Premium Member Spring Has Arrived With Joy

Clap your hands, sing with joy for warm spring is here.
Swallows are the first to arrive now the sky is clear,
Purple Martins perform aerial acrobatics
To snap up flying insects as is their tactics.
Chickadee small and pretty songbirds enthral
But the goldfinch is the most beautiful of all.

Below a dazzling garden so well designed,
Each patch adorned with fragrant flowers all lined
With special flowers of every marvellous pansies,
And in each patch, you'll find flowers which one fancies,
Impatiens, begonias, petunias, delightful in the breeze,
While all around work is began by pollination by the bees.

The Saucers Have Arrived!!!

they're here!
the saucers I've waited for...
It's hard to believe...
we've waited so long!

with a sense of wonder,
and a sense of joy...
at their arrival....
oh boy!...oh boy!...

yes, this seems to be
a red-letter day..
I'm left with only...
one more thing to say...

when, just when,
will we wait,
till kittens turn to pups,?
do you think I might expect...
to get the matching cups!...

When Her Brave Son's Coffin Arrived

She kissed her dead son's face
cold,pale,white and lifeless,
then started talking to him
as if he was alive,
or her words would revive
him,from his deep sleep it seemed;
her blank vision looking
past this cruel scorching
moment,for a fading dream.

Mine Has Arrived First

.

The sun still sleeps

as a dark horizon waits

for the
light of its morning

to illumine its world in beauty,

when I see your eyes open
and realize

mine has arrived first

Premium Member Arrived Yet Early

Blue

Small

Our child

Our wee girl

Too small to draw breath

She wanted our love so dearly

Could not wait to know us and greet this glorious world

Yet she arrived early, and now sleeps eternal in the security of your arms

Premium Member Autumn has Arrived

Autumn steps in as summer’s bright shine glimmers and flee,
After the heat begins to abate, autumn arrives as nature’s gift.
The soft melody of the leaves and breeze fills me with glee.

The season comes to sweeten with a beautifully painted face.
From green to golden sheen, the trees slowly drift.
The sky looks dank and blank with half shut azure eyes.

Autumn’s heady but steady steps cause rustling in dry leaves.
Squirrels explore and store nuts in their granaries for winter’s shift.
Fearing chilly fate, birds migrate and silence builds beneath the eaves.

Your Day Has Arrived

Your Day Has Arrived

With fire in my belly;
And ice in my veins.
I lift up my voice to say;
We Shall Remain!

Never to surrender;
To another's dismay.
Which is why my peoples shout;
We Live To Fight Another Day!

Rise up my peoples;
Set this world a blaze.
With the courage of your ancestors;
Reclaim your traditional ways!

Let nothing or no-one;
Silence your voice.
Live free or die a slave;
It is your choice!

Freedom be your's;
If you shed your fears.
The worst already happened;
On the Trail of Tears!

What more can they do;
To our ancient race?
That which we allow;
In idleness is disgrace.

Wake up and look up;
No longer bow down your heads.
This war is not over;
Until we're all dead.

It is time to live your truths;
No longer allowing the many lies.
Hoka Hey as the Lakota say;
It is a good day to die.

I would rather go standing;
On my feet;
Then to drift away slowly;
In my sleep.

Rise up! Speak up! Look up!
Warrior, this is your day!
A coward dies many times;
A warrior's spirit never fades!

Premium Member Winter Silently Arrived

Slipping through cracks in the clouds
snowflakes confetti the sky
like tufts of down tumbling down.

Riding on a chilly breeze,
twirling and swirling snowflakes
begin carpeting the ground.

Crowned the Queen of ice and snow,
radiant in Her beauty;
Winter silently arrived.

Consumed by flames of color
fueled by Autumn's pageant;
not a single leaf survived.

Winter wind freezes the air,
until it is cold enough
for you to see your own breath.

Adapt at sculpting in white;
Winter's sterile touch slows time
and immortalizes death.

When Robert Emmet Arrived

Hallowed The Halls of Antiquity
Frail The Parchment of History
When a Host of Quills Touched Destiny
And Rose a Peoples of Democracy

Hail sayeth to MAN not King?
Immortal Freedom When it Rings!
Freshly minted or neatly Forged!
No Queen or Earl or English Lord!

