Conflagration
Kindling
building upon the edge
of the fortress,
--slights—
real and imagined,
--daggers—
slashing scars
stabbing wounds
untended
--Cupid’s arrows—
piercing a heart
repelled
in stony silence
--Anger’s tinder—
aching
for immolation
--a lone spark—
igniting
the brittle detritus
A Perfect Storm
raging
against the confines
of its life.

Gather ‘round the global table —
All ye kings of the earth,
and ye queens of the dirt
The self-anointed,
the ballot appointed
So much kilt kill filth is on your skirts!
Fate chosen leaders hellbent
to take their loyal legion of followers
on the final dark descent
As the nuclear fires of rage ascend
from the bottomless pit
of unrighteous warmongering
So be the firmament decree:
Let the last conflagration begin
Assemble together ‘round the tilted spin —
All ye lying kings of the crimson earth,
with your lyoness queens of the red dirt
The peace usurpers,
the armistice pretenders
How much bloodshed is of profitable worth?
Abyss power surges through your collective soul,
as the covetous spindle madly turns out of control
Dark reign clouds veil the brimstone sky
Ember vestiges of humanity’s lost virtues
are left blowing in the wind ...
never to be candlelight found again
Only exodus death seen mushrooming,
the last conflagration is fiery furnace starting
Pyre heaps tragically rising
from the fervent vows of heated confrontation
Heart wrenching cries is the drenching fallout
Every good hope dies
in the nuclear ashes scattered about
There won’t be enough Geiger counters
to measure the rad level of grief: A cratering shout
heard in that mourn awakening
Of this, there’s no doubt:
Nagasaki memories
are amnesia tucked in
Hiroshima dreams
Who will truly remnant cry
for the lullaby masses
on that final underground migration?
As the awful burnings above
end all the clashes
Tear reckoning be strange love
Weeps heard in the last conflagration
Blazing structured ball of heat,
like a fist full of anger, Only
wanting to defeat spreading over
natures land, wiping out man kind.
Wrapping its burning body tightly
over what ever it may find, hear
the flowers and the tree as they
softly let out there cries of defeat.
Burning into rubble on the dusty
ground: that was once beautiful.
To hear natures sounds, to have
been suffocated, Strangled by naked
flames. Intoxicated with fumes,
drained from the last breath. Fire
surviving on our oxygen, spreading
it way across the earth, I watch as
configuration forms in front of my
very eyes. Like an illusion confine
Myself, like a liquid type substance.
Human mind conflicting my energy
To defeat the mind of fire to
battle against the air, wind and
the oxygen, to save the land from
nuclear combustion. I shall place my
shields of energy over the earth, and
to suffocate the fumes of fire, to
breathe in every last breath it holds,
being able to stand watching its light
Diminish and be able to sit back and
watch as the magic of nature rebuilds
what evil curses once destroyed.
Skin's on fire
The burning comes from within
It warms but does not consume
Trapped in close
It threatens sanity
Where's the release?
A touch grazes thigh
A new trail blazes
A scream stifled
Where did it go?
Is this falling?
Will the dark end?
The heat rises again
The roller coaster clicks
The glow returns
And it escalates
Too close! Too close!
Feathers and wax melt away
Sharpness erupts
Nipples erect
Arching raises them skyward
Wordless mouth opens
Gaping eyes smolder
Knives slice invisibly
There it is
There it went
Slack trumps form
Laying flat without thought
The darkness returns
Void envelopes
But gravity returns
It pulls upwards
Towards the sun again
Towards pain and ecstasy
I breathe and wish that
the air
wasn't filled with a
thousand ashen yesterdays
that float aimlessly
lost.
I taste their bitter end and
know they can never
be put together again - memories
ever so fragile, before they're blown
into
tomorrow's fires where
I feel their
helplessness...
I know, without reason,
that the flames,
will never die
because they are
perpetually fed by
what I fear...
A growing
conflagration;
desire,
a forest fire
metastasizing
like cancer.
You are
like honey
drizzled
on my tongue.
I drink you
in gulps; my crying
hunger for you consumes...
me.
I crave you that much!

Yield me back control so you can be at peace.
While frantically clutching, I frequently stumble.
submerged in an underworld inside artifice.
For a glimpse of truth, as it seems to crumble.

Making adjustments to personas for success
For a glimpse of truth, as it seems to crumble,
While culture avoids rivalry or fake happiness.

Aiming for true integration through a disguise.

I hazard wearing a mask that you may despise.
Aiming for true integration through a disguise.
During this time, songbirds that are asleep sigh.
I hazard wearing a mask that you may despise.
My heart breaks for the rainbow moon nearby.
By the time songbirds that are asleep sigh,
Many sides ignite a journey into the unknown.
My heart falls on the rainbow moon nearby.
I must persevere till I feel peace skin of my own.
