CERTIFIED CURSE’S ASSISTANT
Did you know there are places our old folk are kept?
And if sadly they have no one else a guardian must decline or accept
If they choose to eat they’re served the cheapest part of the pig of course
However these elders aren’t aware that they may be eating horse
You’ve got your cocky little C.N.A.’s who think they have absolute power
And they’ll ignore the old people’s pleas at any particular hour
“You know, “ I said to one “Mrs. Wagner hasn’t eaten in more than ten days”
The C.N.A. responded “don’t make me no never mind ” and then she asked for a raise
Many of the Nurses are the same damned way
They don’t give a damn what the elderly have to you say
Cold sores, bed sores mount up by the score
But they say, “it’s five o’clock and I’m out the door”
So to wrap things up tidily some of those places will kill the old
And believe me because I saw it first hand and wasn’t just told
The C.N.A.’s run around not listening to what Mr. Hirsh just said
Well perhaps they’ll take their job a little more seriously when they find Mr. Hirsh dead
These professionals act without care or concern
So in school a lack of sympathy is the first thing they learn
The frail and elderly should receive mercy from the staff
Instead they are at thee mercy of the staff, and that ain’t no laugh © 2011.…phreepoetree ~free cee!~
People. Shop Assistants too. Yes
I love them. I was a shop worker
Many years ago. Hmm. Nice time
Yes. This is a beautiful job. A style
Sometimes they are tired in the morning
I can understand them. I give them my smile
This is my style. Loving the people
They are reflecting on me. Hmm. Guys
Good to give happy feelings. Totally free
I am a lover. Of life. You love. Be kind

It was the exam of all exams to test the mind....The Soul....Phyiscal agility...Years of Coordination, and Comprehension Skills.... I went for a walk and the pool had a leak I happen to go ito the store and found a New Hubba Bubba Brand..... I looked at it before I chewed and saw that it had a new sugar wax on the side ... I looked at my pool and thought to myself with a pool full of water and 2 ft deep.... What do I do but make an imprint too... It was a centimeter round and had to go just right... I aimed correctly with everything I could see in sight.... Hand in the air and visualizing my aim.... I thought of a cue ball and racked balls ... It only took a few seconds .... if that at all .... I made it perfect right in the hole ... Took my index finger and smoothed the surface.... With a perfect seal I complimented myself was this this the final exam??? An Eight Ball in the Side pocket and now I am an ace...
Naomi has seen this sight many times before
She knows Mrs. Bee will be gone in two days
If not before
She makes her as comfortable as she can
The doctor comes in; he takes the lady’s hand
Attempts to speak with her
Naomi busies herself cleaning up the room
What do you think? The doctor asks the nurse
Her name is Paula, she is not empathic.
No idea says Paula. It could be two months or two minutes.
Paula spends much of her day playing video games.
Not paying any attention to her patients.
As a certified nursing assistant, Naomi is invisible.
No one asks her thoughts
Or realizes she is there
I am sorry, honey, she says.
I think you will be gone before your relatives get here.
Should we call the relatives? Paula asks.
No idea about the time line, he replies.
Naomi, the certified nursing assistant is correct.
The woman is gone before morning.
The assistant
At the doctor`s surgery, he had a young girl
training to be a diabetist; she had Chalcedony eyes
that shone brightly as onyx, her skin alabaster
without any blemish, a shy smile played upon her lips
a Mona Lisa unpainted.
I was a witness to perfection a beauty that can`t last
time will wear her down she will get a line between
her pert nose wrinkles around her eyes, of sadness
or laughter one hopes for the latter
Will the world fall into a devastating war and she
a victim of either hunger or radiation.
This didn`t mirror on her face only her glorious youth
and I was lucky to be an observer to the twinkling when
time stood still long enough for me to admire an ideal.
Computer personal assistants are the rage
As computers look to come of age
With female voices that are a hit for everyone
But the Germans want a male to say what is done
These have already raised sales for Amazon
By 10% of their sales won
But the funniest thing I have heard
Are the sexual fantasies some have for the voice so absurd.

