Best Deb Poems
You woke at the stroke of midnight
Brain buzzing, "You simply MUST write!
You are filled with desire
Your muse is on fire
Creativity, you should never fight!
Each poem’s been penned by yourself
Not stolen off a high bookshelf
And you know PS rules
(Ignore all the blog fools)
And always be true to thyself
You’ve written ten poems ~ hooray!
In journals your work should not stay
So post ten poems on soup
It may inspire our group
Keep posting and do it YOUR way!"

Idiosyncrasies, what are they?
I know I am eccentric,
I get more so every day,
My strange ways and weirdness,
Are always-on display,
I cannot hide it,
I often lose the plot.
I can't count my idiosyncrasies,
Because I have the lot.
thank you for your clever Poem, Deb
I think I read the lot.
Was it you that penned it, Deb,
Oh dear, I forgot.

In the midst of the dewdrops that sparkle the morning
the bluebird of happiness sang without warning.
Basking in the sun of a new day's light
then spreading it's wings for a first day flight.
The sun grew so large in the painted sky
while creatures stirred in the forest nearby.
Frolicking in the shadows the animals play
in search of new adventures that may come their way.
They stop and they sniff as humans come near
to their woodland home but they feel no fear.
As the dewdrops fade into afternoon delight
the evening comes a calling with a beautiful starlit night.
The furry ones scurry towards peaceful repose.
In the forest they'll sleep till the morning light glows.
Peace and love flourish in this forest all day long.
May your mind enjoy the beauty before it's all gone.

Tumbled into this world head first.
Knowing not what was in store.
Along the way some bubbles burst.
Yet on this journey I found my core.
First years were filled with pain and grief.
Lost child was I with no direction.
Seemed I'd never be granted relief.
I was so hungry for love and affection.
As I grew up the colder I got.
Took myself down a rocky road.
Still there were many visions sought.
Yet couldn't shake off this heavy load.
Time spent in shadows then turned to dawn.
As life rolled on so much was learned.
Soon a lot of the pain was gone.
Calm set in ,the right bridges were burned.
Now love surrounds me as does laughter.
I've found peace and also strength.
Finally know what I'm dancing after.
A road like this takes lots of length.

I'll be your Bonnie if you'll be my Clyde.
Together we'll swim out against the tide.
I'm your queen and you are my king.
I can't describe the joy you bring.
My best friend ever and the love of my life.
I want nothing more than to be your wife.
You get me like nobody has before.
You're my lover and so much more.
I know I'm your soul mate and you are mine
sure as I know the clouds' design.
I'm wrapped around your finger forever.
Loving you is my life's endeavor.
You are an angel that fell from Heaven;
From one through ten-you're an eleven!
You know you are all I completely adore.
I've given you the keys to my hearts corridor!
You are the answer to my raging desire.
My midnight dancer and you have me on fire!
You know you are my idea of perfection.
It's amazing how we share this spiritual connection!
You complete me in more ways than one.
Loving you is my life's mission under the sun!

Just a single thought, and my heart begins to rhythmically beat
My breath gets caught, and from the start you made me feel so complete.
Such joy like I've never known, for heartache has always hindered me.
This beating beneath my breastbone beats to each stanza in my poetry.
You've awakened a love I never thought existed, and showed me so many things.
Cupids arrow flew, but i missed it, and then I stole his bowstring!
But there is no use fighting anymore, for I've given you the key.
Now you travel my hearts corridor, and you'll forever remain a part of me!!
I want you always in my heart, through every up and down.
We'll ride the storms out with our love, and I'll always be around.
You bring a sweetness to my life that I have never known.
I live to read your poetry, and hear your voice on the phone.
The angels, I know are watching us high in the sky above.
They even whispered in my ear you'd give me all your love.
Because of you I'm happy again, and I never felt so free.
I give you my body, heart, and soul, cos' you are now a part of me.

