The roses are the best at the tree
The eyes on them rejoice
Gather the iris spree
Say Aah with the glee in the voice
When from the branches quite high
Someone plucks a few and then leaves
In a bunch on a tray on the sly
A little irritation under the sleeves
What I am not inclined to do for myself
A sky like attitude is doing that for me
Somewhat hesitantly I see it there on the shelf
But then on the flower there is also a bee
Out of the pink a heart incognito
The molecules of the love-laden mind
Rejoicing at the fact that I cannot say no
To the Premium membership and does it hiding behind
You are a good soul whoever you are
Though the difference doesn't matter much for me
In the harsh daylight you are in the hidden stars
Thank you for the cup of tea

We all have some things we do well,
Which bring us pride and pleasure,
That sense of true accomplishment
Which no one else can measure.
For even if we only please
Ourselves, that is sufficient
To even out the ways in which
We find that we’re deficient.
It’s nice to get acknowledgement
For something we’ve completed,
But even if we don’t, there is
No need to feel defeated.
Of course, that’s what we’re meant to say,
Yet I am not deluded,
Since everyone would benefit
From praise, myself included.

Dinosaur has been long forgotten
And so the truth
They are all hidden in the fossils
Of the olden days
Away from this century
Archaeologists come up with fossils
But deep hidden truth still not found
So wars, chaos, racism, terrorism, Hegemony, corruptions and epidemics
Continue to burst out
Truth found with the the meditation of philosopher
Is always without acknowledgement of mankind
A fossil of truth is never found
In the present world
And so the truth will continue to become
A fossil of the next generation
.
My words no longer rattle empty

For Brian Strand's Contest "What You Will"
Someone once told me,
Crying is acknowledging the dead.
Normally I’d agree, but
as I lie on my bedspread,
Thinking about who knows what,
I realize I’m not dead.
I cry all the while being alive.
I’m here but filled with dread.
So,
Am I soon to be dead?

TENSED ACKNOWLEDGEMNT
To mother, my photocopy
To mother's love so high
To her undying feelings
My image maker in the eve of
My waxing re-refinement
Things will never be left unsaid
Words will never be left untouched
But reasons be kept in my mind to love
She bred me in mountain to redefine the
Image of my root
Hear me mother, i cometh forth
In me lies faith and drive so
Pure to redirect light to shine
Among those black hearts that lives down the valley .
To father's brave spirit that materialized my image
My carbon copy, my second god
The smiles of my soul in the new moon
My heart of thanks rest not until
Those tears will be shade in my present for joy
I have brought from abroad
Hear me daddy. i curse not the day you
Welcomed me to your wonderful home
Like a rose, i will spring forth, erect
smile to the beautiful moon, look at the
Sun in the face for not in me was fear made
Not in me was hatred bred.
I cometh forth to redeem and bring light.
To sister, the bravest of all
When the circumstances was tensed
You stood firmly behind me in unity against
All odds to see me through.
Those funny stupid move of searching for the
Faded identity of which i was made
You recreate my being and gave me reasons to break
Forth the stories of unattained dreams
showered me love in hatred
here i come in peace.
To brother, the handsome of all
To his most intelligent moves
Am almost there Ugomsinachi
I am becoming a great novelist and poet.
Words unsaid hurt a lot in heart
The sky knows my worth, the moon smiles to ease my pains
The air, sun and grasses are never asleep.
As i have thought in recent years
I will be coming home
Coming for my dream wife to reign.
Say me well for i write not for the craving night
To see the day in this world of agony
To Madam Moses, i love, she bred the Hero in me
To MRs Esther, i deserve, she kissed awAy my pains
To mr Uche, he made the light
I forget not the erudite viewers and writers
Who cheered me always at the contest
Never get tired, i am coming for the prize
is not all alone.

1 John 1:9 KJV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
THE DEPTH OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
a shame to not know the condition of your soul -
be joyful in the depth of acknowledgement.
it is like taking a rosewater bath,
the cleansing of the sullied parts,
the soul glows eternally grateful.
if we confess, we clean up our mess…
it is not really us
but God does the work
the perk of listening to his Son
“who is faithful and just”
like a groom to the bride, Jesus is faithful.
our sins can be forgiven though he is just.
Father God sees his Son’s righteousness
wrapped around us. the second Adam
came to reclaim what was lost. man’s tongue
tied in knots as Satan slithered in Eden, but
now the fruit of doom’s untangled to bless
instead of cursing oneself.
how clean is clean? a hot coal burns
your lips, unsealed to receive sips
of living water. dunked underwater
so sin will come undone
and you will drown forevermore
in Jesus’ love.
don’t be afraid to close the lid
on the departed, to bask
in the new you —
you look fabulous
in your saintly garb,
not at all confused.
you're at peace. Jesus
restores what the devil stole from you —
your marriage, your kids, life’s genuine jewels.
if you were too far gone
down the rabbit hole,
plucked from quicksand,
just in time,
his shepherd rod and crook
will gently guide
you to a hope and a future.
Shake off the rattle of the serpent,
the wild skin rots your flesh —
the uproarious joy of the Lord
raises the roof beyond all comparison…
look around at the weak imitation
of the Niagara, a clear night of stars,
the Rainbow Mountains, cherry blossoms
in season…i could go on.
The afterlife party with the Son will be heavenly.

Next month, March, our young love will be alive
For one-half century plus two years; our love
Has stood through test which cause most to crash dive.
Our paths have gone to places undreamed of
Paths that we would not have traveled
One not very beaten down or worn path
Many of these journeys, we would have canceled
And would have left really fast.
God had a plan to weave us together
Creating unusual tapestry
On those grassy paths storms we have weathered
Drawing closer, love lasting, ancientry
Young love when first begun, hope, excitement
Half-century together love's acknowledgement

I’m a fencepost
With barbed wire
Leaning
On the prairie
I don’t know
What I’m keeping in
Or
What I’m keeping out
I’m just a fencepost
With barbed wire
Leaning
On the prairie
I did great today.
I saw pride in the faces of people I loved.
I saw them open their arms
For a hug, for a pat on my back.
Cheers, smiles and praises greeted me
As I walked past them all.
I saw faces I loved
But I was searching for yours.
In the midst of the crowd,
My eyes scanned for you
Hoping in the slightest you'd be there,
Hoping that perhaps you would've forgotten it all
To see me win.
I wish you saw,
I wish you saw how much I achieved,
And how great I did today.
A seasonal breeze is when I loomed you,
You were as beautiful as any floret in the shrubbery.
I grabbed your hand,
And we ambled hand and hand through the estate.
We consumed the day playing,
And relishing each other company,
While the day embraces our overview to our union.
The hilarity and joyous times,
Binge throughout the day of erudition.
We express about former love and heartache,
Reminiscing on the agony and life lessons we learned.
The way I feel when we're composed
Specially when you're in my arms
I can variety of affection to you endlessly
But you don't want to go that distant
You want to know what's in my sentiment.
So I appreciate the growing of my mind,
Evolving my emotion for yours,
And the acknowledgement of our love .
