Best Dissipate Poems
Hearing the waters
Translucent lavender flow
Imagination
Enriched blind, senses kick in
Silence abounds, clothes in fall
Naked to bare dip
Porcelain to porcelain
Glass of champagne chinks
Lapping ripples in caress
Submerged delights allure me
Patiently I wait
Her cue, for me to approach
Encroach, I go through
Eyes, eye, tanned undulations
When said bubbles dissipate
DISSIPATE
when you flicker
on and off
I cannot touch you…
your essence
when I put my
fingers into the
flames of your heart
will they burn
or dissipate
like opiates
and nauseous
capsules of hate..
that inflate my
dying ego

our sins dissipate
when we accept His dying
on the cross for them
Staring into java, contemplating life’s journey in the murky swirl of cream
Blowing ripples, as steam breathes life into foggy recesses
Clearing cobwebs, allowing thoughts to clarify as day begins.
Taking a sip, a sigh escapes as I lean back into masses of pillows
Eyes closed, I listen to the ticking from my antique clock in the hall
A bong alerts me; my time is at a premium.
Sunlight peaks beneath the blinds and sneaks into my room
Chasing shadows and dreams back into the closet to await the night
As I finish the last of my elixir, stretching, uncovering from my cocoon.
Padding to the mirror, I stare back at the stranger I have become
My dreams of being an artist, splattered like slashes across a canvas
Replaced by a lab coat, calculations, stats and calibrations.
Faith will never fade,
and i am ever so glad
for its Saving Grace....
the afternoon sun
brightly shining up above ~
the earth rejoices