I love to rummage through Op shops
Named Charity shops to some
I enjoy finding a bargain
Whether vintage, rustic, whatever….it’s fun!
I grew up poor having a single parent
So money was tight indeed
Being the youngest it was mainly hand me downs
Or a visit to the op shop to get what I need!
So, it is in my blood I do believe
My sisters and I all love a decent rummage
Finding treasures at bargain price
Enjoying sister fun and laughter while doing it!
Sometimes you get caught up in the moment
And buy just for the sake of it
Get home at look at your treasures
Thinking… why did I buy this s**t!!
Justifying it by saying “It’s for charity”
Telling myself once again to refrain
Until, I get a sister txt or call
It’s off to the op shops I go again….

I can't control what I'm feeling inside.
Come with me baby and take this ride;
I'll take you where you wanna go!
In a rush or soft and slow.
Never again will you be lonely.
Want to be your true love only.
Let them talk-it won't make me run.
Just let me be your number one!
You will be my number one, two, three, four, and five.
Just believe in me, for I've never felt so damn alive!
Let them talk, it's just the jealousy in them.
You better not walk, for we are the perfect item!
They can feel my rhymes, this magical, and heavenly flow
People prejudged me for my crimes, and yet only a few really know
You loved me from the start, and yet you didn't care what I'd done
So I gave you my heart, and made you my number one!

last two....

hotsy totsy cutesy
does the watutsy
on your backbone
touchy feely girlie
serenades senses early
with design of her own
deep tissue
is the issue
fingers probe and prod
kneading, rubbing
muscles in a wad
heavenly bliss
mind seems to kiss
edges of the mirage
now fully awake
no mistake
afterglow of
a massage.

Love always finds away
When a cycle to understand,
Now together forever
For Milt, his journey over
a gift so lovely returned.

Your words speak to me, causing my heart to furiously race.
It's poetic ecstasy and I can literally see your angelic face!
Each stanza, each line, gives me images in my mind's eye.
You bathe me in your sunshine and the warmth begins to amplify!
With our poetry we collaborate, and I can't help but fantasize.
Your verse makes it hard to concentrate, and your comments give me butterflies!
I want to reach out and caress you; sorry, but I don't mean to make you blush.
So baby let me undress you with this sensual poetic crush!
Allow me to stroke you, feel your warm breath as I write each line.
Capture you with my poetry, knowing you are the fabric and design.
As the sweet words tumble out of me, I know you feel it too.
This poetic crush has got to me and baby I know what to do!
I'll memorize these lines so I can whisper them in your ear.
When the time comes that I can actually hold you near.
You won't be sorry or afraid for these words I write are true.
This poetic crush will quickly turn to love, something brand new!
Note: I wrote 1st and 2nd stanzas
Deb Wilson wrote the 3rd and 4th stanzas (I love this Deb!)

B.C.
Before Christ walked the planet,
Civilization’s rose and fell,
Pyramid pics show a light bulb,
Underground and lighted well,
Batteries from ancient Iraq,
Are in the worlds museums,
Cataract surgery, done before the Romans,
So we had to learn it soon.
Power sources of the crystal,
Vibration have we at the core,
All of life vibrates, the mystical,
Tuaoi stone was one power source.
might it still be in the triangle,
used for directing ancient Aeroplane's ,
Submarine's followed yes, its angle,
centuries now in the great abyss.
Spirit is our natural state,
On this physical earth adventure,
When death comes it’s out the gate,
Take another childbirth censure?

As I compose these rhymes, I've been contemplating on what to do.
Because there are times I've been debating if this is real what I feel for you!
I'm utterly amazed by the amount of desire I feel.
And I'm kinda dazed, questioning if this internal fire is real.
But whether wrong or right, one thing rings true.
I have a ravenous appetite for the love of you!
I compare you to past loves - you are so much more.
To love and be loved, I'd never do again, I swore.
But gazing into your beautiful eyes I know it's time.
This love of you's so fierce I couldn't stop on a dime!
But whether wrong or right, one thing is true.
I have an incredible hunger for the love of you!
Note: I wrote first stanza and Deb wrote the second.
