DIMINISHING HEX-ON-VERSE

A hex on this verse
how could it be worse
tongue in cheek or terse
potion to reverse
a poetic curse

quivered arrows
wingless sparrows
Sphinx and Pharaohs
distant gallows

funnels bend
wordless blend
poems end

contend
pretend

Reading
Writing
Arrhythmic

Are taught at school
Through methods cruel
Disciplinary tool

But choose ye a new school

Dim the light's
Call and end to time
Of nursery rhymes
Reading times

If you can tear your attention
Away from the television screen

Ages 5 till 16
What you have just seen

Is in no way real
Does that any way diminish
Its appeal???????????????

“Yesterday” We could write each other a
“Worldly script” From the heart,
“Today” We have our fears
When pondering “Where to tomorrow”
Our “Two worlds colliding” As the
“Thread” Of our lives bares its soul
In “Thoughts of you”. We ask each other
Is this “The way it use to be?”
When trying to dwell in “Memories”
Oh so insecure. “Love is” We still believe
Never will it be just “A long distant dream.”
So we live on in “Hope”
Cling to a time “From there to here”
Revel with the “Ghost of an achievement”
Till it is time for us to be “At the final goodbye”.

Diminishing Echoes

The lights are dimmed
On our normalcy
Time is up and
We have to leave
Don't look that way
We both agreed
Trust me
It wont kill you to breathe

No hours left
To conclude our answers
We can't go back
We spent the chances
We MUST lose the meaning
In our glances
Diminishing echoes
Of silent dances.

The Diminishing Doom

The faction based on realistic fact is fortuitous.
Precluding from the problems of reality is to focus on oranges you are carrying and not the snakes crawling beneath you.
To be overcomed by a disorder does not mean you are not liable of kicking the flaming ball.
The revaning clouds shall not long stay.
The mysterious happen when hard work prevaile.
To be awarded with the platinum, then you have to stand firm in hard times and focus on your goal no matter what happens.
The winner always smile because he has been able to overcome sad and difficult moments.
You can curtail the darkness when you love to overcome your weakness.
The doom becomes ugly and darker when laziness and fear have made room in you.
Bumbling around the bushy bush.
Do not be bullish because such act is a burmer.
Try to be a spartan of your life.
Yes a top notch spartan.
A spartan to the end of time.
Cling on to your aspirations to reach the climactic victory.

shared a kiss goodbye
took in the scent of the rose
my eyes see nothing
heard crows call from distant trees
that is until the lid closed.

The First Sign of Diminishing Love Is.....

The First Sign of Diminishing Love is......

While all there is
Is a kiss
The explosion reeks its havoc in your head
While all there is
Is this havoc-ed love you have
This ripping sheet of unvented desire
Blows like a tattered flag
In your chest

And I have walked on the burning coals of love
And sucked on the flames of passion
I have done this only to protect
The innocence you were defending
Just waiting for the day to come
When you finally decide
To give it up

So now you are sitting on the fuse
Of the bomb you made
Hoping someone will hand you a match
Set the fire you needed
Sparking the powdered lust
To ashes made from the valley green
You once had
But now have lost

There is only one explanation
Only one moment
In the scramble of emotion
But you cannot stop to see
Not in the state you’re in
You will not even stop to listen
To all the same things once again
Yet while all there is
Is a kiss
The storm rages on in your head

And now your body can no longer stand
The feelings it keeps within shaking hands
The echo’s of your trembling mind
And the continuing scream in your chest
Speaks the spectrum words stuck in your throat
While choking on all the words you spoke
On the subject of love

While all there is
Is this madness
While all there is
Is this empty expression
Of my love
You will always be on this other side
Of me
It’s the saddest thing I’ve ever known
To know I no longer contain
The hunger
Take it
It’s yours to have
You’ve swallowed every ounce of strength
I once possessed

So I lost myself in wanting
So what
And in trying to be giving
I have dug for the last drops
Of understanding

But when you find yourself alone
And alone with all the dreariness
Feeling the need to be taken by the hand
And pointed at the sun
And “no”
Your love does not contain
All this rushing insanity
And all the effort of your memory
All the reasons and emotions have haphazard themselves
And in the midst of it all you feel
You will think it’s a better deal
To let it go

Let go the dreams
Let go the skins
The engine of your head running
The needle in your skull pushing
And driving you to its point

