DREAMLESS ALPHABETS

Aphelion my long time residence
Banished into a dreamless existence
Cannibals surround the escape routes
Diligently feeding my doubts
Eagerly anticipating my demise
Ferociously preparing for my conclusion
Gathering hippocampus, for seasoning
Hors d’oeuvres, bloody temporal lobes
Impulsive, angry, throwing away all reasoning
Jaded, crawling towards the scavengers
Knees embedded with gravel
Lesions seeping into my rib cage
Maggots, waiting at the next stage
Nightmares finally come true
Ominous my exile has been
Paralyzing everything, except fright
Quickly, carnivores begin to dance in delight
Rehearsing for the end of my rancid reality
Screaming, submitting myself as a sacrifice
Talons swoop down, and transport me
Uric acid pouring down, singeing my curls
Valedictions will just delay my final eviction
Wearily, watching, awaiting my crucifixion
Xenon, pestilent odors rise from my body
Yelping orange, yellow flames, the last seen
Zooming out of this world, to be forever free

Seamless Dreams, Seemingly Dreamless

"where do dreams come from?"
he lifted his head, perplexed,
and replied: "nowhere."

A Dreamless Tree Dweller

Swaying. Dancing. Let me carry you.
Dance for me. Dance for me. Dance for me.
It's beautiful how you hold on so tight, but reach so far.

Up and Up and Up.
Begging sunshine and starlight and moon beams to fill your cupped palm.
We' can sip from it together but we both know you'll never be satisfied
Until your silver leaves can dance to the symphonies of singing constellations.

The diamonds sprinkling down your face would look like tears.
But you, and I? We both know this isn't real. Put away your fears
And dream for me. Dream for me. Dream for me

And please darling, Let us never wake.

Dreamless

I.
Tonight I am yours all to blame
See me through this morbid shame
Deep inside my misery, you come to complain
Bringing my hopes up then putting them down the drain.

Chorus (1)
Accept my mediocrity
I am dreamless, forever dreamless

II.
I dare run away from me
So far not even I can see
The doors are now shut for me, the uselessness I’ve grown to be
Why must I stay for all of thee, I plague this earth, plague this earth with me

Chorus (2)
Accept my mediocrity
I am shameless, forever shameless

III.
Despised, the forgotten son
What once was, now is gone
Fight the will, unwanted will, the will to carry on
Life goes on, the same old song, but my memory will soon be gone

Chorus (3)
I am shameless, forever shameless
I am dreamless, forever dreamless

Bridge
One last thing, I dare to show
One last thing you don’t need to know

Chorus (1)
Chorus (2)

Dreamless

When being awake
is hard and unbearable.

When in restless dreams
peace is fleeting.

What else is in there to live and hope for
if not only to be eager for your own demise?

The planks of wood may come and cover me
forwhy about this life I have nothing else to say.

A life without dreams resembles the night sky which the glow of stars is missing!

Your Dreamless Sleep

By the crest of the moon I watch you sleep.
You're dreaming your desire.
And I'll have memories to keep
got in just under the wire.

Your mouth weaves stories in half-light.
It speaks to me of hope.
Believing everything's alright
is how I learned to cope.

Destiny falls down around
into the waning black.
You speak to me without a sound
and grasp your freedom back.

Now dawn has brought it home to me,
your dreamless sleep of lies.
In wakening truth the blind will see.
Weak is the one first cries.

Dreamless

It was not so much the seed that grow in my dream
But the dream that grow from the seed
This seed so small, so fragile
This seed I nurtured watered and light with the glowing rays of the sun with in
I did it with out knowing, with out worrying
That when this seed sprouts, so shall I
I cared for this sprouting growing seed with out realizing that the branches and roots
Were planting beep into the soul of my brain
Creating a labyrinth of my sole
Each passing day it grow more stronger, more taller
Till its branches reach out my ears and up my nose
This once small seed was now my dream
So vibrant and strong
This dream tree sprouts unchanging leaves of personal gain
And I walk as tall as my tree, for I am just as strong
Yet I must have taken a wrong turn away from my sole light, ventured too far into the stormy night
I found my tree losing its strength as my ears and mind lessening to mean words of dreamless demands
My dream tree lost its laves one by one they fell drown, brown and dead
I tired to grab them, but they fell though my fingers, just dust on the wind
As time went on the dreamless demands raped there choking vines around my tree and feasted on my dyeing dreams
And know I stand not so tall
Just a shell empty and hallow
A dreamless being trying to find another seed

