domantur socordiamque effusos)
( Cujus animam servare non curat.)
Years have waxed, waned and far flung since
Newborn dawn's glory, famishing desires
Sunset reds, night-dreams represent suspense
Hot-searing flames of old, romantic fires.
I dare not, such treasure, offerings grieve
As Autumn's beauty rests in dying leaves!
Life held mesmerizing, promising scenes
Mysteries youth thought impossible to solve
Such as why of colors in peacock's preen
Necessity of man's need to evolve.
I dare not, such treasure, offerings grieve
As Autumn's beauty rests in dying leaves!
In this gasping realm, with its dying race
We enter as loud wailing infant child
Earth without mortals would seem out of place
And Life dull, without our youth being wild.
I dare not, such treasure, offerings grieve
As Autumn's beauty rests in dying leaves!
Go we along paths oft Fate delivers
With its blessings, love-bursts dancing in
Amongst darkness, and soul racking shivers
Lie vagaries, pitfalls of mortal men.
I dare not, such treasure, offerings grieve
As Autumn's beauty rests in dying leaves!

Rhyme, ( Lest We Forget, Life Holds Many Treasures We Are Blind To )
New Revised Note:
Woe unto man whose eyes are sealed by that of his own hand
Whose spirit is tamed by apathy and indifference
And whose soul he takes no care to preserve.
Old note:
Date, 3-21-1977
As this world spins, its heartless cruelty astounds
Yet in my life, I can create no strong shield
To defeat its darkness and cast away its savagery that so truly confounds.
New Note: Explanation...
Date, 8-11-2019
This was written many decades ago.
As I've now done a major editing/rewrite-
it is basically a new poem, thus I give
this new poem as dated being created today.
Leaving the old note intact.. Best I can do
today to write is to edit old poems..
Sorry... and maybe even the old one was ok...

I bring this stone,
so smooth as ebony,
so you are not alone
and in my memory.
As it once was,
when we were family.
Your grave,
a nameless place
between some lonely birch-trees
and some fern,
without a gravestone,
without grace.
You never had a chance to turn.
My hands too stiff to wave good-bye,
my memories,
now cold as ice,
my eyes – your picture in the sky,
no chance for me to say good-bye.
No final stories
hence to tell,
I lay this stone for you
with a sad heart
and with a sigh.
----------------------------------------
Ich bring dir diesen Stein,
so glatt wie Ebenholz,
und du bist nicht allein
in meiner Erinnerung
So wie es einst mal war,
noch als Familie
Dein Grab,
nur namenlose Stätte
zwischen einsamen Birken
und etwas Farn,
und ohne Grabstein,
ohne Gnade.
without grace.
Danch kam nichts
und weiter nichts zu sagen,
ich lege diesen Stein für dich
mit Trauer im Herzen
und einem Seufzer.

Erster am Südpol
Geheimer Wettlauf mit Scott
Im ewigen Eis
Auf Rettungsflug für Nobile
Verschollen im Eismeer

First at the South Pole
In a secret race with Scott
In the eternal ice
On a rescue flight for Nobile
Missing over the Arctic Ocean

Primero en el Polo Sur
En carrera secreto con Scott
En los hielos eternos
En vuelo savamento a Nobile
Desaparecido sobre el océano Ártico
Note: Roald Amundsen (1872 – 1928), a Norwegian explorer of polar regions led the first
Antarctic expedition to reach the South Pole (1910-1912). He was the first person to reach
both poles. Me was reported missingin at plane crash during a rescue mission for Umberto
Nobile in 1928 northwest of Bear Island in teh Arctic Ocean. Umberto Nobile (1885 – 1978)
was an Italian airship pioneer and general. He was injured when he crashed and rescued by
a Swedish pilot. Mussolini degraded him and Nobile emigrated first to the Sovjet Union,
later to the USA and to Spain. In 1945 he was rehabilitated and returned to Italy.

Kristalle aus Eis und Salz
überziehen den See rot
im Abendlicht.
Am Horizont erstrahlen die Anden
im Mantel aus Purpur und Gold,
Eldorado der Ewigkeit.
Die Andengipfel hüten ihr Eis
wie wertvollen Schatz.
In der Hochebene am See
suchen Flamingos vereinzelt nach Nahrung
im Algensee.
Weitab in der Ferne
am Horizont
sprühen heiße Quellen Fontänen
in vor Kälte klirrende Abendluft.
Nur einige Vicuñas
treiben ihre Spiele
zwischen reifbedecktem, spärlichen Gras.
Die schleichende Nacht
bricht herein
mit frostiger Gewalt

Crystals from ice and salt
cover the lake red
in the evening light.
At the horizon shine forth the Andes
in a coat of magenta and gold,
Eldorado of eternity.
The Andes summits protect their ice
like valuable treasures.
At the plateau near the lake
flamingos look sporadically for food
in the alga lake.
Far away in the distance
at the horizon
spray hot springs fountains
into freezing cold evening air
Only some Vicuñas
play their games
between rime coated, sparse grass.
The night is creeping in
with frosty power

