Best Allow In Poems
Absolutely enchanting I thought ~
As I drew the curtains wider, to allow in a bit more light....
Returning unto the canvas and dipping my brush
Into a slightly brighter shade of beige
Thinking perhaps just a touch more violet, a dab of red, and, a stroke of amber
Until, I heard the door bell ring, breaking, this mesmerized trance....
Sitting my palette down, and lying my brush aside, atop a colored cloth
I turned to see who it was, that was there?
"Hold on dear, I shall be right back," I whispered
As she smiled amid a radiance, that stopped me within my steps
How rarely seldom does one get a chance like this I thought?
If it is truly important and I know them
Then they shall kindly call, or possibly even leave myself a note
Besides, what an unpleasant reflection it would be, to even but for an instant
Interrupt this dream....
For no greater beauty have I ever beheld, nor have I ever found, then this
Perfection within everyway I believe, is whom she is ~
"What's wrong," she asked, "are you not going to see who it is?"
Glistening eyes, as I fixated upon her own, mirrors, of an endless hue
"No, not right now dear," as I then, poured her a drink
Smiling as she gracefully arose, proposing a toast I said
"To this moment, this day, to you and I, this time, and, amore"....
As I slowly reached forth my hand, to tenderly caress her rosen cheek
And to glide my fingers gently, through her shining auburn hair
"Here dear," leading her loveliness softly, "here, sit right there
That the sunlight may embrace your boundless beauty
This magnificence of your splendor, these wonders, from whom you truly are" ~
Glowingly she smiled once more, as with a passion, I then kissed her perfect lips
"I love you," she uttered
While as the mornings dew lit rays, reflected upon her enchantedness
As a glittering arose about my own heart, and a warming, within my now raptured soul
"So do I my love, I love you more," I returned
Retrieving my brush, my palette and my cloth
Exchanging glances amid knowing thoughts, these souls, so intertwined ~
"Excellent, do not move dear"
As always was captured forever, within, this moment right here....

Each Day We've a New Page to Write
(Soup does not allow ' in title line above)
Endless is childhood’s sweet story.
Its climax seems far from our sight.
As we keep adding in glory,
each day we’ve a new page to write.
Some days we fail; some we do not.
Regardless of fortune or plight,
sun rises! For what we have sought,
each day we’ve a new page to write.
How wonderful like falling snow
that lays down its white through the night,
each morning is fresh with new glow.
Each day we’ve a new page to write.
Though stories may seem to get old,
life never is worthless or trite.
Transform what you can into gold!
Each day we’ve a new page to write.

My soul has been cut by a spiritual blade.
Out of control and I only finished the eighth grade.
I've walked the dark path and so many mistakes made.
I heard the devil's wicked laugh but I wasn't afraid.
I trusted no one, due to physical and sexual abuse.
I've held a 38 caliber hand gun but couldn't put it to use!
Women in my life, I just wouldn't allow in my personal area.
Even when I obtained a wife, it was border line hysteria!
I often wonder about the abuse I suffered as a child.
Did that contribute to sex, drugs, and running wild?
The fast life can cut like a knife, but I continued the climb.
But it all would lead to fingers being pointed at me for a crime.
I was afraid to go to trial although the crime I didn't commit.
Past crimes as a juvenile would make me look like the culprit!
I just couldn't put my fate in the hands of twelve strangers;
And so I'm an inmate, but I refuse to succumb to the anger.
I couldn't go to the funeral when my momma passed away.
Such pain like I've never known beneath my breastbone and my soul went astray!
I buried my grief and walked around just a shell of a man.
Relief was found, as I fought my way out of hell and that dark waste land!
I took my pen and begin to express the pain.
Just to releave the stress that was slowly driving me insane.
I always knew the poetry was buried inside me.
But who would have thought this poet only has a G.E.D.
Yes I'm a poet, and oh how I feel so emotionally free!
And you need to know it, that my whole ordeal is in my poetry.
If you could see inside who I am, you'll discover my pedigree!
My love is bonafide and no need for a diagram in my poetry!!!

