Best Adjourn Poems
Man’s Best Friend
Their unwavering loyalty will never adjourn,
they will patiently sit and await your return.
They will give you their best with unending love,
they are man’s best friend, a gift from above.
They will always stand guard, both night and day,
you are theirs to protect, that’s just their way.
With hugs and kisses they will help ease your strife,
they need only you, to live their best life.
If you are anything like me, you will have a dog when you die,
when you never come home, they won’t understand why.
Dogs are very smart, they will understand death,
but they will need to see your body, once you’ve had your last breath.
All of us will die and this world will move on,
so please think of your dog, before you are gone.
It’s a heartbreaking time when our loved ones leave,
but just like us, our dogs need to grieve.

Not going to adjourn
Since you never learn
Going to make you squirm
More than a worm
With a stance that is firm
Then make you burn
So that you never return
Showing no concern
No more chances
Or free passes
You'll find out what happens
Over such foolish actions
When you are thrown into sulphuric acid
Or taken out through using gases
Then put below the grasses
And any branches
The universe continues on, as the scales tilt or balance
Whether it was done in good will or from being callous
Once or twice
Might not take your life
But make you pay the price
With the ultimate sacrifice
The outcome chosen by a roll of the dice
Since you never took advice
I think this should suffice
And if not then it will not end nice
Getting eaten alive by rats and mice
Too late to take back what you said
Going to bring you to the edge
And toss you from the ledge
Doesn't matter where you land or if it's on a hedge
So long as you remain dead
Oh well many other lifeforms will get fed
Body parts including the head, brought back to a den
Never seen or heard from again
Another meeting of the bobble heads
Will hopefully soon adjourn
A motion has been passed
A blogosphere, concern
With their dictionaries in hand
They find some words to use
New business on the floor
To help them fight their blues
With the king up on his soap box
They all now raise their glass
He thinks his words bring wisdom
But they’re really lacking class
This meeting of the minds
Is really just a joke
It’s just another excuse
To stir the soup and poke
In order to discern, you must learn. To look, listen and learn.
Your worldly ways adjourn, don't be to stern.
Remove your shoes and socks, step out of the box for the
world you now live, is a paradox.
You may frown, you may feel you're about to drown, stand
firm and you'll abound for your feet will placed on Hallowed
Ground.
SO (be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to wrath the
beginning to walking a righteous path) (James 1:19)
And you can't go go what the world think, when it says
your work stink, keep doing your do and don't shrink
wink, you'll emerge in the pink.
Nor don't shlep, do it with pep and take it step by step
because you're The Good Lord's rep, Yep.
There's about to open an important door. Just who is
this message for?
Charles Messina - Lento Contest
Adoring thoughts focus on life freestyle …
scoring just one private fertile square mile.
Stockpile goods, fish and hunt wild game to store.
Worthwhile garden work brings fruits, greens and more.
Adjourn from life beneath false, greedy skies.
Upturn simple joys as soulfully wise.
Devise strong home and outbuilds by hand earned.
Rise daily filled with all freedom discerned.
I was born with this name
A name that cannot be moved.
Through my struggles and through my pain
These shackles I shall remove.
Dignified in all my ways
Eminent proven that can't be replaced.
I am a true man of virtue
That cannot be measured by time or space.
I'm a Star of my own
Reflecting the rays of my thrown.
Magnificent and Majestic
In the land of milk and honey, I am the backbone.
Often misunderstood,
Confound and misconstrued.
Even in contempt of their judgement
My adulation infatuation will remain intact for my brood!
My love is undenying
Everlasting and undying.
Unreplaceable, indestructible
My fable inspires that transcends to be noble.
The King of my castle
A fraction define from a point of a decimal
Denoting in the tenth power
That represents the commandments of my counsel.
In translation...
I'm a man unrecognized by his emotions
Yet his word's expression
Forms a principle which defines in connotation.
My concentration
Concerns to adjourn any iniquitous Interpretation.
