Brittany

Brittany
It means adorable, clever,and gifted,
It is the number 13,
It is like a rose,
It is laughing at a funny joke,
It is the memory of my mom,
Who taught me honesty and responsibility,
When she asked me to babysit the kids,
My name is Brittany,
It means believing in your dreams and never letting anyone tell you that you can or can not do something.

Message In a Bottle-Love-Brittany

The soft melodies of the night time
They whisper to me so sweetly
Reminding me of the past
When we acted as one
Together always
Never fading
Always with
You in
Love

To Brittany Flood

Seven years, one for each of the sages,
Who rose up to lay the law of the ages,
Lessons learned in love and depravement,
I've abused abasement to the point of containment,
A deranged modality attempts to explain it,
Cuz my pain remains until I make these statements.

The central axiom is a fear of the Flood,
When it come, can't be an unprepared bad boy slinging mud,
I'll make commitments fit for public witness,
Burn bridges and get rid of this burn out image,
You know me, I'm the tortoise, not the hare,
I take my time when its important, ya hear?

Never knew how to love, just corrupt,
Never knew how to express, just erupt,
Clever dude who can impress in dress up,
But stressed with messed up feelings of never having enough,
We were young and dumb,
Played with fun and thunder,
Til I drove us apart in an emotional blunder.

Being divided was risky business,
And I've been so high I know my options are limitless,
But I didn't stray to far from my anchor,
It was a gamble to see if I was sank or,
If I would find some truth in freedom,
Like its meaningless unless shared with someone equal,
So the sequels been great but its just the prequel,
To the real story that just became believable.

A simple campaign born from a heart shaped sigil,
Collaborative good will and I schemed a little,
The end result is that my plan went diamond,
Let the Flood wash over me like I'm Leviathan,
There is no denying this is what you deserve,
A unique moment for beauty so absurd,
Meant only for a certain kind of nerd,
Produced by a wordsmith that loves all you serve.

If others only knew the way you carried me,
Up from my own hell after they jailed me,
You rarely fail even though I've failed you,
You've proven to me that love is true,
And for that I'm going to freakin' marry you.

Market In Brittany, France

MARKET IN BRITTANY, FRANCE

Lost my kids once just for a minute or so in the market: needle in haystack.
Busy and purposeful Sunday morning. Fascinating bee hive but I wanted my kids back

Thought they might be next to the glass beads jostling and rattling on a necklace chain,
Or near the polished fossils, and bags clinking their collections sea-shells from Spain.
I squinted for their faces in the crowd, as rows of cheap eyeglasses looked invitingly
Over  at the gaudily-decorated casual  shoes,  just arrived breathless from Turkey;
And stalls overflowing with flame-coloured dresses - Moroccan, from Agadir -
Trying to inch down to the ground like wriggling children. But not my children dear.

Toy insects buzzing joyfully and plastic windmills whirring playfully in the breeze
And serious-minded compasses busy seeking north didn’t fill my search with ease.

Noisy price-haggling. African traders switching from the language of Germany to Wales,
or even to Arabic, as they sensed customers's different interests and possible sales.
Chinese and Vietnamese comparing views in French, their only common tongue.
No doubt, my three had slipped their leash and were hiding: they were young.

The swish of the decorative paper garlands  in the breeze  was near-lost in the crowd;
And the conflict between Breton folk-music and American heavy-metal rock so loud.
And I listened to the colourful chatter pulsate
Of traders trying to persuade money to leave your wallet.
Girls in sandals and sunglasses. Old ladies in floral patterns and blue-rinsed hair.
Young men eyeing girls trying on dresses …… but my three were not there.

Ah - but then! At the ice cream stall I saw three hungry mouths, kept
Pressed to the glass. Three money-less urchins all glad to see dad. I swept
Them up in my arms and started to relax and enjoy the market.
I’d lost my kids for just about one minute.

Brittany Larson

She was nice
The moment i met her

She helped me
When i needed it most.

I thank her
For the way she taught me

Taught me that poetry
Is what you feel.

Brittany Larson
is one of a kind

open and caring
Loving and smart

I never would have made it
If i never met

Brittany Larson.

For Brittany Maynard

That frightened Child
With the woman's eyes
Felt a dread
She could not disguise;
She asked, "Oh Lord,
What have I done
For you to beckon
One so young?"
The Lord answered,
"You have no sin.
A special place lies within
My arms for you.
I gave you wings
My cherished one;
Spread them now...
And come. "

Brittany Had An Adorable Bunny

Brittany had an adorable bunny,
this little pet was somewhat funny;
it was a gift from uncle Benny who owned a farm
he told her, " Please, pick the one with the most charm! "

A year passed and the white bunny ate more food and grew,
he jumped up when Brittany's mom made chicken or beef stew,
she always gave him a big bowl to make his belly full;
kids came around and tickled him...oh, he was so cool!

Brittany had an adorable bunny,
she fed him milk and strawberry
and wouldn't let any stranger pat or play with him...
oh, without his presence her day would have been dim!

One Friday morning when Brittany was in school, the bunny
was lured away by one of her friends whose name was Betty;
she had an Easter basket stuffed with jelly beans: the treat of a vengeful child...
she carried him across the road, but they both got hit by a speeding car and died!

A 2nd Poem About Brittany Murphy

She was a very beautiful woman, both inside and out.
She was one hell of a lady; that's what I'm talking about.
The world became a better place in 1977 on the day of her birth.
She married in 2007 and her husband was the luckiest man on Earth.

She starred in Drexell's Class, Almost Home, and Sister Sister.
She was a wonderful human being and people will miss her.
She was a talented lady and she was very sweet.
I regret that the two of us didn't get a chance to meet.

It was very sad that the Lord decided that it was time for her to leave.
She was surrounded by loved ones when she was buried on Christmas Eve.
She was unique; there will never be another person like her again.
Millions of people are devastated because her life came to an end.

(DEDICATED TO BRITTANY MURPHY WHO DIED DECEMBER 20, 2009.)

Brittany

You came back again
when I thought you were lost
One little word
one little letter
And you came back
and gave me a summer

You gave me hope
that I still mattered
Helping me not to give up
and keep going
A kind heart
one I don't normally feel from people

You're still a little distant
because of things we can't control
But you're always there
when I need you
And it's nice to think
this lasted for so many years

Brittany Knows

Brittany knows my little secret.
She knows I’m flying over the moon:
A euphoric feeling.
I’ve been wanting love for ages.

Brittany blushes!
“Oh, I’ve been telling her stories how great he is!”
I’ll heed every piece of advice she gives;
I learned to contain my excitement as it is.

Brittany drew a fire on her eyes
When she knew that my efforts weren’t romantic enough
“You need to be more passionate”, she said.
I wonder if I am truly man enough.

Brittany knows I’m smitten with the unknown,
But she hopes for the best of my relationship,
And I will linger this feeling
Of being not alone anymore.
