SHALL WE DANCE

Shall we dance, as two snakes encircling one another,
A bite to the strike, whom draws the first blood of
Passions bitter poison.
Venomous vipers, engaged in a twisted game of hidden desires,
Shielded by golden bands of confinements vows of promise,
Yet yielding under the guise of the serpent’s folk tongue.
Reptilian lovers Intertwining, beneath the light rays of the
Elliptical moons illumination, deceiver’s side slithering,
The truth of reality’s harsh dawning to come.
Desert tempest creatures, crushed under the swelling
Sand storms of destiny, rising in the winds rip tidal shift
Of exotic’s throngs of passion, then dashed upon the
Rocks of calamity’s destructive force.
Behold the skins of shame, we’ve shed in this our lost
Garden of paradise called Eden, as we descend limb
By limb, unraveling, retanggling, in a mutual enticement’s
Partaking of the unripen fruit, in this the harvested
Orchard of deceit, and lies of pleasure spoils.
Rattling’s bad to the bone species, are these
Deceiver’s dwelling under the moonlight,
Loves vanquished, by passions burnt embers
Of lusts cold blooded flame.
Veracity’s fiercest retile's in mortal combat
With their human hearts, or their raw physical
Basic instincts, the animal within themselves,
The beast of desire, exposing the coiling in raptures
After glow of the exotic.
In the emerald eyes of the snakes flashing, these
Are the transfixed, paralyzed prisoners of loves
Passionate vipers, the cursed of the forbidden.
Poisons intoxicated figures, silhouetted in the red
Moons seduction zone, he the hooded king cobra,
And I his empress taipan of the orient.
Glittering do our scales of temptation, damnation,
Oh but to die in this incoilment’s display of eternal
Abandonment, a climatic apex of poisonous predators,
Ripping, tarring at their bare exposed fleshes
Atonement, unsheived are these carnivores
Of passion.
Shall we dance, as two snakes encircling one another,
A bite to the strike, whom draws the first blood
Of passions bitter poison.

The Circle

We learn to sit and then to crawl
Because our view is just too small.
From crawling next we start to walk;
Confinements only make us balk.

Once we can walk, we learn to run;
Our exploration has begun
And once adulthood is unfurled,
We head on out to see the world.

The years flash by; our running days
Return us to a former phase.
Again we walk, with waning pep,
Reverting to a slower step.

We skip the crawl but soon see fit
To find a cozy place to sit
And once we’re settled in a seat,
We know life’s circle is complete.

Sensless ( Part Two )

In all these triumphs and human attainments
To overcome these realities of material boundaries and confinements
Do we simply fill our lives with possessions and possessive capitalist greed
Is it just ego and the fear of death that governs our sense of individuality

Have not all of us been children, been fathers or mothers, siblings and friends
Do we not count the emotion of another as being equal to our own
Are we not each and everyone, all of us in this together
Or does this blood run a different colour

Or do we waste our potential for mankind’s united evolvement
To reach for the inspiring pinnacle of our spiritual development
Mutually joined in a harmony of trust to the betterment of our destiny

When do we celebrate the diversity of our sense to make sense of the senseless

And so we have lingered through the century’s victim to our own disease
In progress and with education our intelligence still limited in tribal ignorance
The mathematic, scientific and technological revolution providing no solution

Simply confounded by our own simplicity and basic needs
For food and warmth, for shelter and love, for the relief of boredom
Cavemen of the mundane and slaves to acquisition and our own entertainment
As we merely continue to continue

Such is as we are, the problem vis-à-vis the individual and the global
Knowing all to well what we could achieve if we could but realise our dreams
Doomed to a life which creates nothing but want
And a daily reminder of all the things that we can’t

While the cradle of the Earth sickens with our planetary abuse
Have we truly lost ourselves in the all about the money all the way of things
Have we signed our fate over to our own arrogance and blind stupidity

When then do we celebrate our diversity of sense to make sense of "our" senseless

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

I Chose

I chose
I could’ve been
A homebound hermit,
Hypnotized by the hum
And hue,
Of a high-tech
HD computer screen.
A slave
To the
Rhythmic rap
Of
Clicking keys;
Depriving me
Of much
Needed rest.
I’d Search
For Love
And friendship
In a network
Of strangers,
Oblivious to
The world
Outside.