Once there was a Master that was put on hold
The one keeping the green safe felt this was very cold
“We are trying to contact you!”
“About an issue that said the Master was through”
With the phone in the ear Augusta the assistant
Was forced just to listen
Acting very honest not needing a mask
The recording entertainment was the office work task
Seconds went by then minutes
And Augusta screamed ‘we are not getting into it’
“The Master is in the office waiting
And you have not picked up my call, I am stating”
Then there was a click
And a voice came on real quick
“The Master wants to speak
About this delay that is supposed to take weeks”
“We are sorry for this awful scar
On your century old spring tradition whose course is designed by a small word like par”
Okay the Master agreed to wait
With the goal everything in the end will be made straight
Hanging up the phone
Everyone was feeling alone
The Master needed to make that call
In order to be able to stand tall
When one is put on hold
It’s not due to being cold
There were people in front of the Master
Needing things done faster
Knowing it was all right to take time to administrator a shot
Using the fair way to get a good spot
And once the delay leaves the hazard
A major issue will be in tatters
The Master should carry on with the driving club
Realizing in the end patience will make it a success not a dud

She was the most beautiful model in grayscale I’d ever seen.
With a haughty smile, arrogant, a nineteen sixty-four queen.
She had Jackie’s air about her, and it was majestic and fine.
I wondered if her well-coiffured hair ever got a bit out of line?
I was assigned to be the photographer’s assistant that day.
We photographed her in every kind of insane, crazy way.
I ran to get a fishbowl and plopped it on her startled head.
The photographer gave me a look that told me I was dead.
Wait! The designer said. She needs big puff balls for her ears.
He took off the fish bowl, threw blobs in and quelled all my fears.
The photographer rolled his eyes, but kept clicking away.
A fishbowl on her head photo was the cover shot that darling May!
Now this indeed
is what we need,
for AI on IO told us so.
A Pendant around the neck
for which we will
dependent be.
Blind to eye,
anticipating,
but aiding,
watching,
assisting,
listening,
hearing,
feeling,
for me,
to be.
Virginia was looking for an adventure at sea
Her life was turned upside down due to being a worker bee
Stress took its toll in her honey loving hive
When one morning her romantic fantasy took a dive
Entering her cubicle filled with wax
Virginia was not prepared for the emotional attack
There was a delivery from a man who was her best
Had the control and sometimes acted like a pest
Opening the envelope there was a filled out form
That basically said, ‘I wish you were never born’
Feeling very scorned
She sat in her chair
Wondering who he had the affair
Was it Wendy who was good at doing a sale?
And numbers went up when profits did not fail
Dyson rolled the dice
Being ever so nice
Doing the financial book
With her glasses on she did have that look
Then there was Karen
At the bar she was luring, flirting, loving, and daring
Taking off the ring that said,
“I want you to be the one I wed”
Not in debt
Virginia greeted her teeth
Feeling the anger and heat
“There is something you should know
You were never my beau”
A message that had a sinister glow
Headed south Virginia did go
Ending a life highlighted being 'Bambi' the morning nimble doe
Leaving the secure corporate space
No longer wanting to fake that cover girl smile on her face
Paradise a waits
No obligations single fighting off hate
Weeks past
Peace at last
Then Virginia learned
A tragedy to her ex-boyfriend’s firm
A nasty giant bug spread throughout the perfect corporate land
Virginia relaxed enjoying the sand
A text did ping
“Miss Hornet here is the settlement from the working bee fling”
Smiling she reflected back
Knowing it was now fact
She was no fool
Watching the ocean blue
Since they had no case
Due to being confused in a rat race
Lee marginalized her assistant’s help.
Just a beginner, a bit of a whelp.
The assistant is queen.
Admired and seen.
And Lee’s at the fish market, selling kelp.
Nurse Nicole, with calmest eyes,
Moves through halls where silence lies—
Right hand steady, strong, and sure,
To Dr. Gabriel, she is pure.
Level-headed in the fray,
Guiding hearts from night to day,
With hands that heal and words that mend,
A fierce protector, faithful friend.
In every room, her kindness glows,
Like rivers where the soft wind blows,
Or streams that twist through shaded land—
She reaches out with healing hands.
She speaks in tones both firm and low,
Where pain and panic often grow,
And patients, lost in weary hours,
Feel her strength like sudden flowers.
Among green leaves and tangled trees,
She finds her peace in ocean breeze,
But never shuns the blood or bone,
The mess of life—she stands alone.
Empathy flows like summer rain,
Through aching hearts, through fear and strain,
And though the world may spin and call,
She’s busy, still, among us all.
A light in white, with soul so wide,
She walks where mortal hearts collide,
A woman made of will and grace—
The world feels safer in her place.
