Elemental Designs

ELEMENTAL DESIGN

Hydrogen to Helium
A fusion formed by gravity
A carbon-based delirium
Molecularly infinite energy

An ancient discipline known as alchemy
We’re consciousness - the explosion - amorous
We dream of gold from lead and mercury
Fueled reaction in copper with phosphorus
A universal age of prosperity

Bismuth bath. Deficient of iron and zinc
Astronautic laugh – last shine of hope
Nuclear decay –enlightened way – elemental - instinct
Scientific – logical clay – gaseous isotope.

The fluoride, we drink?
Humanity on the pivotal brink

The edge, a precipice.

Lanthanides and actinides
Metals and mysteries.
Shrink down to atomic scale
Our intellect – an accelerated history
Reality?
A holographic projection
Radioactive expansion
A gravitational trajectory

Inertia

Precious pavonine pearl
Our planet, our world.
A place all our elements may inhabit
Terrestrially unique. Diverse and intelligent
The push of inertia
The pull of gravity
The spin of an atom
The spin of our galaxy.

The end.

Destines Dire Designs

I wish I never fell into your abyss
Wish I never dared to meet those enticing lips
Wish I never felt your heroin kiss
That had me floating, cloud nine:
The ultimate bliss

I wish I never laid in your bed
Settled into the crevices of arm and chest
I wish I never gave in, to the chemical mess
When it left decades of pain, just to suppress

Our passion; a ball of fire, crashing into a wall frozen
Shards of ice, shot into fragments,
through the air as a token
Of what two powerful people can create,
when energies start exploding
There our lips fused,
while icicles came crashing around the broken

Two people, dark histories.
Instant connection and pull, automatic bondable
I was forced to be with you,
through destinies designs and obstacles
I just tripped over you,
we fell into each other, it wasn't optional
The invisible rope dragging us as one, was unstoppable

To this day 17 years on,
I still feel the zap of the current to entwine
I understand now because,
even though parts of us were sublime
It was chaos in your home,
with our auras, trying to unite
We just bought the house down,
back when you were mine

But no other connection,
fired and froze my soul, this way
Acceptable or dreadful, wrong or right,
I can't forget your face
I wish I could neglect you.
I wish you peace, but faraway
It's hell knowing we have this,
still, till this day...

I wish God could stop me missing you,
with every step I claim
I hate having to care for you, cringe,
at the sound of your name
I don't wanna vent to my friends,
because we can't communicate
Bore them with my agony and anger.
I need this to dissipate

I wish, we didn't miss each other
from over a decade,
of a thousand yesterdays

Premium Member Pine Needle Designs

Pine needles were left in designs of waves on the sand
Where the wind like a paint brush, left them on the ground
I walk by this painting, created perfectly by nature
A wisp of soft waves displayed, almost alluring
As I stare, my mind drifts with the waves and I see
Things that touch my heart like the tip of a pine needle
Softly touching me, painting a delicate message
                    --- Everything is Okay ---

January Designs

            resolution time
last year, waist did not decline
         this year less I’ll dine

            resolution time
last year, love I did not find
      this year she'll be mine

Designs On a Body

Designs on a Body

As one weaves wonderful patterns and design
All of my body of work could be quite mine
Eventually, all will be gallantly copyrighted
With much more complexity, I'd be surely delighted.

I'll write for all to find no endless hurt and pain
Your renderings of the world would surely see,
For you may be snoring on your couch as your lane
Those fine, imprints you've left plenty there on me.

My story starts from the top to bottom's been told
Man, you're a kind man as was your father the wizard
He laid many illustrious vibrant bright forever bold
For nay, he never walked near a wild, unlike lizard.

Have you not seen that beauty is so skin deep
The eyes may reflect off a shiny mirror of your soul
While quite profound your words may pen per sleep
For I know that you had hid the irony of the mole.

Okay my dear man, I'm standing here quite proud
You may, or may not be my all domineering muse
For your body sometimes screams quite loud
I can honestly say that I truly love my new tattoos.

Strolling thro' the zoo today, gazing at the various creatures,
I marveled at their shapes, colors and other distinctive features.
Some were graceful and sweet, others were cute and cuddly;
Others were grumpy and clumsy - some were downright ugly!