"Help me to write my God
Oh, Lord allow in me to share the light
LO!, My ears began to itch;
I was dumb founded;
My hands did I rub;
They to began to itch, also;
So many, so many, many words;
So much sadness in this world;
Do people even read anymore;
You there with many eyes and ears to witness;
So many great poets in this ole world, many far better than I;
O’ and my God you pointed out, "shared from Go”,
Is important;
I just write what I feel;
For yes it is real;
For if one writes truth then;
We are all they are sharing the Light;"

HOLD ME FATHER GOD
Hold me
Ever so closely
Lord, Father God
Hold me
Tight in your arms
Hold me
Ever so tightly
And don’t ev-ver… let me GO!
Kiss me
Father, ever so sweetly
Secrete in me your Holy Spirit
Allow in me to prosper and grow in space
Grant me Lord God your amazing grace
Surround me
With your eternal treasures
Allow in me to grow beyond measure
Hold me
Ever so closely Lord God
Hold me
Tight in your arms
Hold me
Ever so tightly
And don’t ev-ver… let me GO!

Lyric
O my Lord these trails and tribulations that I am going through. I look for the reason, Lord why? Lord, what did I do? Now heavenly Father your ways I can neither understanding nor can I see. I just thank you Lord for holding on to me. Without you Lord I would have no control, loose my way and life's pressures would make me fold but your love for me is more precious than gold.
And you know exactly when to lighten the load. For Lord your trails we must face and except and you know we we can't do it without your help, as quite as it's kept. Now you don't do this just because you can, it's because you have a special purpose for man. You know we are full of sin and sin will not be allow in.
Lord you know this world is proud, selfish and vain, where many are willing to give up their souls for recognition, fame and gain. But going the way of the world is futile and without you Lord life can be really brutal. We brought nothing here and we will take nothing away, even though we gather things as if we are here to stay. It's vanity my friend, just chasing the wind.
For Lord you know us all too well, thick-headed, stubborn and will rebel, I am so glad you sent us a savior, to keep us out of Hell. So again, I thank you father because even through the trails, the tribulation, the stress and the strife. You will still make a way for us to live and enjoy Life... Thank you again. AMEN.

Prose Poetry
Your castle has a moat
to mark for the unawares
the point of danger,
the change of rule.
My fort has a juice box
Your castle has a drawbridge
to allow in only those
who pass the "Hark! Who goes"
test and cause the chains
to move.
My fort has peak roof
for peeking out
and, on occasion
for peeking in.
But only for the Lucky Few
and only in the Lucky Few
moments when all is well,
for a spell.
Your castle has
both balustrade and colonnade,
meurtrière 'n its parapets
for staving off the storms
and againststanding and
withstanding arméd swarms.
My fort has a
pair a pets:
this fluffster at my calf,
snoring and this stuffster
in crook of arm;
well-worn, with eye
missing but stuffed
animals see with squishy bits
inside, not these button eyes.
Your castle has barbican and portcullis.
My fort has a wittle wiccan. Jealous?
Your castle has both crenellation and machicolation.
My fort has an introvert's narration and ceaseless cogitation.
Your castle has walls of
stone, long-charred by dragon
breath. With dents by dint
of Minotaur and Harpy.
My fort is cotton batting,
linen for winnin'
battles with monsters
greater than your gods.

Trust
It is Life’s mundane must
To have someone to trust,
Someone we surely know
Trust or loyalty to bestow.
Should in this I have a say:
Best thing to trust is a key!
A key remains so true
Till burgled or broken through.
It will not allow in its store
A “thing” it does not “know.”
It will safeguard that trust
To the finis of “biting” dust!

This is the best of all possible worlds so the sages say but I read the papers and watch t.v. everyday and things are seldom what they seem.
Those who pen and talk all day expound what we should think, feel and say. Shall we cower before those who fain authority.
In the dimming of the light I seem to have regained my inner sight.
With our zeal to conquer time and space we are told this will only benefit the human race but things are seldom what they seem.
We strike out with our tablets in hand no long able to converse face to face with our fellow man
And in every university all that is spoke of is diversity yet things are seldom what they seem for all those who flock are of similar means.
Our skin has become thin and easily bruised if we allow in our midst those with divergent views.
Thus I shed a tear at what we have become: thoughtless, mindless and numb.