I would’ve
Made a great
Defense lawyer.
With my
Appetite to argue.
I’d rescue
Common crooks,
Convicted of crimes;
From the
Confinements
Of a cell.
I’d lobby
For leniency
With lavish
Litigation laws.
Dedicating myself
To Dissembling
The Death penalty
I should’ve
Joined
The army,
A proud patriot,
Surpassing
My peers
Through promotion;
From a potato peeling private,
To a more
Prominent position.
Pushing my
Paratroopers out
Of a plane.
Parading my men
On the field
Of battle.
I’d receive
A war
Winning wound,
Perhaps a
Purple Heart.

I could’ve
Been a detective.
Cleverly cracking
Cold cases-
CSI style,
Coercing confessions
From criminals
And Con-men.
Collecting a
Cheap watch,
As compensation
For my commitment
To the precinct.

I should’ve
Been a doctor.
Devoting my life
To curing
The incurable,
Letting long hours
Deprive me
From family.
Always
At the
Beckon call,
Of work
Provided beeper.
Carrying out
Curative procedures,
On clients
That are
Scarcely clinging
To life.

I would’ve
Made a
Terrific teacher.
Choosing to
Live my life
Through the
Youthfulness of
My students.
Teaching them
To take on
The world
With caution
And Confidence.
Lecturing them
With lessons
Of longevity.
Disguising
My desire-
Jealous of
Their youth.

My choice,
Was not to
Focus on
One aspect
Of life,
But to
Experience
Them all.
With the stroke
Of a pen,
I walk
All paths.
I chose
All destinies.

I could’ve
Been this,
Or been that…

I should’ve
Done this,
Or done that…

I would’ve
Made this
Or made that…

Instead,
I chose to write.

Social Justice

Social justice is the fair and just relation between the individual and society.
I am an American
I just want fair and just treatment
wanting my fellow man and government
to represent, me
fairly
A measured explicit and tacit terms
for the distribution of wealth, opportunities
for personal activity and social privileges
this is social justice
fairly
I am black-African American
I just want fair and just treatment
wanting my fellow man and government
to represent, me
fairly
I profess Christ in my life
I am not ashamed to tell my boss or my job
religious discrimination
retail and governmental confinements work on required days
Or your fired
just want a right to be respected
fairly
There are four types of justice

Distributive, procedural, restorative and retributive.
I just want to be equally representative
child labor, miss-cradled
Racism, still hating for the color of our skins
education, teach the same have the same contents of books
Shelter/housing, all should have a descent place affordable place to live
Bullying, corruption jealous ashamed people sorrowful wanting power over you
Medicine, disabled people I must miss some meals sell my used car to afford
poverty I control but yet my governmental task masters really control
I am a Christian
Not ashamed to tell you or the government
I just want fair and just treatment
wanting my fellow man and government
to represent, me
fairly
Economic justice is a component of social justice
It's a set of moral principles
I need equal opportunity created for a sufficient
material foundation upon which to have a dignified, productive, and creative life beyond economics.
to represent, me
fairly
Racism, violence in schools, drug abuse
Unemployment,
Hunger and unfair labor conditions
Main reason we're in this
Is because of individual free-choice process
rarely
I am human caught in this mess
Called social justice?

Through the Wall

This morning I left my bed
With reticence in my bones.
The old house shifted and settled
In another transitional place.
The car groaned changes of metal
Unlike what I came to expect.

Conservative witches chant
How maintenance is all worth,
How we must hold onto illusion
Despite the human expense,
How the fixing of the form
Preserves the meanings we make.

But what of matter matters?
The temple will have to fall.
The force that feeds the image
Is hungry to have it back;
And pain from feeling this motion
Is born in confinements of minds.

If I could question the Source,
I would beg it to clarify
Hints moving through my blood
Of the many reduced to the one.
I would ask if matter and I
As a part of it commune.

