Notes About The Poem

A Conflagration

A growing
         conflagration;
               desire,
           a forest fire
          metastasizing
            like cancer.
              You are
            like honey
             drizzled
         on my tongue.
           I drink you
     in gulps; my crying
 hunger for you consumes...
                 me.
   I crave you that much!
