To be blocked, it’s black and white or grey as a rock.
You can exist and be present, like floating particles in the air,
no mudslinging expressed but someone will make it their nosy affair.
Then a block, no valid reason for them to act like an angry cock!

A childish act of them trying to grasp a little control,
But they’ll end up acting like the biggest troll.
Past behavior often predicts their present one,
it’s only a matter of time before they’ll run.

I will never use my control to cowardly block,
instead, I'll enjoy reading real poetry around the clock.
Not AI generated with flowery alliterated words,
Or full of garbled rhymes that are just plain absurd.

My poor heart aches as my mind cogitates
upon the deep desires of my dark soul,
and searching for profound truths that can be
expressed in mystic subtle syllables.
Alas such thoughts come at the worst of times.
I dream of them, elusive to extreme.
I wake and these abstractions spiral up
into nothingness of infinity,
ethereal concepts lost into space,
misty spectral reveries, brown studies
of doubtful natures, devious musings
of negligible earthly happenings.
All lost, unattainable conceptions,
leaving me spiritless limp and listless,
a ramekin of moronic despair,
riding a foamy crest of frustration.
Until my looking glass is tinted rose,
the black clouds break and faith is reassured.
Then I shall take up my pen and paper
and scribble all my endless worthless thoughts.
Alas that holy day is still to be.

All That Remains Of Yesterdays Wishes

Old flame memories, and game show repeats,
viewed through tobacco, it's smoke fills the room,
loneliness, only, stays glued to defeat,
blue-bottles, can't help, but choke on the gloom.

Dreams like the remote, corroded to rust,
unopened, unpaid, bills sit by the door,
surrendered and lost, to despair and dust,
no-one levelled up, around here for sure.

Each day's an ashtray, of stub filled regret,
while moth eaten drapes, block out the world's light,
another neat gin, will help to forget,
added indifference, towards day and night.

The blocked drains and sink, dirty old dishes,
all that remains of, yesterday's wishes.

Premium Member Beach, Lo Yonder

I viewed an ocean that I could not reach.
Water beckoned me but my path was blocked.
The rocky boulders protected the beach,
Leaving me a glimpse from my window panes.
The rocks seemed to smile at me whom they mocked,
And when the clouds greyed, it gave me remorse
That my travels were stopped by rock's cruel chains,
And I chose instead to redraw my course.
I moved from my home by sea and by beach.
Good-bye to the ocean that I couldn't reach.

Blocked

I once knew a girl who lived far away,
Who told me a fairy tale one sunny day,
We would be friends for evermore,
I would never be shown the door,
I called her my friend but she wouldn’t stay,

The story is over the finish less than gay,
The fact is my life has been put in disarray,
Best friends an oath she swore,
But that doesn’t count anymore,
The pain I feel will end soon I hope and pray,

Blocked

I was
Rocked.
Then blocked,
Docked,
Locked,
Mocked,
Socked,
Focked,
Yes, blocked.
Thank you and
Fock you too.

The Un-Blocked Ones

Circles of people
engaged with their failure
continue living
a ruined dreams’ tenure.
Blocking.

Together they walk
they talk and they cry
for their past is revealed
hidden pain when they smile.
Unblocking.

Vanity their common feeling
but they do have knowledge now
for each one has to become
mirror to the rest somehow.
Blocking.

Feelings of a pale hope
floating on the air among
for the things that can be changed
nothing lasts for a lifelong.
Unblocking.

Deep inside they do know
they have to leave their burden
before carrying another one
nothing in life is for certain.
Blocking.

When one falls on the ground
others gently lift them up
because they entirely understand
that the kindness caused the wound.
Unblocking.

Blocked By Loss

Blocked By Loss

The words are all gone, their is nothing more to write
The right and left sides of my brain continually fight
Too many long sleepless, tired, restless nights
Inflating all the wrongs, ignoring all the rights...

Right here and now I struggle with paper and pen
For every word that I write, I have to erase ten
It took me at least a day just to get this first line in
This I'm not use to, how did this happen?...

I've been a thousand times more depressed, lonely, or sad
Just the other day everything was fine then it all turned bad
Not being able to express what I hold within is making me quite mad
If only I had someone to talk to...Where the hell are you Dad?...

You were always the one who corrected me and my troubled muse
You made me feel so intelligent even knowing I'd lost some screws
Your subtle hints all wrapped up in all of your cosmic clues
Four years to the day without the one person I couldn't afford to lose...

Locked,Blocked,Cocked

my back against the wall
and my mind set
i'll look back
for the last time
and go where
the wind blow me

i'm continued in life
like sequels in movies
my menu
is priced
from what i been threw

the odds
even
my place in this world
i was locked down in my
heart and mind
now release
i'm reaping all the
success i can find

what a relieve
to be the cheif
of my own
life line

Blocked

Two notifications by mail
Just informed us our payments did fail.
With no idea why,
They seemed to imply
We’d been hacked on a frightening scale.

My spouse placed a call to the bank;
Put on hold, we knew where we did rank.
For an hour I paced
Thinking someone erased
All our savings, the numbers all blank.

When an agent responded, he knocked
All our fears to the ground; we were shocked
To discover the fact
Our account was intact
But the bank had it purposely blocked.

Seems an update, at times, is required
And on my side, it somehow expired.
The problem was fixed
With several clicks
But a shot of tequila’s desired!

Blocked

Emotionally I have hit the wall
Speeding as a bullet
My flow was stopped sudden
Though the momentum still persists

Wriggling to break free
With arms tethered to the side
A self-created straightjacket
In this case keeps me in harm

I can see the answer ahead
Feel the sense of freedom it brings
But it seems so out of reach
Fingers that cant quite touch

The time that has passed terrifies
Years wasted in unhappiness
As if to break free is wrong-doing
I lay here motionless, still

If I was to die tomorrow
I would have but one regret
That I did not push on forward
Instead I wallowed in blocked

Locked and Blocked(In a War Torn Part of Africa)

A forceful pungent smell
Hits me from this piece of land
Smeared with the precious blood
Of countless innocent people

Many vultures here hover
Over carcasses
Of several dead

I hear syllables
Of the long familiar refrain
Tightly knit together
Sounding clearer and clearer
At each virtual instance:

Don't leave me in the dark
Don't leave me in complete darkness
Sweet sister

For long have I waited
The light of day
Passionately have I endured
The troubles of the gloomy hours

The sky is unusually starry
And overcast
Morning seems a thousand
Years distant.

Proclivity gave birth
To rapid procreation
Insincerity paved the chance
For lust and greed

Alas, this country is in prison
And constant fears
In morbid grief
And mortal tears.

Premium Member The Mist

Early daybreak
The mountainous areas
Still shrouded in mist
The sceneries cloaked
The surroundings look ghostly misty
Sunrays blocked
By mountains and trees
Difficult to see the road ahead
With the car's light on
A thick light
Penetrates through the mist
To give us some clear views
Before the mist finally lifted
By the sunrays
The mist just looks like
The evils and sordid affairs
In the existing world
Blocking our views
Only with light like wisdom
We can be saved
From all these illusions and fallacies

Blocked

Blocked

Immaculate
Like virgin snow
Untouched
By human hands
Or pen
I stare
At the stark white sheet
Where are the words
Not a clue
No words in my head
Words
Like bricks
Tumbling out of
A muddled mind
Building structures
Tarnishing
The white carpet
Beneath
But hey!
What's this?
A page full of words
Forming a pattern
Coming from within
Gracing the chaste white paper
I am blocked
No more.