The ungainly giraffe, for instance, altho' much maligned,
Is one of the most graceful beasts that God designed.
But I saw no glamour in Godzilla the nine-hundred pound gorilla,
Scowling and holding the hand of his homely mate, Drusilla!

What splendid lions, tigers and other cats pacing to and fro!
And is there a more elegant animal than a fleet-footed doe?
The camels, elephants, kangaroos and yaks look mighty weird.
The buffalo isn't all that handsome with its shaggy beard!

Tho' 'tis risky with sneaky snakes, 'gators and crocs to coexist,
Even they are beautiful, according to the adoring herpetologist!
I suppose only its mother could love the lumbering rhinoceros.
For what purpose did God create the sinister hippopotamus?

Some seem to have been desisgned by an ad hoc senatorial committee,
And, alas, the results did not turn out to be all that pretty!
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder to savor and enthrall;
For each to treasure all of God's creatures, be they great or small!

Signs of Shoe Soul Designs In the Soft Sand

Fashion shoe treads imprinted on the bisque beach
global longtitude/latitude design airborne print in flight
Honeycomb print slowly pacing synchronising footsteps
Concentric wave prints grouping Fine detail pattern soul
beside clearly printed diamond fishbone sports design
Heavily studded trail souls tread along large paw prints
Simply dotted aerobic shoeprint next to little dog paws
A new soft pink fluffy seaweed floats in lacy ocean foam
Large horseshoe prints clomp digging deeply in the sand
Smaller horseshoes gather meeting near a water trough
Fresh green seagrass clumped like freshly cut long lawn
cradles long ball strands of yellow ochre squirting beads
Bare feet touching soft sticky sand immersed wet in water
Naked footprints side by side breathing beach vibrations
Two lovehearts drawn in the light brown sand interlocked.
Sandcastles decorated with shells sit sturdily on the shore.

Premium Member ODD SOCKS WITH VARIED DESIGNS

Fascinated with socks, my special child is enthralled with varied designs
thus, here am I, pampering his quest along different colors and lines:

On Mondays are red socks with strawberries and blue berries
while Tuesdays are socks of cars midst transportation stories...

Wednesdays propel me to prepare socks of black with white dots
as Thursdays are for those blue ones embossed with gray spots...

Fridays make me search for yellow or orange, very bright
then on Saturdays can be for brown with green check marks; that's right.

Sundays are for socks given as Christmas presents with mirth
along message, CHRIST the Saviour* grants love gift of eternal worth.

These are precious times of sorting socks in a manner that's vibrant
as jubilant son and Mom thank God for His grace so abundant.

Though this may seem exaggerated along poetic jest
indeed, sock sorting with my child needs patient zest.

*Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Premium Member Donald's Dynasty Designs

I hear Donald Trump
would love to bring to Republican plutocracy
what Abraham Lincoln represented for civilly warring democracy,
but that anti-enslavement resolution
is too hard for me to focus and sustain
in Trump is DivineTrump Land.

What remains most easily
is Donald Trump
as a Ronald Reagan rerun,
a bit of black and mostly relentlessly white,
although not really quite.

Perhaps if Ronald
had been born as comfortably
as Donald,
then he too would never have worked with his body,
and not so much played with his hands,
to make an honest Abe-ish living.

Unlike Donald,
Ronald actually had experience
working for his mortgage.
Well, almost anyway.
Ronald at least had to act as if he could work to make a living,
and on occasion actually remember his lines on cue,
or even deliver four syllables all in one big mean word,
while Donald invests more in one syllable gestures
at least with half our resident population.

And, Abe had some adolescent and young adult experience
with manual labor
and at least cooperatively owned his own attorney at lawyering business,
while for Ronald,
much less Donald,
these were acting skills
as comforting as heroic horse back riding.

So, no, Donald,
you're no Abe Lincoln,
and only in your happiest imagination
would you be as good at play acting President
as was Ronald.
You're just another plutocratic Donald,
not even economically effective at playing Republican.