Across an Empire -England Stamped
With Sword and Powder and Steel Lance
And Spies and Traitors and the Gifted Lie
Soon Fear Peoples that may Do or Die

On an Island Nation Deep Dark Depths
Proclaiming freedom or cold stone death
Was Green their color yet red they Wept
As Tides of oceans the English Swept

Upon her shores and into her Land
Crushing Centuries English Black Hand
Rape and Plunder encouraged the day
Starvation Misery established the way

Intrigue with Promise and Commitment too
When they Lifted the North for only a few!
Son against Father and Father against Friend
The Wiley Weapon YOUR English Best Friend

To an Island Nation with an Emerald Sea
Of Warriors Poets Braving To Be Free
No Pestilence or Famine generations deep
Or Hangman, Lordship or Company they keep

No Black Hand Hovering -or Forcefully arrived
Dare Diminish the Centuries of Irish Celtic Pride
Never Taken Never Borrowed Never Given as a Gift
From hilly top to turf down flat to misty sea adrift

Thus was the day that born
When Robert Emmet Arrived
Thus was the day that born
When an Irishman had Died

Premium Member Apocalypse Almost Arrived

Insidious, insipid, id-inebriated imbeciles
incite impetus into inevitable immolation.

Bombast, bluster and bluff: blunt batons of barbarian bullies;
backwards behaviour blackballs baronial breed's burdens and bonds.

Weasely, willy-waving warmongers wage wanton war of words
without wit, wisdom or worldliness, whilst we weakly watch and wait.

Regrettable, repugnant reprobates ravage refined realms with
reprehensible rapier-rattling and rancid rhetoric.

Clash of corrupt, contemptible cutthroats carves calamity 'cross
continents and culminates in catastrophic conflagration.

Pointless predatory and political power-plays pale as
pirouetting pariahic pyres patently a pyrrhic prize.

Winter Has Left, Spring Has Arrived

Winter has left, spring has arrived;
day has the same duration of night,
this astronomical event is too unique:
earth orbiting sun is utterly mystique.
a change of season is announced;
swallows engage in acrobatic flight!

Winter was only a bale of unhappy memories,
melting snow creates brooks that quickly flow;
look up, shrilling eagles and pretels fly so low...
how glad they are to return to their old nests!

Winter has left, spring has arrived; the lovebird's
happy song has been reawaken, and heard again
in the rustling trees and in the frantic, warm winds
that scatter white clouds across the brilliant Heaven!

Spring has lovely sunsets, the ones that thrill the senses;
sit down and contemplate them a while with true revere.
This vernal season has beauty and is a delight to the eyes;
watch the Equinox slowly illuminate the above Hemisphere!

Premium Member 444- I Have Arrived My Time Has Come

I will “seek and find,” and not wait any longer.
I am coming to The Father
I am calling a new beginning ,
for a new opportunity,
No longer sinning, I’m starting a new beginning
Moving on, moving on now I’m stronger, I am strong
Moving from something and from someone
In the most positive light,
444
“I have arrived,” “I have arrived,”
“I have arrived,” “I have arrived,”

 “My time has come“
“My time has come.”.” In other words, your hard work has finally paid off.
444
I have arrived, I have arrived
In the most positive light, I have arrived
Moving on now strong, I have arrived, I have arrived
444
My time has come, I’m now truly alive
I have arrived, I have arrived
In Number 444
I am alive, I have arrived
In number 444
Moving on my time has come
My time has come
I am alive, I have arrived

Hallelujah I am alive, I have arrived
Hallelujah, 444 my time has come
My hard work has finally paid off
Now I am truly alive, I am alive, I have arrived
I have arrived

The Melancholy of September Has Arrived

The cypresses' leaves are vibrant and green, summer refuses
to leave as swallows wait for cold winds to depart;
chilly rain keeps all warblers in their nests hidden from intruders!

Yesterday's sun rays were pleasant to the senses of the dreamy mind
as we sat on the bench and cherished them for long;
evening came and clouds gathered and heard no single crickets' sound.

The melancholy of September has arrived a bit too soon,
Venice's narrow streets are deserted and silent;
rooftops drip as rain falls harder,very somber is the Lagoon!

A couple wearing long, black raincoats crosses the Rialto Bridge,
a yellow umbrella shelters them as their breaths steam;
no tourists frequent Saint Mark's Square under a sky so beige!

Sultry sky of Venice, sunlight will restore life and make you beautiful again...
pigeons will return and gondoliers will sing areas until the coming of dawn!

Autumn Has Arrived

LJH 28/9/12
Autumn has arrived

As the sun sets, lower in the sky
Summer, gently wave’s goodbye

Swirling leaves, changing colour to the scene
Gradually evolving, to golden from green

Wiser are the trees, their branches all a glow
Shedding, for later, seeds to ground will sow

The scent of autumn, earthy in the breeze
Nature prepares, before the winter freeze
