Dark Secrets

Everyone has a deep secret,
Followed by consequential dark pasts,
Hidden in the line of force,
Unfazed by the parallelism of cream of society (Beau monde);
Hidden under the mask of loyalty,
Fingers flipping between the pages of reality and virtuous figure,
Strong magnetic force smashing the objects of high tensile strength,
With a mere fear or force of God ?
Dazzling flame of light sparks the truth with high intensity,
Yet there are variants of this,
But do you believe in more powerful force in this universe other than what is already present ?

What Matters

if they have
3 cars! I don't even
perceive them here from above
on my magic carpet...
if they are models
Handsome and gorgeous!
i am standard of
beauty for whom
love me and this
it's enough for me...
if they are powerful
beau monde
what a pity because
 they don't command me
I manege myself..!

Premium Member From Lily's Womb

Sentinels were gathered upon the pond

dressed in their best green beau monde'

Waiting to herald the birth of first bloom

as twins were whelped from Lily's womb

Premium Member The Name's Blond, Jane Blond

There once was a beauty of whom I was fond
She lived a top secret life of the beau monde
Yet I felt despair
When she changed her hair
And presented herself as Blond, Jane Blond

Premium Member School Clothes

The clothes that I'll describe, my age I'll surely reveal.
Recalling clothes worn to school back then now seems surreal!
Not to sport the latest fad, you weren't one of the 'ins'.
Your were a social outcast committing beau monde sins!

The gals wore saddle shoes and fancy poodle skirts,
And instead of a blouse, one of dad's old cast-off shirts.
Girls had to take sewing classes in home economics.
The feed-sack outfits they made were fit only for the comics!

Boys wore loathsome knickers or shapeless overalls,
Or squeaky corduroy trousers slinking along the halls.
High-top boots with a knife were worn by lads off the farm.
Nowadays, the knife would cause the principal some alarm!

Girls couldn't wear jeans regardless of weather conditions.
Dresses and itchy stockings were worn to maintain traditions.
Seniors wore corduroy skirts and pants colored gold,
With pithy notes scribbled all over - a sight to behold!

Today, boys wear droopy pants, the seat nigh the ankles.
Girls wear low-slung jeans baring navels that really rankles.
They say they're just expressing their individualities.
(I suppose we did the same, expressing our personalities!)
