Sweet Mistakes

SWEET MISTAKES

i sit here and think

of all i've done wrong

the whispering remnents

of a long ago song

while tragic decissions have created the past

the character built lays new path

without mistakes, goals can't be reached

if the the world was perfect

there'd be nothing to teach.

we'd never explore our souls and our minds,

never know strengths that are built over time.

the wonder and awe that we see all around, without essence and knowledge

would shrival and drown

love and contentment could never be felt

by a heart, that has never, disapointment been dealt.

mistakes may seem bad,

like the end of the world

but without them our souls

would never grow and unfurl.

Come As You Are

At one point in my life i was an artist
I used to paint and draw
Covering a piece of paper
In beautiful colors
And my art told a story
The sort of story you couldn't talk about
I used to go to school every day
Showing up late
Wasn't something I'd do
But i dropped out
Leaving my education behind
I played the bass guitar
In a band called
The Nocturnal
My fingers ran against that bass
Pure magic
The sound of the gods
Setting out to destroy the world
Pure Punk straight from Seattle
At one point i was clean
Sober and pure like a new born baby
Falling further into
What you now call
"disapointment"
Screwing up my veins
with every shot of herion
Killing my brain cells
With every joint i smoked
Clogging up my nose
With every pill you could have known
I used to write lyrics
About my life
My childhood
I used to write journals
The ones you read in the book
that was published of me
I got up on that stage every night
As i was
Nothing fake
Nothing glamourous
Only a few scars
One shot of heroin
Come as you are
The words only speak for
Themselves

In the Midst

In the midst of my sorrow, there's still hope for tomorrow,
In the midst of my pain, there's still healing to gain,
In the midst of my plan, God's designing a better one,
In the midst of my disapointment, there's hope for new appointment
In the midst of my mistake, there's still more to appreciate
In the midst of my embarrassment, God kept me through that moment
In the midst of my divorce, God's designing a new course
In the midst of my trial, I know, it's only for a while
In the midst of my accident, my recovery is soon evident,
In the midst of my existence, there's always hope for fulfillment
You remind me in your words, Thank you Lord!

Grin and Bear It

Shyly Loudly
          Smiling Laughing
                     in the face of
                     Disapointment

  Go Go
    Little stuffed
    Friend, open
     Your arms
        I'll cry
You'll hug the bad and
         It will all
         Go Away!

Premium Member Breakfast At Caeser's

BREAKFAST AT CAESER'S
The brains of all the universe
hide in the waste and cold of dark
where thought can never make them worse
and where they'll never leave their mark
and never more take charge of man
more than one time since time began.

What follie's layed into your mind
where kith is lost and dire in need
as unborned failed to even find
the spark of life on which to feed?
Is being dumb come to be sin
and so is cut the line that's thin?

Dine on brahkwurst if you need fat
but Caeser feels the constant need
to have His pasta long and flat
and sprinkled with pure mustard seed.
And in your colon it may spread
and freshen all that's in your head.

Ah! Those are but the birds and bees!
As welcomed as the day grows near,
refreshing as an April breeze
if it's the northern hemisphere,
All time stands still until the tune
Jesus is here, or coming soon.

There's many slip twixt now and then
and Caesers head is stamped on gold,
he's gone to Palistine again
to get away from damp and mold;
and waste is waste upon the floor
though left by one we'd all adore.

If thought's upon your suicide
in hope's the afterlife's more fun
your disapointment can not hide
no matter where your soul might run.
       Caligula has his breakfast here
two poached in hot Italian beer.

My Past/My Future

Laying here in bed,

thinking about what lies ahead.

My past was nothing but mistakes, regret, and disapointment.

I can only wish that my future holds nothing but excitement.

I sencerily hope that my future is better then my past.

Please, let the laughs, smiles, and good times come at last.

Everyday I'm trying to forget what should already be left behind.

But for some reason, it's constandly weighing on my mind.

I can't help but think that my past will catch up with my future,

but maybe people will see that all this has done is made me mature.

An Array of Disapointment

my heart fell as my eyes slowly adjusted...
to his small frame
had he always been so ugly
so short, so ungroomed?