Adjudicated as if uneducated
Yet their mind's unable to define the intonation of my elucidation.
So therefore there's no question!
That I am...A son reflected by his own creation.
In his own reflection
My third eye indicates the gift of this phenomenal articulation.
So as my motivation
My delivery will continue to build in its meticulous manifestation.
A man that will man up
To whom, I will claim to recognize his own dejected aberration.
The long, motionless hours of night;
a nod, a blink or deep breath away from
a new day's noise and bustle.
Modern life, soon enough, will secure
its grip on each of us.
Many prefer the reticent solitude offered
in darkness. Never more than visitors there,
we still yearn for the placid serenity of the night.
The remnant of a night breathes evenly. Here,
there are moments when nature makes no commentary.
Man, animal, and machine all mute.
Those waking early hope to seize these
taciturn moments, holding them, savoring
their purity to soothe against the growling
noise and stress of daily life.
Cool, hushed wisps of air wash over these moments
and anyone still sleeping. Those already awake are
embraced in the tranquility. They can touch the
palpable stillness found in fleeting moments of time.
Some will feel nearly transcendent, while remaining
in the moment. Spirits immersed.
A reverie in synchronism.
In the brief interval which is a night, souls hang
suspended between the muted hour and the
commotion of a hectic life. Soon, the rising sun
will adjourn the laconic spirits of a night.
The taciturn and atoning moments recede,
but their commendation upon the soul remains.
Hearts momentarily warmed and comforted by
the perfect fabric of peace, new from nature's loom.

A foundling's spurn, like fate's adjourn
that fills its being, with return
of life - thy will, be Godly yearn,
nor destitute, like drafting, stern.
To understand more, than to learn
some righteous band, but then not turn
to righteousness, in loving's earn,
compassion's carry over, serve.
I loved you, to embrace some nerve
that carried your fond need, your verve,
as helping, left some filled reserve
toward aptitude, thy time conserve.
Within you, but as faith, your own
as when a prayer but asks condone
and greets its answer, then alone,
I asked to love you, but unknown.
The bast that prologues at my name
to gather momentary strove,
would surely hold not fair acclaim,
and surely bear not, at my love!
Vampires battle the lingering undead
Angles their bloody strikes upon them all
Masters of blood, and surely hates the morn
Personal aggravation to all men
Irritable just where werewolves adjourn
Reality strikes them odd for they sin
Evolution has sure spun them around

Shall we adjourn from the
morning morgue
For pizza and a game of chess?
Rays Curve Along The Earth
It is daybreak
With morning comes the
shining off the layers of the
lake
And mourning the opening of
the floodgates
We went down to the coffee
table
Skipping past the cherry tree
This tree, it served us fruit and
oak
To love and to live beside the
wood
And there we played a game of
chess
[/i/The bishops had fallen but
the castle was gone
The White king shoved the
guardsman pawn
He fell soon after
To roars of laughter
They all adjourned to the
morgue
To the final morgue]
Tea for two and two for tea
Still Café Paris for you and me
We lounged in striped sky blue
beach chairs
Our raking gazes grazed the
summit of the hill
I would not have sat still
But for the girl that had lain
The girl wreathed in flame
Scratched her shoulders and
laughed with the rain
I wondered: did I dare?
Hold her hand and descend into
the uncharted lair?
Gears and Cogs
It was between April and June
I began to build my bicycle
Fitted in a third wheel
By then I couldn't tell what was
true
What was real?
Took her down ol' King's Road
Gave her a short spin
But for the third wheel she
would've broken
She survived, just barely, a
token
The token piece remained
unbroken
I BUILT a house of upside down
I KNOW that lost is lost but
found
She was my house of upside
down
I built her and she built me
We built each other in the
machine
Gliding Through The Winter
Wood
It is nightfall
With dark tags along the
midnight sun
Unwanted but unaffected
She shifts the curves along the
earth
And ruffles up the winter wood
Where I have been waiting
Where I have wasted many a
night praying
And on the tree bark painting
For love and for my love
And the taking of an oath and
tea
What then shall the leaves fall
From thy hand onto the snow
And when shall there be
daylight once more?