I wonder if Attila the Hun
was the logical progenitive cause of Republicans,
as Donald Trumps their final post climate-health conclusion;
most illogically anachronistic
to use white over black not quite film stars with patriarchal stripes
when so much polypathic full-color talent
waits in more multiculturally fresh-aired wings.

Addictive Designs

Renowned for what he’d long ago begun,
John tried to take a step back from his life
and figure out just what it was he’d done
to be “The Orchid Man,” with orchids rife.

It must have been at his first orchid show
he’d never bought himself one before that
but how it grew to this he didn’t know,
as he looked about his orchid habitat.
That seemingly innocent epiphyte
was now an addiction he couldn’t fight.

His newest hybrid bloomed this month from seed!
He brought the first blooms in at night to gawk
and kept one fragrance-close from this new breed.
He spoke to them and knew that they could talk,
revealing if they liked the light where grown
or if they got the right movement of air.
Even how wet their roots were could be known,
without touching the pot whatsoever.

Yet they were also speaking with their scent --
barely an aroma, almost a hint,
but some olfactory accomplishment --
that first seemed cilantro-like, then like mint.
Then, as if they were changing the topics,
they breathed a fruity spice of the tropics.

He’d spent the whole day tending to their needs --
grooming, fertilizing and watering,
repotting and cultivating more seeds
… guessed he’d do this till he was dotering.

The orchid bug seems a permanent catch:
No twelve-step program gives it a mention.
There’s no pharmaceutical orchid patch.
Betty Ford’s doesn’t give it attention.

John wasn’t sure it should merit concern,
but he’d been “bitten” (a bit more than most),
and was not the best person to discern
the extent to which he’d become engrossed.

(So they’d have better water than he drank,
he’d just arranged for a filter system,
requiring pump and separate storage tank –
reverse osmosis so he could mist ‘em.)

“Could their pheromones be affecting me?”
he pondered as he sniffed his floral fix.
“Could I be maneuvered, just like the bee,
through vivid, hypnotic geometrics?”

Just for a moment, he thought it was odd
that he’d been such an easy pushover --
not tricked by Triphid or replaced by pod,
yet his whole life had been taken over.
Since none were carnivorous, he’d assumed
that he was safe, but he was all consumed.

Elaborate Designs

Beyond the curtain, lies a prayer,
That you might come upon another way.
To find the heart with which to dare,
To stow your restlessness away.

For all the truth that you may speak,
For all your willingness to take the blame.
It doesn't help admitting you are weak,
When you are weak enough to stay the same.

Someday the storm around you will subside,
And all your shadows will be lit anew.
But you can't fill the nothingness inside,
With loving that you never knew.

So, pull the curtain, and reveal the lie,
Your actions silent, as your words take steer.
You were never meant to find out why,
Yet you still question why you're here.

The morning fails to show the signs,
That night will not be spent in vain.
You' re sick of these elaborate designs,
But they are the only that remain.

Indian Women Welcome God With Rangoli Designs

She cleans the floor outside entrance door,
takes some rice powder in hand
deftly moving her hands
creates patterns on ground.

Circles,squares many geometrical designs
without any instruments...
Sometimes even a scenery!
Intricate designs easily created,
her skills are praiseworthy.
At times she puts dots on the ground
joins them with hands for perfection

On festivals she fills her designs with powders of different colours
Or with flowers
that takes lot of time
but she has tons of patience...

It is a pleasure to watch her work!

Check out this link to watch her at work:-

Big elaborate Rangoli can be seen on occasions like weddings, festivals and temples. Divine love for God pours forth as a woman draws them.

Colored Designs

Everytime you discover
a new black hole;
someone crosses the border
and starts crying.

Thread weaved in and out
of tapestry. You were nailed
to the wall, which never
had any doors.

Why were you not a mackintosh ?
You scripted strangely, talking
of an open world. You smell
a war between the poems-

in a book. There was no ad hoc
pain in groins. Your boney
nose went to find the peat moss
in the jungle of sandalwoods.

            Graceful
        classy stanzas,
 a theme with good posture.
She’s a fresh Capricorn poet.
              Walking
with a metaphor on her head,
   stubborn refrains echo.
        Building ageless