What If Christ Said; “I Want Nothing to Do With You?”
What if Christ said; “ I don’t nothing to do with you?”
“You offended me!” “I know want to be with you!”
What if he counted your sins, and said; “you don’t measure up.”
“You’ve got me really angry.” “And I’m simply fed up!”
What if Christ treated us, as we treat our brother?
Would there be any meaning in “loving one another?”
Aren’t you glad that Christ didn’t give up on you?
In spite of your sins and faults… He still loves YOU!
Then why do we often build up “walls” as a defense?
Over something that happened…
We put up a fence.
We often choose those whom we’ll allow in. ..
And those we “kick out.”
Is this what being Christ’ example is really all about?
If you insist in bringing up someone’s list of wrongs…
Where, in God’s unfailing love, does this belong?
In God’s kingdom of heaven…
Why should he let you in?
If you can’t offer forgiveness for your brother’s sin?
Now’s the time for victory! The battle’s been won!
Through the cross, and the blood of Jesus, God’s son!
If there’s someone you want nothing to do with…
Look around!
For where there is sin…
God’s grace does much more abound!

You can have all your deepest dreams come true.
What's more, live happily!
But, you must release all negative residue.
Nobody's downer opinions can you allow in!
Your view of the world cannot afford dread nor
trash from the media bin.
Into your warm loving soul, you must reach!
If you can do this, life is sweet as the freshest peach!

Only God Knows
My soul will never leave me or ever perish
If Christ I love and soon start to cherish
Allow in my life and mean more than anything
So on Christmas many carols will start to sing.
We welcome Christ's birth into this world
With big, bright eyes and hair that curled
A friendly sort who had been hard to find
In big room, His Apostles wined and dined.
Christ remains in my heart and does not die
God sent His Son here so on we would rely
Hear all questions and answer all our prayers
Made in church or maybe up or down stairs.
How happy I am knowing Christ is up there
In heaven where Both are beyond compare
Never suppose and know where each one goes
When Christ will return again, only God knows.

I am bigger I see it every night every day
Either arrogance, or manifest, physic-ally
I am now faster, my mind darts quick, alights
On new theories I rest, dendrites oh so bright
I am so much stronger, felt in power of body
My hands crush and warp, power so rowdy
I dream of a dream, where I am enough
To make you draw to me - a diamond in rough
I prostrate myself, I make me a slave
To your azure look, your judging gaze
I crowd out regret and allow in the peace
The peace that with each push, I bring you to me
My size to dwarf you, more than even now
You're little but I'll be bigger, if God allows
My speed to outstrip you, to make you now gasp
To make you try pace me, hold gaze level, rapt
My strength to enfold you and hold you in arms
So big in their power, bring content not alarm
In Big-Faster-Stronger is your dream, your vice
All three I am now, your dream, your price
Here I stand now, your Perfect Prince Charming
And yet you do waver, your indecision alarming
If I am these three that you wish I would be
Why are you not here, unerring, with me?
You voice that these are your certain desires,
these three that I model, past my fear and through fire
Yet I am these now, these fees now from me
I've paid my debt so... when will we two (too) be?
I am even more, your soul-match afore
Yet still you push away, reach for fourth door
What is the fourth, the one I am not
What is beyond my trinity, my thought?
Is it something beyond present understand
Or is it something I will not know, the promised land?
I will seek it thus now, and keep pushing forward
To find what you want, what keeps us from reward
A few more years and maybe we will see
If I wasted all effort, or made the changes you need
Let us see what shall come in you to be
If you will love dream, that should be current me

Ballad
So I built these walls around me
To protect me
From being hurt again
By your actions and bad ways.
Because I know things can be better
For me alone for just a little while.
I know too with time
These walls will break
When I meet someone I can love
And receive a little measure in return.
Our days out numbered
By the careless manner you handled my feelings.
I know I may run away too
To a place me you shall never find
To shield the one I find
From memories of the past.
Love seed to break ground
One new time.
Talk again the song I know
Of feelings deep and true
Croons that do not lie
Pure and flawless.
When love entangles us again
In an eternal bond.
Make life we share work again
With hopes of a future promising
As we together discover God's secrets
With zeal ambition and prayers.
Our good Creator
The only third party I shall allow in our lives.
