Beguile Poems | Examples

A Good Day To Be Honest

My heart is filled with fears,
My eyes, they are full of tears.
I miss you so much that every part of my body aches.
You will never know for you I kept myself at stake.

I can't stop myself from loving you,
I can't tell myself not to think about you.
Yet you seem so nonchalant about it,
In your life I was such a misfit.

Your words and your actions don't match,
Yet every tear you shed I am ready to catch.
But for you I was never a good match.
You said there are others and I smiled.
Your love made me beguile.

It's so clear for you I never mattered,
Now you are gone and all my dreams are shattered.

I should have known this,
Love never brings bliss.
And here I lie down and cry,
Asking myself why?
And you seem to be so fine,
I mistook you for a diamond, you were just an ordinary stone which shined.

Love's Beguile

To the breezes
                         moving so wiggly
              and fondle your cheeks
I kiss them in broad daylight

To the moon
 shinning so faintly
 and mirroring your pretty face
I retained her under my eyelids

                 To the morining mist
                  smiling in the valleys
         and rejuvenating your eyes
                        I hug her so gently

To the rains
descending so calmly
 and soaking your thin frame
I dance and sing in it

                                             To the sun
                             that promises a day
and making you sultry and sweaty
                                            I burn in it

To the rose
red with throned whip
and on your lip that flip
I crush it and rub on my chest

Still Beguile

On waking to the strongest gale
Bedraggled sunflowers still beguile
August storms of wind and hail
Will ne’er destroy my sunflowers smile

A Beguile Ladder

I was soaring high and still higher up
climbing the ladder of love
I wished I could stay forever at the top.
sleepwalking uphill beyond control,
in a dream that was no longer mine
I was in a world, where each day was Valentine.
With your hand to hold, with your lips to kiss, .
shoulders of trust, I climbed in zeal of thine
far away from the chaotic crowd below,
I believed deep, every word you said was right.

Did the ladder catch fire?
Or did a shovel dig the ground?
Did the wall hate it leaning?
Or the rainstorm got it drowned?
Before I knew, I was back on my foot
studded hard to abyss of the ladder.
Heart all cracked, holes all over.

They said, it's nothing, move on with a smile.
But perhaps my smile I left at the top....
still tall and strong,........ a ladder beguile.

Premium Member The Merchant Beguile

the merchant beguile
sat not sanded, miracle mile
what went where whence
was their way, around the fence
in American fen
gators and crossbow
sickened accosted
absolutely aware
awed without care
float and flutter
your way through this life
see me clear
back to my wife

Ever Beguile

Ever Beguile

None of you will I ever beguile
Could not find it to be my style
About a person was insinuated
Poor behavior so we have hated.

Was even read in current news
About how others he will abuse
And always take advantage of
When what we need is much love.

Misrepresent those with handicap
Between each ear represent gap
Lack of knowledge or any feeling
No wonder we are hitting ceiling.

You should see news sky rocket
He has our plumbs in every pocket
Never knew what was his game
Four more years of the same.

I won't bother to mention his name
like a popular actress failed to do also.

Premium Member Oh, Waters Beguile

Impermeable waters thrill the air
To invigorate tiptoes everywhere,
Dizzy where moist grasses and blooms unfurl
As herons pirouette through a curved swirl,
Where mist, in full hydration, reels a while
Its tangy perfume …the senses beguile!

As crystallization forms like soft ice
From mild gushes, flowing tendrils baptize
The requisite weave of crests, its tidal intent
Where islet’s limbs end a water dance’s fest
Oh, precipitation of gust crowns the moon
Tugging lovers and dreams in a ballad’s tune.