Its just not you anymore

And the first sign of diminishing love

Is

Diminishing sex

Jaded Love: Web With Diminishing Returns

In royal trappings to enthrone
A cerebral web with guile did hone
With glistening silk strands spun
Blithe veil of satin strings did run
Silted threads bleeding heart did stun
Your mercurial shadow skirted the sun
Into your sticky clutches, entranced suitor flew
With malice aforethought your hearth did stew
Your calculating mind did a duplicitous course hew
Strands of lies with frothy coating did imbue
A titillating, sensual dance did my writhing senses queue
Into your cauldron of charming potions my inhibitions flew
Steadfastly clinging to the passions feigned warmth did construe
In due course, your chilling ambitions with quantum leaps grew
My jaundiced shadow your malevolent mind did rue
My penitent feet now trapped in your ethereal milieu
Struggled to elude the strings bonded with a gripping glue
With panting sighs, tried to escape your clutches; bid you adieu
But with a menacing tenacity my broken heart did pursue
Until you depleted all my reserves leaving me hopelessly blue
Then drained my esteem, and shackled each parting shoe
Leaving my lifeless silhouette in the deceitful twines you did brew

Premium Member Diminishing Comps

They try many things to get you down
to this gambling Mecca of a seashore town.
In many directions, the management of these places will go.
It has all been carefully designed to get your dough.
Free meals, free drinks, free rooms, and more.
However, they are not as generous as they were before.
Those houses are now in a precarious situation.
Other gaming places are popping up across the nation.
You would think they’d be upping the ante with their offers.
However, they don’t easily open up their coffers.
Business will not be so glorious
if they continue becoming more parsimonious.

Premium Member The Crowd

Squeeze into the crowd
For snatching the right bargain
Early bird catches the worm
Squeeze into the crowd
For Chinese kung fu acting
Selling magic medicated oil
One day the crowd becomes diminishing
With SOP
Another day it starts to grow again
When people become careless
With the opening of the borders
It will grow further and further
The scenery, the food, the shopping delight
All will draw them closer and closer
The crowd becomes bigger and bigger
Surely not only a sign of prosperity
But also a sign of danger
As crowding means no distancing
Not encouraged in SOP
Sometimes we have to interpret a situation with wisdom
Life is totally different today
A lot of things carry double meanings
And so goes the prayer
Dear friends
Please don't ever let me down

Diminishing

abating hope
diminishing
like warmth
of this sun
hidden
in the somberness
of december skies
and downcast eyes

i watch this snow
descending around me
flakes falling like lives
one after another

the chill of wind
wrapping me
in the same
frigid grasp
as death

i feel
as lost
as footsteps
fading
in the depths
of white
sweeping
across the ground

as my tears
fall in disbelief
shattering
on the ground
below...

Diminishing Will

DIMINISHING WILL

After a long gap, thought to do some pennings
Days passed,week weekened,month modified
Oh my God, year too ran out without notifying me,
This is how the time timed me out, not caring me !

Why should I blame it on time, who is always perfect !
But blaming on others is human nature and me also the one
Yes to say the truth my senses killed me slowly and killing
But the speed has reduced at now embarking on age .

Let me plan little and little like small ants and
Let me conquire my own self and let me limp up and up
As was a little turtle cub succeeded a flaunt bunny
Hope, self will also winning cub as days are passing !

Diminishing Light

Rays of misty light, rainbows of colour
streaked across the spaces between tear filled eyes
and their source. I hear their voices,
but find no coarse, know no direction,
for they offer no choices.
There will be no resurrection ?

Not to find, not to know affection ?
Only to know anger / hurt, in the inflection,
as You move towards another direction.

Premium Member hope is diminishing rapidly

Cheri’s purse has been found near a retention pond
it has her ID, credit cards, and her medical card
They drain the pond and find her car keys and one boot
Cheri has been missing for six days
It is a cold November, she did not go far without a boot
hope that they will find her alive is diminishing rapidly
her mother begs to keep her boot, but it is evidence
Confiscated by the police

The Diminishing Light

As the oil dwindles, the flame slowly recedes,
Its once radiant gleam now a fading bead.
Stealthily, darkness creeps in like a thief,
Snuffing out life with a touch of grief.

With an icy grasp, akin to a ruthless foe,
Darkness seeks to extinguish and bestow,
Even the glowing embers of our hearth,
Quenching them with troubled waters' mirth.

Let us keep the shadows at bay and apart,
Preserving the remnants of our radiant heart.
Hold up lit candles till true dawn arrives,
When this tyranny ends, hope survives.