For now I shall be gliding
Gliding through the winter
wood
Dark amongst the silver white
I am king and you are queen
In an endless game of chess
I was thinking
thoughts of course enforce thoughts.
and thoughts reverse or worse... coerce thoughts,
and thoughts match and then dispatch thoughts,
and thoughts discern and turn thoughts,
and thoughts improvise and sensationalize thoughts,
and thoughts enhance, advance, and romance thoughts,
and thoughts return, and adjourn thoughts
and thoughts copy thoughts,
What do you think?
Springtime lies hidden beneath frosted fern
It's resting under the clear star lit sky
Forever waiting until you return
As dawn hints red I can see with concern
Clouds gather on the Horizon, snow's nigh
Springtime lies hidden beneath frosted fern
The morning sun peeps through, but fails to burn
Thin mist from fields, so it's left just to lie
Forever waiting until you return
So patiently wait for seasons to turn
The sun's past its zenith, how time doth fly
Springtime lies hidden beneath frosted fern
The young skylark waits for winters adjourn
To pass the time he sings joy from up high
Forever waiting until you return
Day's end is here but it's hard to discern
If the ice has melted much, but we try
Springtime lies hidden beneath frosted fern
Forever waiting until you return
You promised me, was in despair
But, you had other things to care
You told me you could not adjourn
I waited, you showed no concern
Hope those regrets you could repair.
Hold me in arms when end is near
You keep my wish in your prayer
Time we lost will never return
You promised me.
Make death a beautiful affair
I shall rest in peace with no fear
Such a blissful end I do yearn
Though my life turned out little stern
I trust your love, will you be there?
You promised me.

Set me free from the bondage you have
You wrapped me in and never let me out
Contagious disease swallowing me whole
To your expense I am not adjourn
Carry me over to where you rest
I beg you please to set me free
Without much further ado
Freedom I pray to bestow upon my feet.
Long days are coming
Seasons are fast approaching
I have quit to see the beauty of thee
Coz your bondages hid my eyes to peek
Tormented soul of thine
To your wilderness of foreign land
I have come to seek emancipation
Yet you moved it to a capital N-O
Why does your wings cover me
To the light of tomorrow that the world brings in
Are you jealous of it
Or you just want me be swallowed by your melancholic sea.
Free me I say
Free me I pray
Free me from your total darkness
Free me from the growling tears of stress.
After July abdicates, august August arrives,
and the year advances, as annually agreed.
After assessing alternative alternatives and accords,
as anticipated, no other affirmative alternative is advanced.
Actually August is always an annual actuality, affably accepted
as amicable and always awaited ardently, as July avidly absconds!
Anxiously active actions advise August adherents, to atrabilious accordingly,
as days are abridged and abbreviated, around-the-clock! Slowly
as all administrations adjourn, advocates abort all agonistic argument,
as analysis of aforethought Acts are advanced, and addendums
are amicably agreed. After appropriate and amusing accolades are accepted,
all approve of appeasement, as another additional accidental adventitious
activity appears! August is always appreciated and advances, as aide-de-camps
award and authorise aristocrats and actuaries, to amalgamate advertising agencies,
although angry animosity always aggravates, angers, and aggrieves
anti-agreement antagonists! Assuaging angry aged academics and agents,
aghast at angry animosity, always attracts acrimonious atrabilious attention.
As an acknowledged antidote, an amusing anecdote is always acceptable,
as an agreeable anaesthetic appetizer, and allaying fears. An atmosphere
of aggravated argument, also assures all august, August activities are
axed and abolished abruptly, as September appropriately and advisedly appears!
Adieu, Adios, Arrivederci, Au revoir August and Amen!
