Rhymes in Nine Poetry Contest

Autumn steps in as summer’s bright shine glimmers and flee, After the heat begins to abate, autumn arrives as nature’s gift. The soft melody of the leaves and breeze fills me with glee. The season comes to sweeten with a beautifully painted face. From green to golden sheen, the trees slowly drift. The sky looks dank and blank with half shut azure eyes. Autumn’s heady but steady steps cause rustling in dry leaves. Squirrels explore and store nuts in their granaries for winter’s shift. Fearing chilly fate, birds migrate and silence builds beneath the eaves.

My dear Valsa, you are indeed a talented poet. Using designated words and writing a complex rhyme scheme, you composed a wonderful poem about autumn. Best for a win.

Dear sweet valsa! What an autumnal poem this is and your internal rhymes are beautiful! So well written and articulated! I think the imagery and how you’ve painted that in such a picturesque manner is impressive too. I especially love the lines “From green to golden sheen, the trees slowly drift. The sky looks dank and blank with half shut azure eyes. “ perfect” excellent use of colors too. You do any form in a way that gets readers hooked admiring your seamless word weaving! Best wishes! Sending you light today and always FAVE! Ill come back to read more of your work. Just getting back on here slowly and trying to write.