If the war on the external edge
Addresses my fall or my flaw,
My vision is forced to meander
Beneath its localized light.
I cannot stop moving for guilt
Over dreams played out in the dark.

I realize some who retain
Find it imposition to give.
I know a well measured cup
Diminishes even by drops.
I suspect that my fear of death
Is forgetting how to touch.

Yet all of these changes remind
How love can rend and flow
Through the hardest mental wall,
How passages render all hope.
And how the most saddening death
Can nourish another life.

In Dreams

In dreams
I can do anything
no feats impossible
I fly deep
into the abyss
conquering my fears
I am more
alive inside
Than I’ve ever been
Released from
the confinements of
this life’s mortal limits

Love and Rhyme Captured In Poetic Paradigm

Our lives center around love, dreams and a common wish to be forever surrounded by happy (and for the poet, poetic) themes. Just close your eyes and set yourself free! Escape to that place where Light & Happiness unites with Love & Eternity. A meeting that can only take place when you flee the social confinements this world and our society often impose. Look forward to a happiness that is within your power to create-- Be the master of your own destiny!

A bird of hope and love takes flight, and with it dreams can soar to an even greater height. Where there is a will there is a way, for love to finally stay. Although it might have journeyed far and wide, its wings never saw rest, yearning for its true loving nest. The place where fidelity exists, because love persists. A place where bonds of affection remain unbroken and a lifetime of happiness is all that's spoken. And all that remains for us to do is choose--choose to pursue that path of flight, where truth and friendship never fight. Then, and only then, will you find your days in this world to be filled with calm and serenity and a Great Light---The Light With No End!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>giving me renewed might
>>>>>>>>>>>>>to be forever in your site
>>>>>>>>>>>your loving, shining knight

The Ex

Looking back at the past relationship I've had
I question why I stayed when it was so bad
The only conclusion I can draw; he had me hook line and sinker
Controlled confined from life, no more an original thinker
I thought as I saw what he was doing and I was in control
But his manipulative ways eventually took there final toll
No confidence left, no opinion that could be shared
His dissatisfaction from that I wouldn't be easily scared
But just when he thought he had me in a shadow of who I was before
I rebelled thought screw you and I'm not taking anymore
I’ll never forget his face drop as I packed to leave
Set free from his confinements I was finally freed
It makes me laugh his attempts to win me back
That is a misery is something I couldn't again hack.
That ex significant other is the one that makes you question why?
Why didn't I see it sooner why prolong something that’s set to die?
Why did I waste my time building a bond that’s sure to break?
My wasted efforts to make it work a truly a big mistake
I have learnt from the heart ache and emotional torment
One vital Fact Ive taken from it all; not to need accent
Accent to the way I live my life or my choice in opinions that I have
I wish him all the misery I endured and his conscience to never be salve.
If only I had, had a warning of what he's like and what I should expect
I’m pretty sure it would of sounded something like the following txt
Your life is not your own no more you should put my feelings first
 Ill take away your confidence
Self worth will day each day
Acknowledgment will be received its done my way
Your tastes will change to fit my likes and when your spirits gone..
I will continuously put you down and convince you that your wrong
Cut you o? from your friends
Socially confined
Overtime il take it all, but never be satisfied.

He Knows

You can't kill
a man with soul
They forgot to engrave
His fate on his forehead
And draw the roads
To a proper life on his palms
But he knew
He knew that life belongs
To those who could touch
Touch bodies, send messages
Through skin
Seek one another in sense
Taste the fibres of dreams
Through the mist
And drink sweat from
The man who has taken
Against the mountain
One who isn't afraid to dream
he watches her in his sleep
she is the example of steady fate
Eyes sharper than razor blades
A mouth quicker than a whip
But smiles like the sun
Could rise from inside it
Bringing with it rays
Of happiness and hope
She says its a place she's seen
De ja vu or a dream
Something,
Its untouched and oh so new
She fears it
She loves it
He wants to see it
Feel it
Bodies wrestling against
The staccato rhythm of the hearts
That ask to be spoon fed
From the pot of molten feelings
Trying to find their place
In eyes all too familiar to the quest
But not looking to verify
Its findings nor its confinements
You can't kill a man with soul
He knows