Bubblegum Sandwich

Had that strangest time feeling
caught myself between my eyes
awake in a dream
floating certainties of sensing
this reality
another finality
something somewhere
with beneficent intention

Couldn't sleep
felt myself within
a subterranean hearth
burning irregular
drifting in flames
a voices continuance
from out of the deep
repeating an endless of unknown names

Fantastical or grotesque this curious
unsure thing this state of design
these things of who we are
shadows of a million mortals
the sacred geometry in
what are we made of
standing together in a dawn
the resolution
all our wellsprings of emotion

Restless under my sheets of sleepless
too many icons to circle around
my cheating consciousness
too much thinking within their sound
a wounded Minotaur
pacing through a labyrinth
seeks its surface
within creation

I rattled against the iron
fretful at the truth beyond
let me out of this prison
this fear
for centuries
has surrounded them
it's bubblegum sandwich
their only meal to chew on

Tired at sunrise
same impromptu day
the purse of unhinged beneath my eyes
peering between clenched jaw
my confusion
insomnia
too quiet to do me any good
but place this commotion
upon a shelf
there may gather its heedless dust
there in its realm of unbidden disturbance
but leave me
forever marked
and on its goading point
remain
dreamless

Premium Member Drifted Sand

The wind, careless in its airy freedom,
Feverishly furrows the prairie grass.
With a cry like a lost spirit, it winds
And wails through leafless trees and toothless fence
To vent its eager force upon the boards
Of a lonely, weather-beaten farmhouse.

Afternoon sun shines ashen and mottled,
In slim slanting shafts, through a smoky pane,
Opaquely painting a penumbral room.
Dust motes dance before an empty stone hearth.
A man, like a silent sentinel, sits
Dreamless, and loveless, between the bare walls.

Wearily wringing his wrinkled thin hands,
He sloughs his solitary years away,
Staring sleeplike out an open screen door
Where stands a windmill, in still-life, framed.
Tumbleweeds pile against the west house wall;
And a plough lies broken in drifted sand.

Dreamless

Such a dreamless sleeper was Dan Doff
Snoring each night, he slept like a log
Suddenly, it occurred to him
Just once, he needed to dream
But poor Dan knew not what to dream of.

Dreamless Journey

Journeying within the darkness is profound
which longs to mesmerize my mind to seek
all that is not encountered when reality
holds my mundane thoughts captive

Sounds and sights diverge culminating
into a kaleidoscope of sensorial impulses that emit
only transient means to express that sensory
which I cannot focus when awoken.

Interactions are irretraceable following this session
of contemplation within this nonexistent dream
which is diversely separate from a subconscious
encounter with inspirational concepts in which
one attempts to retrace upon awakening

Dreaming up bloody battles night after night.
Sleep on a bed of thorns turned over light.
This is how we return to the rude guests.
The worst possible scenario was the best.

The heart and mind joined together.
Lady with a passion for stormy weather.
Yes, even with my eyes squeezing shut.
At night, beauty is seen at the door of your hut.

Think of your existence as a nightmare.
And you'll never wake up, don't you care?
The moon tracked me as I tried to breathe.
Death in the sun, the towns seethe.

Sun drips on my head to provide peace.
The first breaths of the vivid truth ceased.

Dreamless

Dreamless at night
flightless by day
curious still of the dawn
mystery of oval light
shining across america still
and emotions of granduer fill
the cure all of the people is a pill
oval and bright a contained sun
bringing joy one dose at a time
making memories one day at a time
to hear the clock chime
to bring a day to stop on the dime
to make love like a mime
no sound just reaction
slow and thoughtful till i cum
one dose at a time
