Premium Member Elvis Aaron Presley

The legendary teen idol Elvis Aaron Presley
was criticized for his gyrations, expressly.
And yet, this shooting star went supernova,
morphing into a teenage Casanova.

When this Memphis boy began to croon
he'd wildly grind his hips to the tune;
and flashing his ice-blue eyes,
he'd generate tears and sighs;
while making the young girls scream and swoon.

Born blond, he dyed his hair black
and the King never went back.
He seemed to suffer an itch,
the way he would twist and twitch.

Premium Member The Tale of Prince Aaron

Once upon a time a long long time ago
Prince Aaron was riding his unicorn
When he met his precious princess
In the enchanted forests of the Ottawa Valley
And saved her from flying fiery dragons

He was so strong valiant and brave
Thus started a romance that would last a lifetime
One day they would throw the wedding of the century
But for now the prince needed to go to sleep
And give in to the dream land of elves and faeries

As mommy continues to read his bedtime story

Aaron

God called for you untimely,
Six and a half years have passed.
But I can still remember,
The lovely time I saw you last.

You was a welcomed surprise,
  On May 15th, 2002.
But then for some reason,
  The good Lord summoned you.

A feeling I can’t explain,
The letting go of a son.
He will always be our child,
We love and miss you Aaron.

Premium Member When Aaron Was In Mommy's Tummy

When Aaron was
in mommy’s tummy
I was tiny, warm, happy and content
I felt the surprise at the news
and from day one felt loved
I heard Mommy’s singing
	and daddy's voice
	reactions to announcements
	calling out different baby names
For the longest time I practiced
	smiling
	laughing
	giggling
	moving my arms and legs
	sucking my thumb
	doing somersaults
        recognizing mommy's and daddy's voices
And I grew bigger and bigger
I dreamt about
	playing with kittens
        petting puppies
	playing with goldfish and turtles
	chasing butterflies
        reaching out to the moon
        playing with little friends
	having bubblebaths
	wearing silly clothes
	playing with toys
        falling asleep to lullabies
	and bedtime stories
	playdates at the park
	learning to walk
	learning to talk
        learning my numbers and ABC's
	climbing trees
	flying my first kite
        riding my first bike
	touching and smelling flowers
	my first Easter egg hunt
	my first Christmas morning
I felt so much anticipation and love for my arrival
as mommy rocked me on the big chair by my crib

And then early one morning,
It was March 26, 2017
        time to welcome little
        Aaron Arthur Joseph Wicks
        to the world

Poetry Groups and Aaron Jumpers

Red checkered carpet and mahogany wood dominate
Guinness, beer and wine stand politely
Reflective
The eclectic gathering of minds and smiles
Litter the room as left over christmas baubles
While one voice swoons across the ceiling to fall on ravenous ears

Smiles in therapy
And memory slip over the rickety stiles of childhood
As eyes wide shut dance or skipping hypnotically
As an exuberant uncontrollable child on a windy day
Create their own beautiful masterpieces from the words lain for all to dream

A sigh
A scratch
A rustling peanut packet to distract
The odd glance searching the sea of eyes for recognition, acceptance, hope or a mere smile

Where aaron jumpers distract
Why do aaron jumpers make one think of catalogues, hearty meals and most of all love
The love of huge warm arms swinging you around in adoration
Sheer exhilaration at really being in love
Why do aaron jumpers and
A scottish poets words create
Grey seas frothy cream licking the rocky skirt of the lighthouse
Red and white solid safety which
Perfectly beckons me

And the poem did that and the mind did follow joyously
The words laid down by
A man died two years ago
Why did he have to die 2010 just before i heard of him
And now i must search his words in past tense
And almost hero worship
The man from Edinburgh and the visions he gave me
By the sea

I shed one tear

This is about my visit tonight to a poetry group and how reading and your own imagination dance arm in arm.....
Every poets words are half the painting to be completed by the fresh eyes which read on...my theory anyway

Aaron Mckibbin

Aaron was born with club foot,
But had corrective surgery cool,
So played tennis until aged 14,
When he changed to table tennis.

Very soon after, at the age of 16,
He tried out for ParalympicsGB,
Even tho’ he didn't see himself,
As disabled in any way or form.

He loved the thrill, excitement,
Of competing against other folks,
On the same level as himself,
So entered many competitions.

His first contest were Europeans,
In Split which sits firm in Croatia,
In 2011, and so qualified for 2012,
The Paras that changed the world.

Then 2014 he won team silver,
In Slovenia, Slovenia and Italy,
And in 2015, in Vejle in Denmark,
He and his team won a bronze.

In the China Open, the singles,
Aaron won the gold triumphantly,
And in the Lignano Master Open,
They won team bronze with skill.

In Rio he won the team gold,
With Ross Wilson, Will Bayley;
Born 27th August 1991, London,
He lives and trains in Sheffield.

Aaron Moores

Aaron comes from Trowbridge in Wiltshire,
But recently moved his training to Swansea,
At London 2012 for backstroke he won silver,
He has a learning disability, so swims S14.

In 2013 he won bronze in Montreal, Canada,
At the IPC Swimming World Championships,
And 2014 in the Glasgow International Meets,
Twice he set a WR in the 100m breaststroke.

So at Rio in the men’s S14 100 breaststroke,
Aaron collected a very well deserved gold,
With a time of 1:06.67, second to Scott Quin,
Although he missed a good backstroke win.

Aaron

Aaron went through deadly struggle
Of dark vile forces from within,
They advanced trying to smuggle
His soul offering heroin.

He was then lost, longed for support,
A hug, conversation, shoulder
While dark forces attempted to thwart
His plans of becoming bolder

To face his cruel addiction
Taking responsibility
Of past in his jurisdiction,
One day to reach tranquility.

early one morning
born in late March
Arrived with a gust of spring
in time for awakenings
for trees to bud and come alive
for birds to chirp
their sweetest chants

born in late March
early one morning
in the midst of exuberance
as an awesome tribute to life
a prime chance for renewals
grand-daddy’s pride and joy

Aaron

I think I've fallen too damn hard for this man

He makes me happy

It's driven me crazy I think I've finally found somebody worthy

and the crazy is he sets me free

I'm just shocked he's my baby

and that he's fallen for me

he's mine to cherish, hold, and care for

he's mine to keep in my heart

he's the key to heaven's gates

and it's forever too late to stop my heart from racing when I hear his voice

his eyes got me floating by the stars

his smile gives me butterflies from here to mars.

he's mine

I'll love him for life even when I die he'll be mine

I'll still save his from anything that steps in his way

I just gotta say I'll love you everyday from January to December I'll forever remember the day my life got happier when you stepped in

even then I knew you were the love of my life

I love you, Aaron

Every time I cry I know it's all gonna be alright cuz you're by my side forever in even when we die.

forever mine

It's no lie

Premium Member Aaron Rogers Lost His Touch

Aaron Rogers has lost his touch
which doesn't bother me too much

His team's record now is 3-4
with many more losses likely in store

  League MVP two years running
this season for Rogers they've come gunning

No longer the toast of 'Packer-town'
Most plays find him flat on the ground

But he's 23-5 lifetime against my Chicago Bears
and it's even worse than that appears

'Cos in most Bear-Packer games his team trails late
when thanks to destiny or fate

  Rogers mounts a furious comeback
as victory from my Bears he ransacks

So, please excuse me, I'll shed no tears
while I toast the end of Aaron Rogers' career
