Autumn Has Arrived

LJH 28/9/12 Autumn has arrived As the sun sets, lower in the sky Summer, gently wave’s goodbye Swirling leaves, changing colour to the scene Gradually evolving, to golden from green Wiser are the trees, their branches all a glow Shedding, for later, seeds to ground will sow The scent of autumn, earthy in the breeze Nature prepares, before the winter freeze