Disposable Heroes

left out as kids at school
live as outcasts the goldern ruel
disappeared from the radar
into the shadows of hell
how i hated the sound of that bell

human punchbags thats all we are
born to silence and disapointment
as disposable heroes we do stay
beconed and taunted by kids at play

My Conflick

Its strange the quivering feeling that you get when evil vilians enter your sprit
Its quiet unexplanable and unmanagble and unpredictable
How things work out and sprout and shout bout Things that dont make much sense
Hense the thought
That I bought one''s love
With the coins from my heart
But atlast it passed
With much chillyness
I am a witness to the disapointment my heart feels
As it beats
But bears a whole I once drilled
A whole that I must re-open to show them
That im pure
And that i''m not perfect
But i''m the angle you have never seen before
And the love you have rendered me lost
With out a single map to find my way to you
Has left me with no clue
But left me in a mentle and emotional battle feild
But due to the fact my physical congress has not sentance these to major country''s of my
being to was its a conflicked
You are my conflicked....but I injoy every minute of it!!!!

But the boys were in for a big surprise
Bob copped a quick feel
Found they were not real
What a disappointment for all the guys...

Word On Treatise

i thank all for the warm welcome i have recieved here at poetry soup.
orphaniis of course an alter ego, through which i express my views .
writing poetry exposes us and makes us vulnerable to the pain of rejection ,and
disapointment
i cannot be rejected becouse i am always excepted by my God whom i searve.
i cannot be dissapointed because my expectation is to subject my work to your scrutiny for
the purpose of becoming a better poet-( i am secure an my assesments.)
I dident come to strut out a piece of work so you can explain to me how wonderful i am.i
don't need or want that crap. What i want is heart felt critsism and open disscusionon on the
honest merits of the work.i promise to give the same.i will not critique haiku on religious
grounds.nor any work that is morally objectionable.
orphani like all true poets, does not fit in well-- he is an obscurity, and oddity ill at ease in
this world, and he sees, as all poets ,through the eye of a stranger ,a wanderer far from his
true home and from the things he loves most--he questions and observes life he touches he
tastehe smells, and feels all and is in all keanly. i am any persons equal and i will engage
them as such.
i love poetry, and you my poetry friends ,and hope to have a lot of fun ,and maby learn
enoughto be a better poet in the end
Forgive this long winded intro. but i think it helps to rake the leaves before you plant the
flowers.
love you all

Silent Steps

Fermented intergration of empethatic passion, silent steps, slow concield steps washing the past, slow silent steps allow me to grasp the concept of your anatomy lastly, jumping into pools of civil desputes, documented proof, that other life exists in silent steps, let satisfaction breath death into disapointment!, world religions anniot points pathetic to judge other people's status to be..., silent steps help please, even if it costs you your life, so that i may see my wife again, children cry every night outside city limits, ghosts howling fear through steps soft...walk into the ears of dirt and gravel aloft to see generation V, dragged moments across their own conscience finding nothing but a clear silent step, rejected, not respected, tested, bullied and baffled amongst personal clarity, the boys say hey girl to be popluar lets take silent steps around sexual raity, loss yourself hurting internally, forget vulgarity, if i may bethqueth opoun your soul again those silent steps before hurting irregularity, poetic smooth concelied reffernce kentic deternce, proportional geometric clouds letting down silent drops of blocked future, humanity wants the rings on their fingers called the silent alabaster effect, i want to take silent steps onto the rings of jupiter's unrest.

"bring Me"

Bring me happiness
       Not hatred

Bring me joy
       Not misery

Bring me a love that is true
       Not love that is unjust

Bring me sincerity
       Not betrayal

Bring me support
Not the turning off your back

Bring me memories
       Not shattered dreams

Bring me the warmth of your smile
       Not a frown

Bring me pleasure
       Not abuse

Bring me my wish
       Not disapointment

Bring me you
       Not for a minute

Bring me my world
       Not a vision

Bring me all these things that are my wish of happiness

Why Did I Not Go Over

-
I looked across the night club and saw a beauty in a little black number
A most perfectly set scar of 2 inches on her left temple
Almost required to add to her gorgousness and black hair
Pearls swaying and playing with them as she talks and smiles and smiles
Looks directly and looks away quickly- Not interested

Disapointment to me but I can't stop looking.
20 years younger but I still can't stop looking
Milk white skin rouged to perfection I grab another look
It's all in my mind those 20 years regret but I don't going over
But my disapointment is really not with her but with one so long ago

Possibilities

Looking upon the past,
Falling deeper and deeper,
Into a dark abyss.
Trying to forget,
All the disapointment
That has once occured..
As it all shrinks me down,
I fall faster,
Deeper, Harder,
All to fast.
But everything happens for a reason...
For I'd like to think.