Death Dishonorable

Deepening black of the coming night
Foretelling of the evil things to come
Swirling black clouds filled with might
The blackened place that hate comes from

Senses sharpened, sight honed blade sharp
Keen eyes searching in the blanketing fog
Tick tock tick... sanity of mind departs
Terror leaps from behind the broken old log

High pitched keening swells in broken notes
Rushing blood pummel confinements of the mind
Teasing wind shrieks and playfully gloats
your sanity is missing, left for you to find

Pervading evil and madness glittering cold
Bone shattering lonliness fills your soul
Terror... terror... terror... vicious hold
Paralyzed in a death that is dishonorable

By Invite, Aquaintance

Confinements of thought have digested esteem
In a roving concern any fairytale can -
And it tells him for instance that this is no dream,
But a time spoke, Amera, was when it began.

A knowing adventure where verse in formation
Converge with precision exploring folklore,
The illusion equipped makes the fairy creation
Adorned to as pure by, nostalgia she wore.

While the aura surrounding the fondly unique,
Surmounts to a survey like day dreaming brings
I can feel the plethora that moves me to intrigue,
Endearment’s to wavering those beautiful wings.

And to outstretch belief that the tangible bond
Is a day dream of plenty with integral wealth,
Compared with the etchings from minds eye beyond,
Then the image quite clearly resembles that elf.

How rhetoric spreads where prominence stands,
She’s an ideal replacement that no land can fill
And her place is reserved in a space that expands
To be duly acquainted with words she’d fulfil.

While leaving unsolved to abscond as the others,
She’ll weave a romance while the legend is warm
My believing her true, like those fantasy lovers,
Distinctive of traits do the dearest transform.

When completion is ready, the story exists,
As a Midsummer’s Dream in a moment to waste
Was expected to finish, instead found the mist-
Defining the treasure I found in my haste.

There is love of a kind that explores the bereft,
And no story can tell whether legend or myth
Discovers that distance what eye sight is left,
I am blind, but my feelings are with you therewith.

Love Whispers

Love whispers
Love whispers in my ears
Demanding I smile in the darkness
Soothing my fears in the dark
Holding my hand in the waves
Steadying the beat of my heart
Drying the tears in my eyes
Love whispers in my ears.

Love whispers in my silence
Finding me when in hiding
Lighting up my dark corners
Breaking the shackles that hold me back
Touching my downcast face
Love whispers in my silence.

Love whispers in my loneliness
Filling my heart with songs
Giving life to my numb legs
Breaking the ice that binds my heart
Unveiling my eyes so I can see splendor
Love whispers in my loneliness.

Love whispers in my confinements
Setting me free from my prisons
Opening wide the gates to my heart
Guiding me in this maze am in
Step by step walking beside me
Love whispers in my confinements.

Love whispers
And I always hear, because you are so near
Love holds, and I have no fear
Because you are always stronger
Love calls and to you I run
Because you are not a stranger
Love pardons and wipes my tears
And I am free, for you promised
Love whispers...

Love whispers...
Every minute minute,
Calling, cheering, uplifting,guiding...
Sometimes it corrects and i learn
Sometimes it lets me hit the ground
But it picks me up and whispers
And I learn which paths not to take
Love whispers... and I always hear.

Stuck

Stuck
Help me
I cannot move
I have forgotten your name

Stuck
With no escape
Only this abjectness
And the entirety of my pain

Stuck
But I have a plan
I will overwhelm my body with oxys
Then barf the life right out

Stuck
Now; in the confinements
Of a failed institution
Nowhere to go-
My only choice
Was to travel adventurously
Down to
The furthest extent of
My viciously evolving thoughts

Struggle

The sheltering of are heart is pure
for God covers it with his love
but the bonds of flesh try to escape
to leave the confinements of are soul
what is this flesh to us?
is it not just meat and bone?
is not are soul a means to an end
and a new beginning....
