Tri-Con
Created by Connie Marcum Wong, consisting of at least 4 three-line stanzas. Each line has no set meter or syllable count. The last word in each stanza must rhyme with the following Stanza, and then you need to change your rhyming word again in the third stanza, and so on.
Falling from cracks in the clouds
snowflakes confetti the sky
like down feathers tumbling down.
Riding on a chilly breeze,
twirling and swirling snowflakes
begin carpeting the ground.
Crowned the Queen of ice and snow,
radiant in Her beauty
Winter silently arrived.
Burnt by Fall's flames of color
lit within Autumn's pageant,
not a single leaf survived.
Winter winds soon freeze the air
until it is cold enough
that you can see your warm breath.
Preferring to sculpt in white,
Winter's sterile touch slows time
and immortalizes death.