DIE THE DEATH!
(Dona eis requiem sempiternam)
Die the death and transcend vanity
O poor vernal flesh and bone,
Waned out of this primal valley
And sink like the moon beyond the coast.
All expectations, ‘tis the greatest
Reclined at the backdrop of the heart’s throb,
Relegated by mortal necessities in crest
Clouded by mist as the shrouding robe round a knob.
Farewell thee, to vanish from eyes.
Fear not, minds still shall keep thee
Though a while, less a bother to human plight,
The dire need for yen, companion and spree.
The undertakers trades fare supreme
And mourners sonorous rhymes are music prime;
Downing the lees of wine to spike faces grim
With throbbing drums, jigging feet and chime.
Great the awaited moment to close the eyes
And farewell the world with all her bother.
A descendance is paramount than to rise,
To die to live than live to die is best order.
Great ease is the last prize to pay
And refund the muck to its source beneath
Nothing else abide but merry mongers sway
Over nourished ordure, once a breath.
Why not sadness at the joyful tale of birth
And merriment at the woeful news of death?
Onward would be to the backyard of earth,
From incubi, toil and deformed breath.
Night veil drawn over our visibility,
In twinkle the pupil dilate a life span’s knell
Wedge in limbo, shrouded by mystery,
Knowledge only worms and flies can tell.
What need of life, fun, food or friendship?
All but a three episode script of dharma:
Ignorance precedes pain and then comes sorrow,
As circadian sculptor pruned our feature.
No mint can purchase back days gone by,
Neither riches to reverse a twinkle;
For a lifelong tie earn a profound sigh,
A spot on shoreline washed by sprinkles.
Poison, sickness, circadian effect and accident
Are final returns wherein all expectations lie.
Rather in life, in death is its fulfillment
And no further businesses have I but to die!

Talmend ritmies, soet sal klink; as hul die loflied bring.
Liedere, sange, stemme klink; hul ereplek is lankal vol –

S it starts with S no arguments the EI could be the IE but the E is alphabetically
the foremost letter and IE seems wrong to mee then there is another S. It seems
so out of place but sounds so there it seems to me the S makes seismic sense.
The M is just the middle of the word caught between the EIS and the ending. The
ending is the IC it seems to me to be less forcefull AC would do better call it
seismac rhymes with smack see eh? And makes a much better and harder
word. The possibilities multiply immediately the Seismac Ocean. The Isle of
Seismac. The Seismac waves washed over the smurfer today as he sat android
like at his computer terminal in the shaded area. Everyone has favorite places
and webpages on the internet there is many such places a man will visit and tell
everyone about them but there is a few that he will never divulge the info even on
his deathbed he keeps the sign in log on secret.
He will sit and watch the movie while his best and only friend flips the simulation
cards to make the mouses ears move up and down. This is vanity and chagrin.
The up to the minute news is had while his only friend sits looking at the crystal
glass ball in an effort to determine what transpired in la la land. The news in
Africa is GOLD in America its OLD in Switzerland it's COLD in The Netherland it's
BOLD. The same seismac article of war zone policy states that upper echelon
read faster they get better weather and more money cake and laughter. Mein
COMP. MIEN Comp. The hills are blue the beans are red becomes blue beans
the hills are red, the while away the time becomes the time is marching on the
sun will set in the western sky at daybreak in the eastern lie. The tsunami waves
of seismac grains reach all the living left alive for when the people die the spirit
feels it. Eye am seismac.

There where Vicuñas graze
Impinges fire on icy ground

deine Decke, Schicksal´s seidenes Tuch,
mein Blick glaubt immer noch and dich,
wohl in uns bestehen.
denn so wär´ mir alles wohl erklärt

Ballade
In eine alte Prinzessin
bin ich mich verliebt
Ich hab ihr überredet
dass sie nicht umzieht
Den Arm hab ich ihr abgeschnitten
zu zählen ihre Jahren
das Herz hab ich in Eis gelegt
um die Jugend zu bewahren
Regiert das Alter wie ein Fürst
Schlafen still in ihren Eier
Kinder die sie nie gebären wirst
Ich fresse sie ganz gleich dem Geier
Die Seele von dem Leib gesaugt
alles was mir einst schön schien
Das Lächeln und den Auge auch
In ihre Idee bin ich verliebt
Sie ließ mich ih ihr Schloss
und zeigte mir die Liebe
und sie dann beschloss
Das Dämmern zu verschieben
Dann waren wie uns einig
Die liebe wohnt im Heute
und ein froher Morgen
gehört verliebter Leute
Ich fing dann an zu sehen
was ich hatte in meinem Leben
Ihr Herz gab ich ihr zurück
und ihres hat sie mir gegeben

Strange About Climate Change
Something is strange about climate change
How it affects life while riding on the range
Under shallow or down deep in blue sea
So severely affecting both you and me.
Exhaust emission does flow everywhere
Of our world we should take better care
With a bright brain which is fully loaded
Gain control before things are eroded.
An impact statement (EIS) has been made
Before world disappears or fades into shade
Education and effort we will have to exert
Keep environment from all harm and hurt.

I'm just trying
To let go of my past
And live for tomorrow
Livin like I was dying
A part of me came alive
And a part of me died
I don't feel like I can speak from my heart anymore
I'm afraid to take another step
for fear of falling down
I gotta make that step
But how can I
When ther eis nothing to catch me?
I'm afraid of showing a weakness
That may turn others away.
Why can't I just
Run away from it all
Where would I go?
What would I do?
My heart is crying out
It's breaking apart
I gotta get out
I gotta get away.
